I've been here a few times. I don't usually get my nails done especially pedicure as I'm super ticklish lol but I'm glad I tried it here cause ever since then, it's been my main go-to place. I love Dan, older guy, nail tech as well as Danny. Great sense of humor & does so well with his job. Great & hardworking employees. Worth every penny. Horrible experience. Tolerable work. Wasn't gonna leave a review but maybe this'll help others avoid experiencing what I did or know that it's nothing personal if you have a similar experience here. I'll just list the things that went wrong. My mom disliked the polish color and asked politely to change it. The guy was obviously frustrated and sighing and groaning and took it off by harshly rubbing off the polish with a towel. He even started swatting her toes with the towel. My mom felt so embarrassed and later told me that it physically hurt and she wanted to run away and wish she had. I felt bad too because the reason she hadn't looked down at her toes earlier was because I was talking to her and kept showing her things on my phone. Afterwards, my mom was getting a manicure. She picked polish instead of gel because she likes to easily remove the color at home once her nails have grown out too much. She's gotten gel before but struggles to remove it, even with pure acetone and cotton foil wraps. She asked for a french mani with a small flower on one of the nails and glitter on another. The woman very rudely kept saying no. I understand there can be justifiable and logistical reasons to refuse a customer's requests but there's a kind way to do it. My mom was so excited for her nails early in the morning because she had seen the nail art this establishment had posted online and also the nail art she saw on the display books when we came into the salon. I kept trying to come up with simpler ideas that could spice up my mom's nails like she wanted but every request was met with annoyance and belittlement. A place with good customer service would offer other solutions to help compromise. She could've said I can do an accent nail with a different color, add gemstones, add a small charm, but instead just irritated no's. Lastly, my pedicure started lifting and then chipping off in chunks just a few days after. My mom's manicure polish wasn't covering the entirety of her nail on some of her fingers. When we were at home she told me she had noticed at the salon but she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible so she didn't say anything. I felt terrible for bringing my mom here and relying on the good reviews instead of trying this place out by myself first. I have tougher skin than her and can handle uncomfortable situations. I am a college student with a minimum wage part time job and I invited my mom out to have some relaxing mother daughter time. I could tell the experience had really upset her as english is her second language and she struggles in communicating. She tried to act like she enjoyed her time and liked her nails since she wanted to be appreciative of me because I invited her. I paid for both of us and tipped 20% for each service. The entire time I excused the bad customer service to them having scheduled appointments right after us, but no. There were no other customers when we showed up, none showed up while we were there, and there were none coming in as we were leaving. Decided to write this review after we went to a different salon today where had a wonderful experience which got us talking about our prior time at this salon. read more

My new nail salon!! If you are looking for a covid safe nail salon, then this place is for you! Not only are they being super safe and clean, pretty sure going above and beyond what is required, they are also very detailed with their work. My nails look amazing after each visit! I am not a big fan of change, so having to find a new nail salon closer to my new home was definitely difficult but I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this place. Typically I come in for a pedicure and they always make it a relaxing and wonderful experience. The pedicures always last too! The front lady was not welcoming at all, she was rude when I walked in, the lady that did my toes was rushing because there was only 3 of them and people were walking in so I can tell she rushed on my toes, the color I chose for my toes was not the same color it came out to be when my toes dried. I came into Emma nails the day before Thanksgiving to get a quick pedi, but the night before I had cut my foot. The owner said she COULD do the pedi, but it really wasn't safe with an open cut.
