Steak tartare is a must order item! So tasty! And the croquettes in the background were great too

Came here for a girls night while I was in town and was so pleasantly delighted by everything we tried. Atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, but the food was rightfully the star of the show. We started with a bottle of Sancerre, and then just ordered a bunch of appetizers. Our favorites were the pierogis, steak tartare, bacon wrapped dates, and the mixed greens salad.

Third time at Encina's brunch within one month. Blue corn pancakes are absolutely incredible. Also tried the turkey sandwich- delicious, pork belly and grits- also super delicious.

They have the BEST pancakes in Dallas!!! Love their brunch! And great cocktails that are creative and not too sweet.

Five stars from the moment we stepped in. We had reservations made as I was able to celebrate my birthday here. Everything was remarkable. The apps? Remarkable. Corn bread with a savory and sweet topping? Yes please. They add two dollops on top. One is sorghum butter, the other is whipped feta. They were the perfect addition to the sweet cornbread. We also ordered the brisket croquets which my husband absolutely devoured. For mains: I ordered the braised short rib that sat on a bed of asparagus and mashed potatoes. Oh my word. Oh. My. Word. I will dream about this short rib for years to come. It was phenomenal in its tenderness, flavor, presentation, everything. By far the best I've ever had! My husband ordered the pork chops and said the same about his meal. I even have it a taste and couldn't believe how delectable the flaky crust was. Wow. Cocktails: I had the cactus jack which was light and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The lemon drop martini is also a good choice. My birthday dessert - YUM!!!! Bread pudding with vanilla ice cream, caramelized pecans, and strawberries. Absolutely delicious! Ambiance: small interior with a covered patio with more seating. Recommend reservations here! They had a dedicated parking lot on-site. I couldn't have had a better birthday dinner and will recommend to everyone!

I went here for a private event and it was a nice cozy restaurant. I had a squash soup which was so good and I also enjoyed the waygu short ribs. I can't wait to come back and try this place.

I came first thing on a Saturday and got immediate seating at the bar for two. Food came out quickly and these pancakes are delicious! I believe it was a stack of 3 and they also come with 2 slices of bacon. They do have vegetarian and non alcoholic drink options. The bartenders tweaked their nojito to swap the pineapples for strawberries and it was refreshing! It was bright and lovely inside with several TVs showing different channels. It was a great way to start my morning!

Great place to visit in bishop arts. The pancakes were amazing. I suggest visiting early as it does it packed. They also accept reservations. The location and restaurant is medium size with a decent parking lot. Highly suggest giving this place a chance.

Great experience! I recommend making a reservation if you can. We walked in and the floor was all booked for reservations and we had to be seated at the bar. When we sat at the bar, there were only a few seats as well. I noticed parties being turned away because they did not have any reservations. Service was great, kept checking in. Food: I ordered the pork belly and cheesy grits and it did not disappoint! The pork belly was moist yet crispy and went well with the grits. The sunny side up eggs were cooked so that the yolk wasnt all the way done. It does have a bit of a kick so if you are sensitive to spicy, that is something to consider. The dish overall was super heavy. Butterscotch pakcakes - moist and flavorful. Definitely recommend

Had brunch here today, service was excellent. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu, and was very attentive while not making us feel rushed. We got the French Toast for the table, it was easily the best bite of the meal. I got the Breakfast Burger, which was tasty but enormous. The patty was a bit salty but the acid of the pickles cut it nicely. The side salad was good. Overall, solid brunch, would return.

So nice, I had to go thrice in a two week span. lol. The blue corn pancakes were delectable. You receive three fluffy, tasty pancakes and a side of bacon which was perfect side. A lil salty to cut the sweet. The coffee was delicious as well with a hint of cocoa. The wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Cool vibe.

Cactus Jack-I will say the Dill in the drink was a different taste but went well with the my sandwich.

Went here on a Sunday during French hours. Did not even think to have a reservation for myself in a girlfriend after church but luckily there were seating at the bar. The bartenders were great at notifying my friend and I of what are some of the top choice menus that are there from their drinks to their foods. Now I will say on a Sunday the place is amazingly packed so get there early and try to make a reservation. The food was amazing We had great company a couple who is there from Finland celebrating their birthday was present and also shared some information about the food and drinks that they ordered. There's enough seating open area bright airy, I will definitely be coming back to try some other items.

On the other side I've never had a lobster roll before but this genuinely has no flavor and has experienced some serious shrinkflation when compared to other pictures here on yelp of it. The fries were great though. The dessert also was nothing memorable and was a very basic bread pudding that could've been warmer. We made our reservation about a month in advance and had no issues at all with booking. The process was quick and easy. Leading up to our reservation, however, there was some confusion regarding the menu being served during our reserved time. After calling ahead, we were told there would be a children's menu available and that we could order from either the brunch or dinner menu. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we found that only the brunch menu was available. Since this was our first visit, several of us had already looked through the online menus and picked out dinner items we wanted to try, so it was disappointing to have to pivot, especially for those in our group who aren't really breakfast food people. Thankfully, we were still able to find dishes everyone enjoyed, and the food itself was exceptional. Standouts for our table included the dip (definitely add the crab!), the steak and eggs, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. We also ordered the oxtail hash, but it was a little too spicy for our mom due to the jerk seasoning, which wasn't clearly advertised on the menu. Thankfully, the issue was addressed quickly and professionally. The true highlight of our experience was the service. From the hostess to servers simply passing by our table, everyone was warm and friendly. Our server, Cooper, was absolutely fantastic. His smile, energy, and sense of urgency had us laughing because he practically ran to grab whatever we needed, yet never missed a beat. We had a few feral children in our group, and he handled them with so much patience and kindness, even entertaining their off-the-wall requests. It was also great seeing the manager actively walking the floor and checking on tables throughout service. This was our first visit, but based on the food and especially the hospitality, we will definitely be back, next time for dinner service!

No. But what has us coming back is their consistency and attention to detail. The space is gorgeous and each room brings a different vibe to the dining experience. We were sat in the darkest of the rooms that was very romantic, and thankfully the music wasn't too loud. When we were seated we found a frame on the table holding a message congratulations us on our anniversary, with our names included. It was very sweet! Our server was prompt, attentive, and very charming. She asked us questions about ourselves and also gave great recommendations throughout the night. The drinks were good! However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). I ordered the salmon cooked medium, but it arrived slightly overcooked. My husband requested a medium steak, but it came out medium rare in the center while somehow being medium well on the outside. The meatballs felt like they were missing something flavor-wise, though the calamari was good. The sides -- mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes -- were also a bit underwhelming. My daughter's lobster pasta was just okay as well. On a positive note, the service was solid and the Old Hollywood cocktail was perfection.
