    laab nuer
    Brian S.

its been a very long time since ive cried eating something and i was trying my absolute hardest to hold back tears but this laab nuer defeated me. the portion is big and i wasnt sure how to feel about the many steamed / boiled veggies at first but i very quickly learned to appreciate them after a spoonful of the minced beef. service is nice and they didnt make me feel bad about crying by telling me "even i cant handle that dish", though i was still kind of dumbfounded that my water glass was so small and i had no milk or anything. immediately got ice cream after.

Enthaice has quickly become my favorite thai restaurant in Astoria. Food and service are excellent. Firstly, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, creating an authentic and calm atmosphere. There is outdoor seating on the side as well. The chicken added to our Pad Khee Mao was perfectly seasoned and well cooked, not dry or overcooked like many thai places do. The mango sticky rice is a MUST try! Our server was super attentive and friendly throughout our dinner and dessert.

Coconut ice cream over sticky rice

The food here might be my favorite Thai food in NYC and I've tried a ton of places! It was my first time here so I've only had a few dishes. We shared the Thai sausage and it was pretty spicy! Very flavorful for sure. I got the chicken pad Thai (I know safe choice) and it was perfect! Not too sweet not too salty. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the flavor was so balanced! My husband got the green curry with crispy duck and it has a lovely kick to it and it's on the sweet side which I prefer! Very flavorful and the duck was cooked to perfection!! We got the coconut ice cream over sticky rice and it was again incredibly balanced flavors not too sweet and hit the spot! We loved everything!!! The decor for Christmas was so stinking cute too. The service was above and beyond our server kept checking in and filled our glasses if we needed water. It was very much Thai level service they are known for their incredible customer service and kindness and you can 100% feel that here! Highly recommend!!

A great Thai restaurant in Astoria! A great place for lunch specials and coming with friends Food: they have all the Thai staples on the menu! I ordered the drunken noodles and it was very good! I got mine with tofu and it came with a healthy serving of veggies and tofu! Ambience: there is an upscale vibe in the restaurant! I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded at all! Service: good service- they were a bit quick with everything though so I felt a bit rushed while at the restaurant! Price: very reasonably priced especially given the portion sizes

Som tam, tamarind duck, pork laab, shrimp pad thai, and chicken pad thai were all really delicious. The portions were generous so everyone in the group could enjoy the food, and the service was friendly. If you were a Thai food lover, you would be satisfied. FYI: Gratuity 18% is already included.

Ambiance (5/5): I loved the cute design with teapots and flowers. There's both indoor and enclosed outdoor dining. Brightly lit and open space. The tables felt spaced apart that we weren't eating on top of each other. During lunch hours on a weekend, there were only 4 tables of guests so there wasn't much noise. Service (5/5): There was more than enough wait staff to dining guest ratio that we were served by multiple individuals at lightening pace! They were very friendly and welcoming.  Massamam Curry + Roti (5/5): There was so much flavor to the curry and a creaminess that complimented wonderfully with the fresh roti! I could definitely been happy to have had this dish as my main.  Khao Soi (4/5) - this classic northern Thailand dish of Chiang Mai resembled the same taste profile as that of my visit. The broth was rich, blasts of flavorful, and creamy. My only qualm was the unwieldly size of the two chicken drumsticks that made it a little difficult to hold and eat. However, the drums were not completely flavored through due to the thickness. The price point to portion was immensely worth the price.  Pad Kee Mao (5/5): There's a lovely kick to the dish but also dynamic flavor to it. You can definitely taste the wide range of herbs and seasonings used.  I definitely plan on ordering from here again!!

Lychee Thai iced tea and pineapple Thai iced tea
    Michelle G.

We were in the neighborhood and were looking for a fun, drink and saw that there were some great Yelp reviews for the lychee Thai iced tea. We ordered one Lychee Thai iced tea and also saw that they got a pineapple Thai iced tea. Both were good - personally, the lychee was my favorite and I thought it blended with the Thai tea better but if you like pineapple flavor, then the other drink is good too. We'll have to come back to try the food. Service was friendly and good vibes and we got our drinks quickly.

Sitting outdoors between the main and side entrances. We have lychee iced teas, Sauteed String Beans & Eggplant, and Peanut Curry.

I don't usually review places unless I've been there at least twice, but this one is well-earned! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was accomodating to dietary needs. The outdoor seating is also cute and much appreciated since Covid levels are quite high right now. I brought my friend here for a farewell dinner since she's moving away. We both have dietary needs and I called ahead to make sure they could accomodate. We really appreciated that their menu marks vegetarian and gluten free options. Plus the staff graciously worked with us on my allergies to garlic and onion. Our server was very attentive and sweet. She made sure we didn't feel rushed to leave since we were taking a while to talk and eat. We asked her to take a photo of us and she went out of her way to take several. The food was also great! They had a lot of vegan options, some which I hadn't seen before at Thai restaurants. The prices are reasonable, even competitive compared to others in the area. We got lychee thai teas and split the summer rolls, subbing the sauce for plum sauce. I got the Sauteed String Beans & Eggplant and my friend got the Peanut Curry. The dishes were well-presented and the portions were generous. Make sure you note your spice level because their default curry spice may surprise you I'll definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely last night for us

    Thai Iced Tea (~$4)
    Aya E.

Ordered: Thai Iced Tea (~$4) Combo Appetizer for 2 (~$13): chicken & shrimp dumpling, chicken satay, crab rangoon and spring rolls Pad Sea Ew with Chicken (~$12): stir-fried flat noodles with Chinese broccoli and egg in sweet brown sauce Pad Khee Mao with Beef (~$13): stir-fried flat noodles with egg, basil, onion, carrot, string beans, bamboo shoot, Thai chili and bell pepper Aya's take: Finally trying Enthaice! The Combo Appetizer for 2 is a must try! Nice variety and everything on the plate gave me a little taste of Thailand. Both noodle dishes were bursting with flavors, the noodles were cooked well, and the chicken/beef in the respective dishes took these dishes to the next level. The spice levels are definitely manageable but the Thai Iced Tea helps mellow everything down too. Solid Thai food in Astoria!

    Green Curry

Came here on a weekday around 5-6pm, and the place was not very crowded. There is outdoor dining and indoor dining but considering the beautiful weather outside we decided to do outdoor dining. There are a few tables outside lining the side of the restaurant with high and low tables. The Thai iced tea didn't disappoint. He got the red sangria. (I'm not a big fan of sangrias, but he liked it). I wanted to try something new so I got the Thai beef stew and requested it to not be spicy and he got the green curry (mildly spicy). We ordered the crispy fried calamari as the appetizer and it was so good and quite filling. I wasn't able to finish my beef stew afterwards! Service was wonderful, the servers kept coming by to refill our waters and asked if our food was good. (It was!) Around 8pm-ish when we left, more people were sitting down and the outdoor dining area was filling up. Not a lot of people sitting indoors but can't blame them when the weather is so nice outside.

    Chicken skewers

We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy so we had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated but it was totally worth the wait. We started out with the chicken satay and curry puffs. The curry puffs were so delicious I was upset that we were sharing. For the main dish I went with a mixed vegetables and chicken dish that was very flavorful and filling. My friend decided to be basic and went with the chicken pad thai, unlike most Thai places it came with dark meat chicken on the side. I tried it and it was honestly the best dish out of the 3 and they were all pretty good. The service was very friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. Next time we come here I'm definitely going with the pad thai.

    Jungle Curry
    Shaji K.

Recently visited this popular Thai spot in Queens. Early Friday afternoon, not many people inside so was able to get a table immediately. Started off with a draft beer ($6ish) - which came right when we were ready to order food. For the main course, went for their Mixed Vegetable Jungle Curry ($12). The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the broth was spot on, not too salty and a huge kick of spice. Overall good value for the money, as the bowl is incredibly filling, even without meat. Servers here came by often, even when the rest of the tables filled up for lunch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, with a warm and inviting decor.

Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: Dark, Date Night Food was great- i LOVED the mango salad and the duck dishes are so tender and delicious.

The tofu from the curry and chicken from the pad see ew was obviously reheated/recooked several times. I absolutely loved the curry but I made a mistake coming close to closing. I 100% would come back closer to opening. I'm a big fan of drunken noodles so the noodles and vegetables itself were great. The curry was also fantastic with the vegetables (minus the tofu). The mackerel in the chu chee should've had more sauce but it was good. There should have been another mackerel since it wasn't very filling. The Thai tea was very nice - I enjoyed swirling toix the condensed milk and rest of the drink to create the nice flavor. The vibes are that of a holl in the wall off of main Street and there is a partly torn down 3 side wall where you check in. The ambiance is very nice and small, I enjoyed it.

The kitchen here doesn't shy away from traditional flavors--the food is unapologetically spicy and savory, avoiding the "overly sweet" profile that many Thai spots fall into. Here's the breakdown of what we tried: Tom Yum Goong: This was the star of the show. It had a sharp, clean heat and a perfect citrus punch without that syrupy finish you often find elsewhere. Crispy Pork Belly: Exactly what you want it to be. The skin was incredibly crunchy, and the meat remained tender, seasoned perfectly to highlight the savory pork flavor. Fried Fish: Deep-fried to perfection with a light, crispy exterior. The sauce paired chili and fish sauce with fresh mango. Crab Fried Rice: Generous with the crab meat and wonderfully "wok-hei" (charred) and salty. It wasn't bogged down by sweet soy sauce, allowing the delicate crab to shine. The only real sweetness of the night came from the Mango Sticky Rice, which was the perfect, cooling end to a very spicy meal. The mango was ripe and the coconut milk was rich, providing the only sugary reprieve of the evening. Service was so nice. The hostess and sever were so nice and friendly. The severer felt like a Thai uncle, he made jokes, gave us napkins, joked with my child. It felt so familial. If you want authentic, spicy Thai food that prioritizes salt, spice, and acid over sweetness, this is your spot.

Kam Rai Thai has a very cozy and warm atmosphere with fake flowers decor everywhere. Street parking can be hard at times and involve circling around a few times. Food menu can be accessed by QR code and paper menu for drinks. The first time I visited Kam Rai Thai, I shared the papaya salad with my friend and had the Pad woon sen with shrimp. The papaya salad with green papaya, string bean, tomato and roasted peanut with spicy lime juice was refreshing and light. The Pad woon sen has sauteed glass noodle, egg, onion, scallion, cabbage, celery, carrot, tomato and sesame oil. The second time I visited, I had the Pad see ew with beef. The Pad see ew has sauteed wide noodles with Chinese broccoli, black soy sauce, and egg. Both dishes were very flavorful, delicious, delectable, and appetizing. The dishes were very filling and there was a good proportion of noodles and protein. I've had the Rainfall in Loei and Fang Martini Time, both are really good drinks and not overly strong. We shared the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was good. The mango was very fresh and the sticky rice with coconut milk was sweet, but not overly. My friends ordered the Kopi De Trang, Spicy Maesai Plum, Rainfall in Loei, Thai ice tea lychee, pad see ew with chicken, pad kee mao beef (non spicy), and khao soi gai confit. I ordered a pad kee mao beef with a spice level of 2 to go. It is a great option to have a spicy and non spicy option for pad kee mao. Everyone enjoyed their food. Staff are very friendly and the food come out very quickly after ordering. There is a 5% discount if you pay with cash and a 2.95% surcharge for credit cards. Kam Rai Thai serves authentic Thai food and I can't wait to come back. It is a great place for friends to catch up.
