I had been told this place had the best bacon so while in the area we decided to try Elmer's for breakfast for the first time. It was packed and a 40 minutes wait, not knowing the area we decided to wait it out, and glad we did. This place was moving! They were staffed well, the front greeter staff were on the ball making sure guests were greeted fast, had a realistic number when it came to wait time and were seating people as well as checking in with guests and helping out with refills and bussing. Waitstaff were awesome. They were so busy and yet happy, enjoying themselves and seemed very genuine in doing so. They helped each other, doing refills on coffee for all tables needed not just there own. Christina was our waitress and she was amazing. She was friendly, attentive (without being overly attentive), happy and overall just awesome. When she found out it was our first time at an Elmer's she brought us an envelope with a thank you letter in it. The food was cooked to perfection on all 3 of our plates. As busy as they were and as hard as they were working that place was running perfectly. Everyone from the management to the bussers were eager to help and working hard. Great breakfast (especially the bacon), reasonable prices, fantastic customer service and a clean, enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely will return and definitely worth the wait. read more

Love Elmer's. Wonderful Pancakes and You can get Marian berry or maple syrup, I opt for the berry. I do miss the caddie of different types of syrup, bit I'm okay with the more limited choice. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. The service is good. This is a great alternative when you're looking for breakfast in the middle of the day - and their non breakfast food is good too! read more

Service here was poor. I'm not sure if it's because we're from out of town or because we are people of color (and I never make that an issue). We were helped by three different people in order to get the things we needed (silverware, straws, dessert, lemon). Asked for hot water and lemon and was told there were out of lemon, however, when my fish and chips arrived, lo and behold there was a lemon wedge!! No one came to ask how was our meal, if we wanted ketchup or condiments. I asked for malt vinegar for my fish and chips it wasn't offered. The server did take off the onion rings since they were cold by the time the ranch was brought out by someone we flagged down. Everyone else received excellent service however the table next to us left before ordering. read more

I have breakfast here now and then and like most of the Elmers I've patronized, this one is consistent. Service is attentive. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. Quality is good. There are several five start breakfast restaurants in the area otherwise I'd probably go to Elmers more frequently. read more

Me and my husband had the avocado Benedict and chicken fried steak with all the fixing the gravy was yummy she also recommended the cherry apple streusel crepes and she was right there to die for .... and did I mention that the service was Wonderful Savanna even help us out on a third rounds of coffee. Elmer's sources high quality beef, cheese and bacon, so what could possibly go wrong? The best ingredients put in the hands of the worst line cook results in a shoe leather tough, over cooked burger with salt and pepper. this sad excuse for a burger was sandwiched between a stale bun that completely feel apart half way through trying to choke it down. the featured bacon and cheese, while not being bad were sadly not enough to make up for what this cook did to what could have been a decent burger. Elmer's, train your line cooks. a spatula is not a weapon to squeeze the life out of a hamburger patty. it's really simple.... gently place the burger on the grill, lightly season it, let one side cook without molesting it, gently flip the patty one time, add a little more seasoning, place the cheese on top and when it's ready, gently pick it up and slide it on to the toasted bun. *do not* smash it flat. Do not flip it four or five times. You have the right ingredients but your process is way, way wrong. A little QA would make your customers way happier. Until you figure this out, I'll be eating somewhere else. read more

Went to brunch today with some guests from out of town & we can't believe we've never been here before ! The food is delicious and the staff is fantastic ! We had a three year old with us and they were so friendly with her and brought her hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles on top and boy was she impressed! Good food but disappointing service! We went there on a weekday for brunch. The place was not that busy, and we got tables instantly. I ordered a Going for the Sun omlet with pancakes, and my wife got a Northwest skillet. Both dishes were good. The coffee and orange juice that I ordered were mediocre. The service was however, terrible. I had to ask repeatedly for a straw and the server actually threw it at the table. The coffee refill took 20min and actually arrived with the check. The server seemed uninterested in checking the guests once the food was served. I saw a similar attitude towards other guests too. If the service we're half decent, I would have given a 4 star. read more

They had some nice combinations and some unique things like breakfast bowls, German pancakes, etc. when I arrived a few people were waiting but I got a seated in less then 5 min. Well dressed and organized the concierge. I ordered original egg Benedict with hash browns and a cup of coffee. Let's start with the hashbrowns. I felt they were doused in butter. I've never had hashbrowns with so much butter or oil more than McDonald's or any fast food place I felt unfortunately that they Benedict was not my favorite either because the ham slice was so thick I think it overpowered, the food one last thing I wish they had more selections of premier coffee drinks like lattes mocha and some flavoring. I think this is America's passion in need to have this. They're not the only ones that will serve a traditional black coffee and maybe one choice of something else Personally because of this experience, I will not go back. Jewell greeted us with such warmth & hospitality, and thanks to her we were able to try the potato cakes without the extra cost, highly recommend it! The staff here is exceptional. The breakfast was very fresh and fantastic. I had the veggie omelette with the sauce. It was so good. The portion was way more than I could eat but very plentiful. My husband & I went to our first post-COVID-isolation meal at Elmer's for breakfast. We were very impressed with how seriously Elmer's is taking these new rules. They marked social distancing, closing every other booth and all the center tables. There are no condiments on the tables anymore, instead they bring a tray and ask what you'd like to have. Of course all the staff wore masks. We scooted our coffee cup over to the edge of the table so our server, Kitty, wouldn't have to reach over us. And Kitty was as delightful and upbeat as usual. She remembers our usual orders... and my husband's German Pancake and my omelet were just perfectly prepared, and soooooo delicious!! It's so nice to be back. read more

I was staying at one of the Hotels for a month for pain management and was glad this location was within walking distance. I qualify for the senior meals, so that's what I ordered. For a Senior portion it was really big. I ordered the French toast with eggs and it was well prepared. The service was great and the manager(s) checked on their guest to insure quality. I would gladly eat here again and recommend this location. Sorry could not remember the names of those who provided a nice experience. read more

S: That comes with our delicious biscuit. Is that okay? M: That sounds great. S: *Comes back with a bottle of ketchup* Would you like hot sauce? M: No thanks. She then brought out my breakfast. My omelette, with an order of pancakes. M: I ordered hash browns. S: You did? M: Yes, that's why you brought over the ketchup. S: Oh, ok. Let me get you those. I had a wonderful experience at Elmer's last Saturday! My server Sebastian was professional, courteous and so welcoming! I was a little upset for having to wait so long for a table but the server experience and how accommodating my server was made up for all of it. Well we waited 40m for our food and nothing. Our 2.5yo was completely restless and either crying or throwing the balloon they gave him. So we ended up paying for the couple's food next to us to compensate for our embarrassment. So when we couldn't take it anymore we left. So after 45m, we were $30 poorer, still hungry, and pissed. And the GM should have been walking around apologizing to people or offering a discount. But he was no where in sight. The people at the other table told us they had been waiting 45-50m. This is typical Elmer's - I went for lunch on a weekday (whereas I normally look for Elmer's for breakfast on weekends). I was a little surprised to see no host, and when I got seated he took my drink order and never brought it. Service was good, but I think they may have only had one server because he did take a while to come to my table and take my order - but the food came out so quickly I suppose it was a wash. The food here is quality - so my 3-star rating is mostly for the sub-expectation in service and friendliness that's usually a standard at Elmer's. read more
