I have walked past this location many times. Today I popped in, the food and drinks were wonderful. Enough to take home as leftovers. My drink was not overwhelming, but very tasty to enjoy. Enthaice has quickly become my favorite thai restaurant in Astoria. Food and service are excellent. Firstly, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, creating an authentic and calm atmosphere. There is outdoor seating on the side as well. The chicken added to our Pad Khee Mao was perfectly seasoned and well cooked, not dry or overcooked like many thai places do. its been a very long time since ive cried eating something and i was trying my absolute hardest to hold back tears but this laab nuer defeated me. the portion is big and i wasnt sure how to feel about the many steamed / boiled veggies at first but i very quickly learned to appreciate them after a spoonful of the minced beef. service is nice and they didnt make me feel bad about crying by telling me "even i cant handle that dish", though i was still kind of dumbfounded that my water glass was so small and i had no milk or anything. immediately got ice cream after. read more

The food here might be my favorite Thai food in NYC and I've tried a ton of places! It was my first time here so I've only had a few dishes. We shared the Thai sausage and it was pretty spicy! Very flavorful for sure. I got the chicken pad Thai (I know safe choice) and it was perfect! Not too sweet not too salty. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the flavor was so balanced! My husband got the green curry with crispy duck and it has a lovely kick to it and it's on the sweet side which I prefer! Very flavorful and the duck was cooked to perfection!! Stopped in for lunch specials on the hottest day of the year. It was nice and cool inside, with a fan mounted on the wall providing a light breeze. The server poured water while my guest and I studied the menu. We each got lunch specials at a great price. She started with a salad, full of diverse fresh veggies and served with a pleasing peanut dressing. I had the soup, a clear broth chock full of delicious vegetables. I burned my mouth but didn't care; this is wholesome, heartwarming soup. The entrees were delicious too. I had chicken pad prik sod, it hit the table with steam still rising gently off the fried egg. Classic Thai flavors from the delectable chicken, peppers, and onions. I saved some rice for the end and it was a perfect portion size. Would eat again. My companion opted for the pad krapaw, and what a sight to behold! There's something truly satisfying about that fried egg perched comfortably on the rice. The krapaw features minced pork or chicken cooked with peppers, onions, and basil, in basil sauce. It has some of the same components as the prik sod, but the taste of basil and the minced meat's mouthfeel inform a very different, and very enjoyable, profile for this dish. Not quite stuffed, we ordered the fried ice cream for dessert. They set it on fire before your eyes for a bit of well-earned theatrics. The fried dough shell was an amazing counterpoint to the perfectly frozen vanilla ice cream. Think of the journey each vanilla bean went through to end up in this cold dairy treat. Served with berries and a small dollop of whipped cream, this delightful treat somehow didn't feel overly heavy. Indeed, on such a hot day, it gave me life. Service was great and I found the decorations to be quite pleasing, including the chandelier fixture made of teacups and silverware. Shocked that I haven't reviewed this place before! I have been here a bunch of times as I used to live in the area and still come here from time to time. The food is always consistent! And besides the food, that is the main thing I love about this place. The ambiance is super chill and inviting. The staff is great and provide attentive and excellent service each time I have come. Food and drinks recs: 1. (If you like Mezcal) Get their recommended cocktail, forgot the name of it, but it has mezcal and pineapple. Very delicious. 2. If you like beer, get the Singha. It is apparently the most popular beer in Thailand. 3. For food I highly recommend the broccoli with garlic and vegetables dish. And add shrimp! You're welcome. 4. The spring rolls and calamari as appetizers you cannot go wrong with. Also the veggie dumplings have an insane plum sauce they come with. Soooo good, elevates the dish. A must. Ambiance (5/5): I loved the cute design with teapots and flowers. There's both indoor and enclosed outdoor dining. Brightly lit and open space. The tables felt spaced apart that we weren't eating on top of each other. During lunch hours on a weekend, there were only 4 tables of guests so there wasn't much noise. Service (5/5): There was more than enough wait staff to dining guest ratio that we were served by multiple individuals at lightening pace! They were very friendly and welcoming.  Massamam Curry + Roti (5/5): There was so much flavor to the curry and a creaminess that complimented wonderfully with the fresh roti! I could definitely been happy to have had this dish as my main.  Khao Soi (4/5) - this classic northern Thailand dish of Chiang Mai resembled the same taste profile as that of my visit. The broth was rich, blasts of flavorful, and creamy. My only qualm was the unwieldly size of the two chicken drumsticks that made it a little difficult to hold and eat. However, the drums were not completely flavored through due to the thickness. The price point to portion was immensely worth the price.  Pad Kee Mao (5/5): There's a lovely kick to the dish but also dynamic flavor to it. We ordered one Lychee Thai iced tea and also saw that they got a pineapple Thai iced tea. Both were good - personally, the lychee was my favorite and I thought it blended with the Thai tea better but if you like pineapple flavor, then the other drink is good too. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was accomodating to dietary needs. The outdoor seating is also cute and much appreciated since Covid levels are quite high right now. I brought my friend here for a farewell dinner since she's moving away. We both have dietary needs and I called ahead to make sure they could accomodate. We really appreciated that their menu marks vegetarian and gluten free options. Plus the staff graciously worked with us on my allergies to garlic and onion. Our server was very attentive and sweet. She made sure we didn't feel rushed to leave since we were taking a while to talk and eat. We asked her to take a photo of us and she went out of her way to take several. The food was also great! They had a lot of vegan options, some which I hadn't seen before at Thai restaurants. The prices are reasonable, even competitive compared to others in the area. We got lychee thai teas and split the summer rolls, subbing the sauce for plum sauce. I got the Sauteed String Beans & Eggplant and my friend got the Peanut Curry. Came here on a weekday around 5-6pm, and the place was not very crowded. There is outdoor dining and indoor dining but considering the beautiful weather outside we decided to do outdoor dining. There are a few tables outside lining the side of the restaurant with high and low tables. The Thai iced tea didn't disappoint. He got the red sangria. (I'm not a big fan of sangrias, but he liked it). I wanted to try something new so I got the Thai beef stew and requested it to not be spicy and he got the green curry (mildly spicy). We ordered the crispy fried calamari as the appetizer and it was so good and quite filling. I wasn't able to finish my beef stew afterwards! Service was wonderful, the servers kept coming by to refill our waters and asked if our food was good. (It was!) Around 8pm-ish when we left, more people were sitting down and the outdoor dining area was filling up. The duck was great, tasted like a mix between Cantonese and Thai flavors- I think most or all of their ducks are going to be good choices based on pictures alone. The Mango fish is a deep fried red snapper served with a bunch of mango salad / assorted sliced veggies as a giant garnish. This was nice but I think there was more fried batter than there was fish, so most of my bites were just airy crisp lol. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy so we had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated but it was totally worth the wait. We started out with the chicken satay and curry puffs. The curry puffs were so delicious I was upset that we were sharing. For the main dish I went with a mixed vegetables and chicken dish that was very flavorful and filling. My friend decided to be basic and went with the chicken pad thai, unlike most Thai places it came with dark meat chicken on the side. I tried it and it was honestly the best dish out of the 3 and they were all pretty good. The service was very friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. Recently visited this popular Thai spot in Queens. Early Friday afternoon, not many people inside so was able to get a table immediately. Started off with a draft beer ($6ish) - which came right when we were ready to order food. For the main course, went for their Mixed Vegetable Jungle Curry ($12). The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the broth was spot on, not too salty and a huge kick of spice. Overall good value for the money, as the bowl is incredibly filling, even without meat. Over the years I've visited, but this night was extra special. My fiancé and I had our first date here two years prior. Although they don't take reservations I called day of to see if we could get the same table we sat at. They kindly obliged with a 15 minute grace. The service here is always warm and efficient. The food was as usual solid. They brought us a complimentary glass of champagne with a strawberry, so thoughtful. The dumplings are a hearty appetizer but they weren't warmed through. The sausage appetizer was large and not his favorite. The three pork chops were perfectly cooked and finished quickly. Always love my pad see ew and pineapple chicken fried rice with cashews, yum. Pretty good Thai dinner here. Easy to find a table on a weeknight without reservations. Shared the crab rangoon appetizer with my friend, which I loved and would recommend - love that cream cheese inside. Got the green curry with beef, which I gobbled up completely. It was just a little bare when it came to protein portion, so I wish it had much more beef added. Otherwise, it was very satisfying and tasty. My friend enjoyed her massaman curry as well. This is my second experience at a Thai restaurant, where the interior decor is beautiful and that's it; the praise literally stops there. Service was spotty, and their restaurant policy about ordering food sucks. Enthaice is a stones throw away from my friend's crib and one night, we were hungry and looking for a healthy-ish option. We came here cuz the reviews seemed pretty good, and the interior decor was impressive. It's a small space, with cute decor, warm woods, dimly lit; definitely a cute date spot. However, my woes began when we started to order. Our apps were the grilled mussels, and the Roti in curry Mussamun sauce. Entrees, my friend opted for a fried rice with chicken and I had the duck salad and I asked for the spicy sauce to be put on the side. Unfortunately, according to the waiter, putting the sauce on the side wasn't an option. Perplexed, I asked to speak with either a manager or the Chef and he said they weren't available. I let it go, wasn't gonna make a scene there, but really though?? First time I've ordered a salad anywhere and was told that putting the dressing on the side wasn't an option. Food came out shortly afterwards. For me, the spicy lime dressing was as I expected; too sour for my liking and just tasted weird. I just ate some pieces of duck, which actually tasted good. Their interior may be very nice but they need to work on the food and being to accommodate their customer's requests. It's not like my simple request of having salad dressing on the side was outrageous and overly complicated. For me, there's better Thai options in Astoria. I won't be coming back. read more

My favorite from this were the crab rangoon. It was perfectly fried, light and crispy. I really appreciated all the different sauces that came with this dish. Some of items were a bit bland, like the chicken & shrimp dumplings, but were saved by sauces. Lemongrass Pork Chop: grilled pork chop with lemongrass with steamed vegetables and white rice. This came with two big pieces of pork chop. Wasn't fan of the presentation with the brown gravy sauce smeared on the plate but it was a yummy dish nonetheless. Chicken Pad Thai: thin rice noodles with peanuts, bean sprouts, scallion, egg and bean curd. This was my favorite dish from our meal. Noodles were cooked right and was slightly sweet. Fried Ice cream: scoop of vanilla ice cream deep fried with strawberries and blue berries. This was flambéed at the table. Fried and flambéed seems almost redundant but made for a really striking presentation. I wished it had had more fruit otherwise highly recommend this dish. We ordered our first appetizer, and , one spring roll in we found a bug running around our food. When we told our server about this and she just took away the plate and went back into the kitchen. She came back to tell us that they were making us a new plate, with not a single apology yet, we told her that we did not want it, paid the rest of our bill with no other compensation, and proceeded to leave. A couple of friends were in town, so I treated them with Thai food for dinner. The reason I took them to Enthaice was solely because they have a wide variety of beer both on tap and bottled. We got there before the evening rush, so we got seated right away. We ordered beer and cocktails to start, then we ordered 2 appetizers, Papaya Salad and Hot Pot Dumplings. I wasn't keen on Hot Pot Dumplings since the fillings tasted a little off. Papaya Salad, on the other hand, was very tasty. As for entreés, we only ordered two dishes to share which were Tom Yum Koong Fried Rice and Deep Fried Red Snapper Topped with Mango Salad. The service is the worst I have ever experienced in fifteen years of eating ther. We just ordered four appetisers. Server came asking if we are ready to order our main courses. Appetisers came put on one end of the of four adults and a three years old in a high chair. No i had to ask for plates to eat the Appetisers. Main course came, I had to ask for bigger plates to eat. The server was so confused that I asked for bigger plates the our main courses. In the meantime they all stand up next to the bar watching. I asked for the bill. I couldn't be there any longer.
