December 2025 menu in my pics because wow that was way more expensive than we saw on other menu pics...and wayyy more expensive than LA sushi. It was pretty good but those prices are very high... This was my first time trying a crab Rangoon and I was pleasantly surprised. The items outside of sushi looked and smelled good in person.

The sushi here is amazing, such great flavors and the lychee martini was amazing. I love the interior look of the restaurant and the server was incredibly kind and responsive to any needs. The bathroom is also gorgeous haha for the girls, great ambience.

I came here for the Wednesday night ayce deal which entails a select menu for $25. Overall I think this is a pretty good deal, I certainly don't think the sushi is the best in the world, however, for a bottomless deal I certainly felt I got my moneys worth and was satisfied with the quality and flavor. The standouts from the ayce menu for me were the salmon and crab crispy rice bites, rock roll, and dragon roll. I also thought the drink menu had enticing options and we started with a delicious lychee martini. I would recommend getting in a reservation or arriving right at opening for seating as this place was PACKED on a Wednesday night. The inside ambiance is stunning, very moody, with an upscale Japanese restaurant feel. We did not have a reservation and sat at the first come first serve communal table, but still felt like we had our own privacy. Our server was super sweet and attentive to make sure we got multiple rounds of sushi in, we also did not feel rushed at all which I appreciated!

Ok here's the honest truth about this place. Have eaten here twice and once stayed after hours when it turns into a club, The dining area is huge so you will always be able to get a table which is nice. The food is decent. I wasn't disappointed in anything we ordered. I will say I was a bit sticker shocked over the bill. Two adults and two kids the bill was over $400. I didn't get anything to crazy and ordered few drinks. Service was good until this large party cane in and they got a bit overwhelmed and I had to chase my waitress down. I'm not saying this is a skip but you've been informed.

Came here for dinner to celebrate our friend's birthday. While the food was good, and our server, Saige, was amazing, we had a terrible experience with the manager/restaurant's ID policy. To order alcoholic drinks, they scanned our ID's through some machine they have and two of the five of our ID's came back as invalid (we are in our late 20's), so they wouldn't let my two friends order alcohol. I've never been to a restaurant that scans ID's in order for you to order alcohol and I will never return here after that experience. The place itself is quite spacious and has a nighttime ambiance. While I enjoyed the type of music they played (pop hits), it was so loud that I had to shout for my friends to hear me speak. Also, the restaurant turns into a nightclub around 11:30pm. Onto the food: - Wagyu truffle gyoza: These dumplings were very disappointing. I couldn't really tell that it was wagyu beef and the filling seemed to only be meat (I wished there was a hint of a veggie). Could not taste any truffle. 2/5 - Lychee spare ribs: This was one of the specials. The ribs were tasty, but the lychee flavor wasn't present. They tasted more like sweet and sour ribs, just less emphasis on the sour and more emphasis on the sweet. 4/5 - Teriyaki steak noodles: The dish was tasty but not worth the price. I expected the meat to be of higher quality than it was and I've had better noodles elsewhere. 3/5 - Fried ice cream: We had called ahead and asked if they did anything special for birthdays and were told that they do and would put a candle in the dessert but when it arrived, there was no candle. There was a "Happy Birthday" sign but it felt very underwhelming and made it awkward to sing HBD. The dessert itself was great. The fried ice cream ball had both chocolate and vanilla, and I especially loved the marshmallow on the bottom. 4/5 - Pad Thai: Good flavoring and the noodles were cooked well. I don't normally like pad thai because of the fishy taste, but this was not that fishy. 4/5 - Ferris wheel sushi cupcakes: The presentation of the cupcakes in an actual Ferris wheel is very cute. We really enjoyed these. 4/5 - Lychee Coconut No-Jito: I really enjoyed this mocktail. If you like coconut, I recommend this drink. Although I wish the lychee taste was stronger. 4/5

Went to Empire for a friend's birthday for drinks and dancing. We grabbed seats at the bar (6 of us), and while hanging out, a friend and I split a Shrimp Tempura Futo roll, super tasty! I also had a lychee martini, which was really refreshing. Our bar tender was very attentive and would always make sure we had a cup of water. The music was okay, but overall a fun night.

Had such a great meal here the other night!! First of all, the vibe and interior decoration is so nice! Everything feels so elevated! This is a great spot to get dressed up for a night out, maybe snap a few pics if you're feeling it! The food was also so delicious! It is a bit pricey, but nice for a splurge on a fun night out! They've got a large menu of great options including some super fun items like the sushi cupcake Ferris wheel! My favorites from the night was probably either the Tik tok chicken or the red chili wontons, but everything was honestly sooo good! We also got the chow foon with beef, truffle wagyu gyoza, scallion pancakes, red chili wontons and the iconic Ferris wheel sushi cupcakes and every bite was delicious! We honestly probably ordered too much food but it was worth trying it all!! The service was also so great! Staff was so nice and attentive throughout the meal.

"Chef Jim provided us an amazingly memorable experience. The artistry of the display, quality of food, ambience, attention to detail, and the charm and engagement made this one of the best family Christmas Eve dinner dinners we've had! Kudos to the chef the bartender and our gracious hosts."

Food was good! This was Wednesday night sushi deal. Service was a bit slow, although everyone friendly. Restaurant so cool

I feel bad writing this review, but this was such a disappointing experience that I feel people should know what they're getting into before coming here. My fiancé and I went here for the $25 deal, but it was absolutely not even worth the $50 we spent for the both of us. We had a reservation for 8:45. when we got there, we had to wait 20 mins, and the entire time we were checking in with the hostess, she said they were "preparing the table" and that we "needed to be patient". I'm not so sure we were any different from a walk-in to them. When they finally seated us, they asked us if we wanted tap water, bottled water, or sparkling water. You're telling me a $100+ restaurant doesn't have a water filter? We ordered the sparkling water which ended up being an extra $14. When we told our waitress we were trying the $25 deal, she handed us a tiny hand-sized card that had a few sushi rolls and appetizer-esque items on it, and continued to inform us that we would only be allowed to order 2 items per person at a time. The problem with this, is that each plate not only took a while to come out, but they were extremely small portions; even with them cramming as much of the order as they could onto one plate. The waitress herself wasn't even very attentive, so we would have to wait just to order as well. After just the first round that we ordered, it's 9:45 and the waitress informs us that it's last call, since the kitchen closes at 10:00. Um, do you see how kinda scammy that is?- We weren't seated for 20 mins after our reservation time, and weren't tended to in a timely fashion, nor were we able to order a portion that would keep us satisfied within our given time. Outside of feeling a bit ignored by our waitress, the staff themselves were also very dismissive- Our table's soy sauce was out when we arrived, and when we asked a staff member to refill it, she seemed to get frustrated with the request and stormed off. I will say it was busy in there, so I can understand feeling overwhelmed and like you're trying to juggle a lot in an environment like that. It just wasn't an encouraging feeling to not be treated with courtesy once during our time here. When she came back with the soy sauce, she slammed the dish on the table as though she had more pressing matters to attend to, and ignored my "thank you!". The food itself seemed like it lacked a lot of care- The crispy rice was stale and cold; the yellowtail roll was some strange slimy combination of red onions that really felt like a concoction bust; the salmon crispy rice was strangely very salty, etc. The restaurant itself was very pretty and well-designed. I really liked the atmosphere/overall vibe of the place. It also wasn't too loud, which was nice. Everything else, however, was a disappointment. It really felt like if you came for the $25, you were a nuisance to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we definitely won't be going back.

I can't believe this place only has 3 stars. Everything we tried was excellent, and we tried a lot of dishes. From sushi, to noodles, to burger and fries, it was all very good. Service was top tier, maybe even a little too attentive but our serger was very kind and gave good recommendations. Our drinks also were very good. The restaurant is lovely, but it was a little too cold, and loud. There was a large group there with children so naturally it'll be a little loud, but I think the music was a little too loud for me personally (background noise is very distracting for me). Don't sleep on this place and let the 3 stars deter you from coming here!

I came here for a big birthday dinner. Empire definitely had good music and service. The ambience is very elegant and modern. I got the spicy tuna roll which is my go to for sushi. It was okay and fit the description. However due to the pricing and placement of the restaurant I was hoping for it to have an elevated taste but it was okay. I do have to say the drinks were delicious and have new flavor profiles that I haven't tried yet

Once you get in, there's a small lounge area on the left and then a larger lounge area straight ahead where the bar is. They have small tables with couches and local artwork ond display. For their drinks, their mixed drinks are average, but they only had 3 beers on draft which was a disappointment. They do serve some bar food and snacks, but like the drinks they're overpriced. I've been here twice and there's usually a wait for the rooftop. Once on a Saturday I was quoted up to a 3 hour wait that was actually 45 minutes and on a Sunday it was a 15 minute wait. I put my name down and got a friendly text when my turn was up. The view is pretty good, but not the best since it's not by the water so it's mostly looking at the city and large apartment complexes. The rooftop is small with 4-5 tables, a TV, and some seats. It seems like they allow around 40 people in at a time. Overall, this a cool place to hang out with friends this summer!

I like how it is set up like a lounge, where they have couches available for big and small groups. You can also just sit at the bar to grab a drink. There are also tables on the terrace, but it is not always open during the winter months. When the door is unlocked, it is worth checking out the view for a couple of minutes. The bartenders can be a bit hit-and-miss, depending on the night. I wouldn't take that personally. Just order your drink and focus on your company. They will come around like 15 minutes before closing and asking you to close your tabs. Supposedly their lobby bar stays open later than 11 PM, but my friends and I tried going then got turned away by the lobby bar as well. I have always had GIN CRAZE $14 (Beefeater gin, lemon, simple, raspberry puree). It is pretty solid.

This is one of the worst nightclubs I have ever been to…read more There was a pretty popular DJ playing here that I was ecstatic to see, so I bought tickets in advance to go see them. It was also one of the official afterparties for Breakaway Mass. The ticket I purchased was also for "floor standing" btw. Little did I know that the "floor" I was expecting to be on when I purchased my ticket online was actually the entire vip area that was barricaded. So the actual dance floor where the DJ is, is ridiculously far from common areas that it just made it hard to enjoy. If that's how it was going to be, AT LEAST PUT THAT SOMEWHERE???? I never would have gone and wasted my time in the first place!! Extremely misleading. At least it was only $25. If you weren't in VIP, you had to be above the stairs next to the bar area and the sofas where there's even less space! Additionally, the crowd here is weak and rude. The workers seemed rude too. Everybody, including those on the dance floor were just standing and going on their phones, not a single person dancing. You needed a wristband to go down to the vip area, and I also noticed only a certain type of person was getting wristbands to go down there *cough cough* ANYWAYS, this was my first impression of Boston nightlife and it was clearly not a good one. At least this subpar experience was good for one thing: it's made me realize how ever-so grateful I am to be a socal resident where nightlife is much better and I will never take it for granted again so thank you :)

I had drank my drink and thought the alcohol was a little low and asked if she could remake it. Instead of gently declining she said all the staff are required to pour a certain amount of liquor per drink and out of curiosity I asked what that amount was. She took it for attitude and asked "why, are you a bartender"... She then asked who made my drink and I pointed at a bartender on the other end then she took a stray pen and THREW IT at another bartender's head then ushered for them to come over. The bartender started whispering in their coworkers ear and for a good five minutes they stared at me, giggling, not acknowledging my request and mocked me as if we're back in high school... Later in the night my friend orders a round of shots and that same bartender who made it gave her attitude as well. The Grand, if you're going to hire High School staff, at this point just invite teenagers then. We ordered the dip trio, the spanakopita, the feta 2.0, the scallops, and the gnocchi moussaka. The feta 2.0 was an absolute hit (got too excited so forgot to take a picture). The feta was soft and creamy, wrapped in fried phyllo, and soaked in honey. So unbelievably delicious. The spanakopita was also a favorite for us--it was served on a bed of tzatziki and was perfectly seasoned. The dip trio was generally delicious, but the butternut squash hummus was a bit underwhelming. The scallops were tasty, but perhaps a bit overcooked. I did really enjoyed our the gnocchi moussaka but it is a bit salty. Service was quick and our server made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the night. It definitely felt like a more loud and lively environment. A great option in Seaport that I will keep on my list!

Super Bowl weekend in the Seaport has a certain hum to it. Not chaotic. Not frantic. Just alive…read more Committee was vibing. We had a 6:30 reservation on Saturday night, table for four, friends in town for the game the next day. The room was full, the bar glowing in the background, conversations layered over music that felt present but not overpowering. It felt like a place that knows it's a hot spot and moves with that rhythm comfortably. Our table sat toward the front near the windows, clearly in the dining zone. The reservation mattered. We felt placed, not squeezed in. The staff moved like they were ready for the crowd, not reacting to it. We opened with cocktails. I kept it simple, a whiskey ginger. The first one came out wrong. I mentioned it casually, and our waiter handled it exactly how you hope a good restaurant does, no drama, no awkward pause, just "of course" and a fresh one in front of me quickly. Smooth, professional, easy. We started light with the marinated olives. Nothing flashy, just quality Peloponnese olives dressed with orange zest and champagne vinaigrette. The citrus was subtle, more of a soft sweetness than a statement. The vinaigrette coated them nicely without drowning them. Not a must-order, but a quiet signal that the kitchen cares about ingredients. If you love olives, you'll appreciate them. If you skip them, you won't feel like you missed the night. Then came the zucchini crisps, which for me are the cornerstone of any serious Greek restaurant. You can tell a lot from how a kitchen handles something that simple. These passed. They arrived stacked high, golden, crisp enough that you could hear the crunch. Not greasy, not limp, not overly thick. We came hungry, and they didn't last long. What makes or breaks a zucchini chip is the sauce, and here it was the harissa lemon aioli. It gave the dish its defining personality. A little heat, a little brightness, enough depth to keep you going back for another one. We demolished them. That tells you everything. The roasted carrots followed, and they did exactly what a great vegetable dish should do. Honey gave them a gentle sweetness that paired well with the pistachio dukkah. The carrots themselves carried that earthy backbone that holds everything together. Most importantly, they were cooked right. Tender enough to cut easily, but still with a slight bite. No mush. Just clean execution and thoughtful seasoning. By the time the scallops hit the table, the kitchen had earned our trust. They were beautifully done, properly seared with a golden edge and tender inside. The parsnip and pear puree felt inventive but grounded, adding depth without pushing the dish too sweet. The pomegranate kept it bright. Yes, they are expensive. But quality in the Seaport costs what it costs, and these felt worth it. The octopus was the star of the night. I've only recently come around to octopus after having it done well at a few great spots around Boston. When it's right, it hits that perfect middle ground. It has the tenderness of a well-cooked piece of meat, but carries that clean saltwater backbone from the sea. Not fishy. Not delicate like salmon. More like a piece of chicken from the ocean, firm, clean, satisfying. Committee nailed it. There was real char. The kind that seals in flavor and gives you that grilled depth. It had bite without resistance, tender without falling apart. The 'nduja ragu and marble potatoes grounded it without overpowering. It felt composed but not overworked. If you're ordering one dish here, this is the one. And then the lamb. Sometimes you just want a piece of meat done right. No theatrics. No overthinking. These were beautifully done. Full bone-in chops, about twelve ounces each. We ordered four total for the table because we knew everyone would want a piece, and that instinct was correct. You could tear through a whole rack if you let yourself. Juicy, rich, not aggressively gamey, just clean and satisfying. The Greek whipped potatoes were smooth and comforting, the salsa verde sharp and classic, cutting through the richness exactly how it should. At $29, it's not cheap. But when lamb is this good, price stops being part of the conversation. Committee isn't trying to be quiet. It's lively. It's confident. It knows it's a scene. But behind the energy is a kitchen that understands balance, texture, and how to execute Mediterranean staples without overcomplicating them. On a weekend built around a game, this felt like a win.
