One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Queens, Enthaice never disappoints! The staff is always great and the ambiance always welcoming and pleasant. It is a cozy restaurant that allows for outdoor eating when the weather is nice and warm. Service is prompt and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the calamari, which I always get. The sample appetizer for 2 was really great as well! For entrees, you can't go wrong with their pad thai, glass noodles, pineapple fried rice, or massaman curry. The Thai iced coffee is my go-to drink with the perfect balance of sweetness and strength. Very nice Thai restaurant in the Astoria section of Queens. I ordered the coconut shrimp and spring roll appetizers and both were absolutely delicious. For my main dish I ordered the Snapper over steamed vegetables. It was an entire red snapper crispy fried and seasoned perfectly. The sauce had just the right amount of spiciness and flavor. The service was great, the ambience was casual and if I'm ever in Astoria again I would def come back! I didn't have drinks but they had a full menu of beer, wine and cocktails. Some friends and I stopped by Enthaice on a friday evening for food and had a great experience. We wanted to change tables after sitting down and they were very accommodating. Their cocktails were so good I ordered three times! The inside is absolutely beautiful. The crab rangoon was really fun to eat, their crispy calamari was just okay. Enthaice is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. We've been inside a few times and with the pandemic, we order every few weeks. Fun fact: the lock screen on my phone has been a photo I took at Enthaice nearly four years ago, ever since! Just an artsy shot of the candle/water glass. The food is fantastic and flavorful and service when we would go in person was very attentive. The inside is on the small side so it's very cozy. Trendy, classy yet casual Thai spot that is definitely quite popular. For a table for 2 on a Saturday around 8pm, luckily we only had to wait 15 minutes. The menu is average in length. You'll find all the classics. The presentation is quite impressive, and the value for the price of curry and noodle dishes is very good. My green curry was full of great veggies, and the heat was spot on. Definitely a little bit of a tight space, but its packed-ness is understandable given the quality of the food. I had dinner here last night and it was a lovely time. I actually arrived with my party of 4 around 10:30pm and the staff rushed to accommodate us because their kitchen was closing soon. We ordered a bottle of Rosé with our 2 appetizers: crab rangoon and curry puffs. The curry puffs were good but the crab rangoon was spectacular. I hate how tiny they were, it was almost like a tease. For our entrees we had tamarind duck- perfectly cooked, nice crispy skin smothered in tamarind sauce all on a bed of mixed vegetables. Shrimp Green Curry- potent ginger flavor, nice variety of veggies, and the shrimp was not over cooked. Spicy basil fried rice with chicken- great flavor, lots of bell peppers, and the slices of chicken completed the dish nicely. Pad see eww with chicken- super good noodle dish, it was very flavorful, and cooked well done ( dark brown color) just the way I like it. The prices are reasonable and all the dishes were very tasty. The staff was helpful but they were definitely a little annoyed that we dined until a little past 11:30pm. I look forward to visiting again but may be for lunch next time. read more

Nice dinner spot for anyone from couples to small groups. When open in the summer, you get a nice little breeze from any angle. The entrees and appetizers were pretty sizable portions and not terribly priced. I got the fried tofu for an appetizer and the tofu red curry for my main meal. Note that I normally get red curry at thai restaurants to gauge the quality of the place. I was impressed with both. The curry had the right blend of spices. The fried tofu was cooked well too. Only minus point was that the wait staff should have been a slight bit more attentive when we were there. They seemed to forget to give me the rice after I received the curry, which was a bit strange to me. Also, probably because of that, the rice just felt a bit too sticky. Glad I came back! Me and a friend ordered the curry puffs, which were standard delicious, and I tried the pad kee mao again. So Enthaice uses soy sauce in the dish, and more sugar then I tend to prefer- but it's not bad! It's definitely a different flavor from a version that uses more fish sauce. We chatted with the waiter for a bit after I did my usual thing of asking for it very very spicy (and they did a decent job on the spice- it won't burn you but if you can convince them it's a good heat). They do make it sweeter to appeal to the area, but again, it's not an overly sweet pad kee mao, it doesn't lose those other underling flavors. It did come with a crisp on top- a potato chip. Like the lemon wedge in my last review, they seem to like throwing an odd addition into the dish haha! I would definitely come back. ETA: We weren't a fan of the spring rolls, perhaps they were too vegetable heavy instead of having a bit more meat. Ordered Green curry with chicken, be warned it's pretty spicy, sirracha fried rice, crispy spring rolls, and spare ribs. First time trying Enthaice, came here for a date and the food was delicious. My boyfriend bought me here to try the food and I have no regrets coming here. They have different spice levels and it does tell you on the menu how spicy certain foods are. This is legit thai food, so I do recommend anyone to come here. They served our food pretty fast too. Food was absolutely delicious. Showing some love for one of my favorite Thai places. I've been coming here for years, and as many people mentioned, the interior is beautiful and it's definitely a very cute date spot. Since the pandemic, I was ordering food occasionally through DoorDash but they reopened with outdoor dining and I've been twice since. They have the tables distanced apart, all of the staff wear masks and I've watched them meticulously sanitize the tables after each patron. They also have hand sanitizer available. The food here is consistently delicious, IMHO. I would agree that it's not the world's most "authentic" Thai (we're not in Bangkok, - or even Jackson Heights/Elmhurt - folks, relax) but the flavors are great and the dishes are beautifully plated in addition to well-prepared. The service has always been wonderful for me. The wait staff are all lovely and attentive, and I can honestly say pre and (not quite) post - COVID, I've always felt well taken care of by the staff. Enthaice Thai kitchen is enticing indeed. A lovely new restaurant in Astoria. The first thing that captured my attention is the chandelier that hangs in the middle of the restaurant. The arrangement of mugs, cups and saucers are artistically captivating. This centerpiece invokes conversation. The wall has your grandmother's kitchen cabinet decoration that gives a homey but very hip vibe. I came here for lunch and was impressed by the prompt and efficient service I received. The staff appeared genuinely cordial and attentive. The lunch special comes with an appetizer, soup or salad and an entrée. I had the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. It was crispy from the outside and creamy on the inside. For the entrée, I had the Thai basil pork, it was delicious! The dishes were all plated beautifully, considering this was only the lunch special. I will definitely go back here for dinner to try the chef's specialties. Yum yum yum!!! Welcome to the neighborhood, Enthaice. (And what a clever name.) We were greeted at the door and seated by the most friendly host and server. He politely explained that it would be cash only because it was their soft opening. Our water glasses were filled 6 times before our order was taken, but it had only been five minutes. They were so attentive! We ordered the summer rolls and the curry puffs. The flavors were delicious! I was disappointed because the menu said 8 summer rolls per order and we only got 6. But who knows, maybe they were just cut thicker for our table. We got Jungle curry with pork and Mussamun curry with chicken. Both were tasty and fresh. Wow. In the middle of eating a delivery meal from here and had to stop to write this review. The food here is so good! We ordered a number of items: pineapple fried rice with roast duck, tofu pad Thai, vegetable green curry, vegetable spring rolls, Thai iced tea, and Thai iced coffee. First off, all the food items are fresh. All the vegetables are fresh! Everything tasted great. Nothing was subpar. And everything held up well through delivery. But the roast duck on the pineapple fried rice was above and beyond! Wow, this duck is probably one of the best roast ducks I've had. I also always order tofu pad thais, but the tofus are usually extremely dried out, but wow...the tofu here was fresh and delicious. They definitely don't skimp out! Their drinks are also decent. We ordered the Mango Fish (entire fish, sub sticky rice) and it was PERFECTION. I don't even know how to recommend that enough. Chicken satay- flavorful and juicy. Not dry like at most Thai restaurants. The peanut sauce was good af. I'm a super foody and don't play when it comes to my stomac. The appetizer was so good we ordered another mid entree . And they give you ample sauces for the dumplings, spring rolls and crab Rangoon. I hate fighting for extra sauce. The main corse of Chu Chee duck (I think) was awesome too. Not too spicy. Desert cream brûlée cheesecake was to die for. The food was so good I want to go back tomorrow. If you're into ribs that literally have the meat so tender it falls off the bone then this place is for you. The sausages were spicy and delicious. In hindsight, it was only $23, which should have been a red flag for low quality steak. I've been ordering from Enthaice for about three years and they have never once disappointed me. They are hands down EASILY the best Thai restaurant in Astoria. Their peanut curry is probably my favorite takeout dish of all time. I always get it with tofu, which can be iffy at some places but Enthaice knows how to cook it. Everyone that I have taken here immediately become big fans. I usually order through Yelp, and the food always arrives quickly and you can tell that it's fresh (like I said, never a bad experience). While my preferred method is takeout, I've eaten at the restaurant quite a few times (pre-covid and post-covid) and it's surprisingly VERY nice there. The restaurant has really cute decor and they have lots of outdoor seating. I sound like an idiot saying this but the ambiance is A+ there. read more

The hostess at the front was rude and not very welcoming and the guy who served us was hurried and had zero patience. I've walked by this place so many times but finally decided to give it a try recently and I'm so glad I did! Atmosphere: from the entrance to our table, this place is decorated like the fancy upscale Thai restaurant with 5-star service that it is. The waitress made sure our water glass never went less than half full and everything came out in a timely manner despite the restaurant being basically fully packed. Food: We had the app sampler which had a variety of 4 different appetizers and each were delicious. I also had the Tom Yum fried rice which sounded amazing but the fried rice left me wishing it had just a little bit more Tom Yum flavor. Number of visits: 4 I was ecstatic to find a good local Thai spot based off of reviews and I seriously did not want this place to disappoint so I keep coming back, mostly because I liked the pad see ew (minus the beef) and curry puffs which are my ultimate go tos in any Thai restaurant. I'm a pretty loyal consumer so when I find something I love, I do stick to it. Ambiance: Absolutely adorbs! It is a romantic candlelight interior that is great for a date night and during the warmer seasons, they have seating outside which is super cute. Reservations: Negative. Go before the big crowds during lunch and dinner around 630, you'll minimize the wait time. Groups: You tend to wait a little longer for tables to be adjusted in order to accommodate your group. It isn't recommend to go with a group larger than 6, but it is possible. If you have a large group, definitely go in advance to grab a seat, even if it's just one from your party to hold down the fort. Food: It's a hit or a miss which SUCKS. The curry puff and pad see ew tend to be consistent, but the portion size of entrees really varies. There are days where we get a lot of noodles, and others where there's just too much beef, but it depends on the chef. There are several times where they serve a super soupy curry and others when it is a thick consistency, which is a perfect rice pour-over. Service: HORRIBLE. I think my fourth visit was when I decided to give up on this place. The first time, I assumed the neglect was because we were sitting outside and it was difficult to navigate through the crowd to attend to us outside, but it took us 20 minutes to place our order. Second and third time, not memorable at all. Last time - waters weren't being refilled, weren't even offered a dessert menu, took forever to even pay the bill AND gratuity is included for groups of 5+.
