Beware of these swindlers. Their door to door salesmen will sell you on a free service then in the fine print of the contract rope you in to 18 or 24 month agreement. They could not take care of a problem with ants we were having in the bathroom. After reviewing how much I was paying per month and realizing that it wasn't worth it, I contacted them to cancel, $800 later I'm done with these crooks. read more

Two door-to-door salesmen came to my home. After I declined their service, one of them offered to personally pay the $50 initial fee if I signed up, and verbally told me I could cancel at any time. I signed on his tablet without reading the agreement (my mistake) and a tech performed the service about 20 minutes later. What was never disclosed verbally: that the service was actually a 24-month contract, that the "$50" was actually a $450 service with a $400 discount, and that cancellation would trigger a fee for the discounted amount. When I called to cancel two months later, the representative told me the cancellation fee would be $450 -- a number that doesn't even match their own written contract, which caps the fee at $249. When I told her I needed time to look into my options (legal advice/BBB) and asked her not to take any action on my account, she talked over me, said she would close the account anyway, and hung up. I attempted to deliver a written cancellation in person and found the office closed during posted business hours, with a printed "Notice to Process Servers" taped to the door directing legal mail to a Gmail address and a corporate office in Utah. read more

Be aware of this scam service, the tech came on the wrong day and could not complete the service as a result. When we tried to reschedule 3 weeks passed with no answer until I followed up for the third time. With the partially completed service we still have ants building nests in the areas that were treated. When trying to cancel the 3rd party service rep was rude and pushed back, offering another discount and to send a new tech out the next week. I was charged the discounted amount of $106 from the discounted service that the rep offered verbally, stating we could cancel at any time. Terrible company read more

I find Enviroguard very professional and responsive. I would definitely recommend them. We haven't had any bugs, spiders, in a long time.

I should have checked the horrible reviews before saying yes to their door to door salesperson. This company his horrible. Not only did it not solve my pest issues, the ants and spiders never went away even after their visits. They lock you into their subscription model and when you try to cancel, they will tell you they can't because you'll have to "fulfill" your service agreement, so you'd better set a calendar reminder to call back on a specific date OR you can go ahead and payment several hundred dollars to get out of their so-called agreement. read more

We trusted this company to treat our home with care. Instead, their technician sprayed our organic vegetable garden. We caught it in real time and stopped him. He denied it--until I pulled up the video from our backyard camera showing him waving the spray wand across every raised bed. After that, their regional manager Justin stepped in and did the right thing. He told us they would replace all the soil in our raised beds and compensate us for the loss. Fair enough--mistakes happen, and we were willing to move forward. Then everything changed. When it came time to follow through, Justin denied ever making that commitment. He said new management above him rejected the claim. Same situation, same damage--just a different story. We have the video. We had the agreement. Now we have neither resolution nor accountability. If you're considering this company, understand this: it's not the mistake that matters--it's whether they stand behind their word when it counts. read more

Deceptive practice against consumers. They charge a fee to cancel and don't put notes in on your account. They promise you things but hide behind their contract. That you won't see. They deceptively use a 3rd party so they won't deal with the public. Their cancelation department is a joke. read more

Envioguard is a scam. sales person knocks on your door feeds you with 100 lies then pulls out the iPad and has you sing it and even when you stipulate on the contract that it wasn't a 12 month agreement, when I call Nicole to cancel she threaten me with retaliation. Even the unhappy employees understanding how big of a scam this company is they tell you the name of the very low cost but great product that they use. Unfortunately I would not recommend EnviroGuard. I would repeatedly have to request repeat treatments. Also, apparently there is an unbeknownst a contract though I thought you can cancel services at anytime-- not true. A $100 cancellation for regular service and an additional $100 cancellation for mosquito service!! read more

They make it very difficult to cancel the service! We have called and emailed. The called us and said that if we wanted to cancel we would need to talk to another person. We told them that we had emailed them and just cancel. They emailed us back and said that it was policy that we needed to talk to someone. Very frustrating! Never again! This is the end of my year contract, Thank God. The entire year, I requested morning service and never got it. Every time the technician would say we have you down for anytime and every month I'd call and complain and every single time I was PROMISED morning service. Bunch of liars! Twice i was home and got decent spraying because I was there to watch. Every other time, they said they'd been there, but no evidence and I still had lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Once the nei g abort saw them come, open gate to back yard, spray about 5 feet along fence line, then leave. I might as well have flushed $1500 down the toilet and bought a can of Raid. Don't waste your money!!! Horrible company! If I could give a 0 or less than 0 rating, I would. Don't use this company if you won't be home to verify service. If you aren't home they will not complete the full service but still bill you for it. I caught them 2x via my security cameras & they will not be getting an opportunity to scam me a 3rd. Getting ahold of someone at the offices to try to resolve the matter is a joke. I wouldn't recommend this service. Every time they came to do a service, they would skip out on areas unless I watched them. During the entire time I had them, I had ants in my kitchen. When I brought that up to them, they said they could lay out two or three small traps for them in my kitchen. It would have been much better to address the problem at its source. read more

Average pest control company with aggressive service scheduling. I requested for a quarterly plus the initial service, but somehow got monthly service scheduled. Avoid Envirogaurd. They can several times to remediate an ant and spider issue and it still did not work. I told them several times that I was cancelling their services and they still came when I wasn't home and now have charged me. read more

Do not do business with this company. I signed up for service from a salesmen knocking on our door. Have used them for 10 months and no we are moving. Called to cancel our monthly service and found out to I was signed up for a 12 month contract. Their Salesman forgot to mention that part. They told me I would be able to cancel since I'm moving to another city upon showing proof of a new address. I had to end up showing 3 different proofs of address because the first two didn't meet their requirements. A dozen phone calls, and numerous emails over the span of 4 weeks, they finally accepted our new gas bill as a proof of move. This morning I get yet another email telling me I owe the difference in the discount they gave me for a 1 year contract. This is the first review I've ever wrote for any company. What we thought we signed for: removal of large wasp nest with a 4-6 week follow up. What we received: a 12 month contract with a $150 cancellation fee. My bad: Listened to sales person and not reading fine print on contract. Warning: don't be rushed and read the fine print. How often do we need reminded?! The young men on scooters lied when they canvased my neighborhood and told me that I could cancel anytime. I trusted them because they said they owned the company, which I see was a lie. When I got an email saying that they were coming to spray again, I wrote back and told them I didn't need, or want, to have my property sprayed until next spring. I got another email saying I had to call the office to cancel my the service, which is when I found out that it would cost over $200 to cancel. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told she was out. Supposedly she will call me tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!!!! Actually I think their 3.4 rating is generous. They are unethical, lazy & have horrible customer service. If you do decide to chance it, you will find the only thing you will get, is an empty bank account & bugs, lots of bugs. When I set up my account I told them that I have 3 extremely large dogs & needed the technician to call or text me 30min before they show up, if they showed up. This request was never honored & I was stuck with their "4hr,6hr" service window. Since I am disabled this practice made it hard for me because their tech was always in a hurry. On several occasions I was home waiting & the tech never even got of their truck, or even spray what was available, my front yard. The tech also never left a note on my door that told me I had missed them, even when in fact I was home the whole time. I called their customer service several times to try to resolve these issues & received absolutely no relief from the situation. Basically all they would say was "tuff darts farmer, that's our policy." Because of their lazy employees I paid monthly for a service I never really received. Very unhappy with the customer service I have received from Enviroguard. When signing up with the door to door salesman, I was assured my services would be in the evenings or on Sat. I have large dogs in the yard during the day and do not work in the town I live in. They have never come in the evening or Sat. When I complained I was told they could give me advance notice. This never happened either. After several error and missed appointments due to my dogs being in the yard I gave up and tried to cancel. This is when I discovered the 12m contract. I expressed my frustration and dissatisfaction with them agreeing to finish out my contract with the assurance they would set up the next appointment in the evening or on Sat. They came the next afternoon and did not give me advance notice. All I got was "sorry, nothing I can do about it." read more

Had a technician come out that knocked 3 wasps nests onto the concrete patio and porch. He continued to step on them and spread the mud in multiple spots and dragged it all over the driveway. When the issue was brought to their attention communication seemed to break down. I couldn't get on the phone with a manger, was told they were out of town and the employees had no idea when they would return. Pictures were sent proving the damage had been done and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to help fix the issue they caused. Someone came out to spray the patio with a hose but at this point the patio was completely stained. They basically said good luck, and were unwilling to fix the damage they had caused. Successful companies exist because of employees like Adrien Whitfield. We have had nothing less of an amazing experience with EnviroGuard. This has been our person experience: This is the 2nd time that Adrien Whitfield has come out to service our home. On both separate occasions he has provided above excellent service! He is not only thorough but he educates the customer to give insight and understanding to the current, and possible activity to take into account. I changed from my pest people to Envio. I save a little but i can never get a hold of them or they call me back the next day which is nice but i need to talk to a person then. I just need better communication with these guys. but the employees are soooo nice and great! From my experience with my other pest people, I am not 100% sure about this one. More ants and bugs come, and the wasps keep coming back. Again, very nice people just not my fav. read more
