Atmosphere - clean, pretty quiet first thing in the morning on a weekday. Friendly and helpful serving staff. Menu has some more unusual options like eggs benedict with Dungeness crab, definitely a step up from other breakfast places just for that. My lactose-free dining partner had trouble choosing because there were so many options available, which is not something we run into often. Food was excellent and portion size left both of us very full (in retrospect I should probably have boxed half of it up... but it was delicious). We have been to this location multiple times for breakfast. Each and every time, including today, has been a very positive experience. Wide array of items to choose and seems like each time there are new ones. The restaurant is Sparkling clean, even the restrooms. Their menu is typical of most diners including breakfast omelettes/scrambles, biscuits and gravy, pancakes/crepes, and country steak. However they do have a specialty German pancake, which is bowl like pastry that is topped with various fruits. I tried their seasonal Blueberry and Banana crepes, which were amazing. Almost drenched and stuffed with blueberries; if you're a fruit lover, I could not recommend them more. The crepes are light and the cream cheese sauce balances the sweetness of the fruit. Been here lots of times for meeting's and such. This is one of the better Elmer's in the area. Large seating area, and a good sized special event room. The food is a typical breakfast lunch and dinner place, same menu as the other Elmer's. I have to say that this one's food is consistently good and the servers do a good job working together. I thought it would be a nice dinner. I had the prime rib. It was really rather nasty. It was peppered and somehow rather bad tasting. Even the lean part of the meat had a bad flavor. Stopped here for breakfast Wed morning because we figured we knew what to expect. All in all it was ok, the German pancake was a little chewy and the pork sausage had a weird taste but not terrible. My wife went for the Eggs Benedict and mostly like it but the the eggs were so overcooked that they were like eating a hardboiled egg. Another thing hat she did not like was the ham it had a very tough rind on it which was she was unable to chew. She did like the Hollandaise sauce though. I loved Elmer's before the pandemic. It seems the perfect, above all other restaurants dedicated service to loyal customers has vanished!! Been here twice before and had pleasurable experiences. Staff was attentive and professional as well as friendly. Food came fast and our coffee always filled and needs always met. Thought this was the norm and was excited to go back until yesterday (2/1/22) when I hit a bump. Blase` manager sat me down on the left hand side of the restaurant instead of the right (Left is dark and sparse where as the right is alive and active). No big deal and I stay optimistic. Karen (Waitress) comes and takes my order; coffee and a Vegetarian Omelette with no cheese. Coffee is filled and I wait for another another great experience to happen. Under five minutes and I`m done with my coffee. I see the manager, and he sees me, I raise my hand and he makes his way towards me. However, he stops at the empty booth in front of me, turns his back, cleans it, and leaves. Okay; no big deal and here comes Karen. She arrives, seems overwhelmed (Think she`s new), takes an order, and leaves. Again, no big deal and I wait patiently for another server. Long story short; I`m ignored two more times (A different waiter and once again by the manager) and I`ve had enough. I take my empty coffee cup with me to the cashier area, put it down, and ask how much for the coffee as I wont be needing the meal (Total duration of time was a little over fifteen minutes after I finished my first cup of coffee. Should have been more patient? Not in my opinion; but I leave it to you). Conclusion: I will be back as one bad experience wont deter me from the two enjoyable experiences I had before. The location is one of the best in terms of being well kept, the food is fast and tasty, and the staff is (Usually) accommodating and always keeping an eye out for the customers. I highly recommend this Elmers location, at least for the time being, and will give an update in the near future on my next experience. Four out of five for the time being. read more

So we decided to stop in for breakfast one morning. Lots of parking in the private lot. Right off the freeway. VERY clean and inviting interior...all decorated for Fall. Our waitress was 10/10 and the food was delicious. I had the mouth watering German Pancake with bacon and eggs. The bacon was fantastic. The pancake was fluffy and light and lemony....like a cloud. I am a long time customer, but my boyfriend moved to Oregon from Pennsylvania, and I insisted that he have the Elmer's experience. He loved it so much the first time that we went back the very next week with my youngest daughter. We had a very pleasant waitress named Jewell. She was very accommodating. A very friendly face, great service. She asked if we had been in before, and we told her that my boyfriend is new to Oregon and Elmer's. She welcomed him, and even gave us an Elmer's coupon. One of the best places for breakfast my husband have I have been to! We are visiting from out of state so this was just an accidental find. Their pomegranate mimosa was delicious! I had the Denver Omlette and it was perfectly made; right about of filling, cheese, fluffiness. My husband had the country fried steak bowl and it was also made perfectly. Right amount of ingredients and nicely served. We were so impressed that we forgot to take pictures! To make it even better, our server Enrique was awesome.
