Service I requested was blown in wall insulation. Wendy the estimator did the quote for this. Great pricing and very flexible on changing the date of installation, they came a few days earlier which worked out well for both. The crew were very efficient and friendly. After finishing blowing in the insulation they cleaned up all around the exterior of the house leaving nothing. It pays to read contract fine print. Other quotes I received varied in pricing by double and wanted 50% upon signing then 40% day of installation leaving 10% at completion. Also changing the installation date was costly, some $500 just to change a date. WA Evergreen did not charge a fee to change a date, nothing down just pay when completed. Great communication by all involved. I'm very happy that I chose them. read more

I would not recommend this company as they don't seem professional. They came twice to my construction site to give me an estimate and when I asked few questions to clarify the quote, no response. Additionally they were the most expensive of all the quote I got. I can get that a company is too busy and/or doesn't want the job but a simple email saying so would have gone a long way! Time is critical on construction project and they just made me waste mine. read more

I was originally going to give them 4 stars but I had to downgrade because the team damaged thermostat wiring in the crawlspace that led to my furnace fan staying on 24/7. Evergreen came out and looked in the crawlspace and reassured me the wiring was not damaged but I just had an HVAC technician come out that diagnosed the issue. The HVAC technician said that the only way to fix this is redo the wiring. I can no longer control the furnace fan from the thermostat and the fix is cost prohibitive because it would involve rewiring. I paid them to fix one thing and they broke another. I did reach out to Evergreen and they paid the bill for the HVAC technician and agreed to pay for the rewiring but I am having trouble finding an electrician for the project that is responsive because it is a small project. I am afraid of finding someone else that would cause more damage. I had multiple communication issues (scheduling, billing, scope of work) with this contractor that was echoed in other reviews. My appointment never got scheduled and when the insulation removal date came, no one showed up so I called them. Wendy was very apologetic about this and they were kind enough to get me scheduled next day. The next insulation removal/installation appointments went as planned. Wendy asked the team to replace the vapor barrier because it was installed by mistake in part 1 (more common), instead of in part 2 (less common). I had extra tasks on the to do list but honestly, unclear if the team actually did them. The team also installed a CO2 monitor inside my garage without asking me. I had a combined smoke/CO2 alarm inside the house already so this was unnecessary. I was doing a PSE rebate so that made paying in 2 parts a bit more complicated but I talked to the finance dept and Wendy and ultimately this was corrected and I paid the amount that was agreed upon. I went with Evergreen because they were cheaper than other bids that I got and I am paying for that mistake now. I am upset that I didn't have a good experience with them after all the research that I did to find a good contractor. I also contacted Wendy a month after installation and she never responded to me to come check the space for rat activity again. This was something she previously offered. If you go with Evergreen, I hope your luck is better than mine and no damage is done. read more

Prior to marketing their homes, they needed to clean up their sub-structure/crawl space, install new vapor barrier, remove old insulation, re insulate, correct drainage problems, install electric sump pumps as well as a variety of issues commonly identified on professional home inspections. I have used them personally several times. I, as well as other home owners, found them to be honest, reliable, and their bids were always very completive. I'm sorry to say that this is the most unprofessional, sloppy company that I have ever dealt with. From the shoddy work, or charging me top dollar for a type of insulation and installing a lesser, thinking I would not notice or to promising me a portion my money back and never actually following through. I was charged almost 4K to have them insulate my small shop that's 400 sq ft. Here are just a few of the things I caught.. Incorrect rigid board on the ceiling, it actually said it absorbs water on it, gaps not sealed along the rigid board, they never taped the gaps. When installing Rockwool, they stuffed it instead of making cutouts so I have bulges everywhere that will need to be fixed before I have drywall installed, they blocked off my 2" air gap on ceiling which will eventually lead to mold and rot. They attempted to seal my windows with the wrong foam and didn't even seal the gap. This is just a few of the issues I have had. Wendy had repeatedly promised me a portion of my money back but never followed through. Do not use this company, I'm currently in the processes of suing Wendy and Wa Evergreen Insulation. After some digging, I found out their licenses was suspended in 2018, they relicensed under a new name and it is currently suspended AGAIN and has been since 3/18/2022. Folks you have been warned, if you have had work done by this company I would have it inspected. They broke countless WA regulations. read more

was hoping for higher quality insulation. They did alot of clean up in my attic, clearing debris and taking out old insulation. But I thought the installation process was rushed. Hoping for silver radian one sided but it seems they went the cheap route. No rodent proofing like others I talked to. cheap job/ cheap insulation. read more

As a Realtor I have dealt with many crawl space repair companies over the years. This time was for my own home that we were looking to purchase. I contacted 3 companies to bid the job. Not only was David on time, he was personable and professional. I had 2 more quotes coming after his..one never showed, the other was obviously unequipped for the job, they said they would sub the job out and that is was just such a large project, took them 2 weeks to get us the bid after I contacted them multiple times. Their bid came in 3 times higher than David's. No brainers, called Dave scheduled and the crew was out and working all day just as expected. Couldn't recommend them more! read more

We had our attic insulated by WA Evergreen. They charged a very reasonable price for the work and did good work. My only concern is that I asked for cellulose blown-in but the crew did fiberglass. I guess there was some sort of miscommunication between the person who came for inspection (Wendy) and the crew. However, Hector, the crew leader, was a great person and did his best to address the issue by blowing a few more inches of fiberglass to get closer to the R-value of cellulose. In general, I recommend this company and hope they communicate better with their crew about what the customer is looking for in the future. read more

I used this company for my house and the overall experience is positive. The beginning experience was great. Wendy came and provided a competitive quote. I could see the honesty in her words that why I decided to move on. She is not the one who will draw a complicated plan to let you to do more jobs but just proper items to fix your current problems and meet your budget. There were some mistakes on the quote but was fixed promptly. After the crew finished the job, there were some issues but Wendy and the company could work and resolve them accordingly. Overall, positive things: - Wendy, nice and honest old lady estimator. Always promptly responses to questions. - Crew and technician came on time, finished the job on time as expected. Main negative things: - Inconsistency about the work done between crew and supervisor. - Communication from crew working onsite. - It's been 3 weeks but they haven't sent the photos of the work. read more

Had to have my insulation done in my crawlspace. The entire process has been absolutely amazing. The price is fair for everything they do.(extremely thorough employees) I spent a few days shopping around. They ended up being the best at communicating, getting everything completed in a timely manner. I would definitely suggest going through this company vs the other companies in the area. The owner, Humberto, wrote a nice note apologizing for the fact that our job did not work out as intended. I appreciate that the company did eventually contact me to bring this project to an end. I've increased my rating based Humberto's response to the problem. ****** 11/30/21 I hired WA Evergreen Insulation based on previous reviews. I needed insulation put into the attic of my 1952 home and all of the walls and ceiling of my attached single car garage. My house is a 1000 sq. ft ranch, with easy access to the areas needing insulation. The single car garage was stripped to the studs as I was in process of refreshing the sheetrock. As part of the job, Evergreen agreed to put in wind stops (baffles) along my soffits so that my roof would ventilate properly. This was an easy task for the open walls and ceiling area of the garage, and needed some finesse in the main house attic due to existing insulation. This was all known in the bid process and was reflected in the higher cost I paid to get the job done. When installation day came, and as Evergreen "finished" the job, I asked if they installed the baffles. The crew stated, "Yes! Everything is done." When I checked the areas after they left, I found they had not installed any baffles. They put insulation right up to all the openings in my soffits. The crew had blocked all airflow into my attic. I called the company to complain. Evergreen sent a second crew, and this time Carlos (Humberto's son and co-owner) came with the crew. Carlos and crew worked at my house for about an hour and then explained to me that they installed baffles where they could, but they couldn't install them in all areas. I asked to show me what they had done. As we went into the attic space, it was clear that there was no airflow as the space was hot and humid. I looked around and saw only 4 additional baffles. When I asked Carlos why, he said all the other openings were blocked and could not have baffles. Carlos told me it was normal to have a hot attic and not to worry. I was pretty frustrated by this comment, and wanted him to take another look at the job. He wouldn't and left. So, I called evergreen to complain again. On the third visit, Humberto (the owner, father of Carlos) came out to look at the project. He discovered that there was insulation up against the roof sheeting that was blocking where the baffles could be set. Which surprisingly, his crew had installed on their first visit. Humberto said that he pulled the insulation back with a stick and that his crew was now putting in the baffles to add airflow to the attic space. He said his crew would continue working and finish the attic, and he left. 15 minutes later, the doorbell rang, and I saw his crew walking down the driveway when I answered the door. I called out and asked if they put baffles in all the areas, and was told "Yes, Everything is done." When I check the attic later, I discovered that they had only put baffles in 75% of the attic. They had not added any baffles to the space above the garage. I did call to complain again. However, I was told that they would come again (a 4th time) to complete the job. After two weeks of waiting, I guess they've changed their mind. I would not recommend this company to any person I know. read more

I'm super happy with these guys and highly recommend them. I had a rat problem in my attic and it was disgusting up there. David came to have a thorough look, explained everything, and emailed me a very reasonable quote the same day. The crew came out a week or two later and worked hard for several hours. They cleaned out all the soiled insulation (lots of rat poop and pee), sealed up all the holes the rats were using to get in, sanitized and deodorized the space, and then installed new insulation. Everyone was super nice, answered all my questions, worked super hard, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. They even installed a nice new vent for my bathroom fan (that had been blowing right into my attic before!). Would definitely hire them again if needed! read more

Very responsive at first, got here on time and completed half the job. We scheduled for the second half to be done, but when i tried to confirm details of what was needed at the second job and what time the workers would arrive; i heard nothing for days. Needless to say the workers showed up on the day discussed but not at a time confirmed. After all the jobs were done I had a few questions about the work, and to this day am still waiting on a response from someone at the company. I had never heard of these guys until my inspector friend Mike referred them to me. I had my seller contact them when a crawl space issue needed attention prior to closing. My client said that he was fast, the price was reasonable, and that he did a good job. But wait....there's more! Tomorrow is closing day, and my client packed his receipt away with all of his other items he's moving. Yikes! Quite a predicament when I'm getting some of the last minute checklist items taken care of. I contacted Evergreen via email around 10:30 AT NIGHT, and me messaged me right away and asked for the clients name so that he could quickly send over a copy of the receipt. David was amazing. He walked me through everything that needed to be done and was able to get us in quickly. This is a rental property that had horrible tenants. After months of the eviction process we finally got them out. They left garbage in the crawl space which attracted hundreds of rats. With the rats came a lot of damaged instillation, droppings, horrible urine smells and broken screens which allowed them in and out access. They were able to fog the entire house which took away all the smell, rewrap pipes, treat and clean all of the toxic rat urine and droppings and block all the entry points. This business did not stay to there quote/agreed price then they reduced it closer to the original an I was ok with that. They proceeded to start making excuses to not show up and finish the job by saying: our equipment had a hole in it then they were under staffed you get the picture then stopped all communication.
