If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I made reservations for my husband's birthday after rave reviews on a local blog. I was assured by many it would be flawless and amazing, and it was!! We love places where we feel special/like family. I made a reservation, letting them know it was my husband's birthday. They opened the door for us and greeted us by name, with warm birthday wishes. Elliott came over and introduced himself and personally wished my husband a happy birthday. The space is darling! The food - We ordered UP! *Bread board with Miso butter - We forced ourselves NOT to eat the whole thing. *Octopus - We've had it all over the world - this was the best we've ever had. Wedge Salad - Also a favorite we order a lot - Best we've ever had. Ribs and Brussels sprouts - Again, best Brussels we've ever had. Mussels and prawns/shrimp - amazing - fantastic portion, and we were glad we had a little bread left. The sauce! OMG. Pork Chop with Crab Butter and Steak with chimichuri - My husband loved the perfect smoke on the chop, I loved the crab butter spin. The steak - perfectly cooked, great flavor. We were about to bust (we had to go boxes), and Chef Elliott brought a delicious piece of spice cake with a candle. Still thinking about that too! The wines are unique and special. We took recommendations and it was a delicious adventure. The staff (Seth was our main Server) is very knowledgeable on their wine list. We loved how Chef Elliott and his team treated guests. It was obvious they care and they're passionate about what they do. Can't wait to return! We were so enchanted, I forgot to take pictures. I forgot I even had a phone...lol. He also asked what kind of car I drove and came out to greet us as soon as we parked. Excellent curbside service. Ordered Drunken Mussels (deliciousness, nice portion too), Cucumber & Tomato salad, TC Turkey Club (nice balanced flavors, crunchy fried Turkey and a softy, fluffy bun... winner and crispy fries), Crow's Fried Chicken (my dining companion enjoyed the moist crunchy chicken) and Duck Breast (my dining companion enjoyed the flavor just wish there was more of it). Very charming restaurant with delicious food. The interior is pretty small but they also have some outside seating. The food was great. Drunken mussels - amazing, broth was so delicious I almost picked up the bowl and drank it Thai chili ribs w/ added sprouts - the ribs were well cooked and flavorful, sprouts were deep fried and tossed in a sauce, surprisingly not spicy at all Cucumber & tomato salad - one of the best salads I've ever had, would come back for this alone Creole salmon w/ crab - salmon was well cooked with delicious grits and veggies Duck breast - my duck was a bit over cooked but they actually brought me replacement duck without me even saying anything about it! The chef must have realized he over cooked it On top of the great food, service was flawless all evening. Recently enjoyed a birthday dinner with our family at Elliot's and I do want to stress we greatly enjoyed all aspects of the meal and the service we received throughout the meal. We have always enjoyed these types of restaurants which are smaller and the service feels more personable, but don't think the quality of the meal will be any lesser than a number of restaurants in the area that are higher priced and more pretentious. One point to note is the inside seating area is small, maybe less than 30 seats so I am not sure they would be good for a large walk in party and I would recommend calling for reservations. read more

Ambiance, wine, and food were all delicious. Service and other diners were kind and prompt. We even had our 4 month old with us and (while he was on his best behavior) we still had a fantastic evening. It was a small venue, so get a reservation or get there early. I visited for dinner a couple of weeks ago for the first time. What brought me here was reading Alison Cooks' review about their hamburger and fries and the glowing review she gave. I made a reservation and arrived on time knowing that they only offered outdoor dining during Covid. Fortunately the weather was very nice that early evening. The inside portion of the restaurant is very small and currently closed. The outdoor eating area consists of a couple of small tables along the restaurant front and a few tables in the parking lot that are in a specially designated area and cordoned off from the parking lot traffic. Also there are a couple of tables on the side of the restaurant with a small tarp like awning covering them. Don't come here to dine in if it's cold or rainy. Get it to go. Of course I asked for the cheddar burger which comes with a 1/2 lb. hand formed patty of Akaushi beef with arugula, tomato, onion, house sauce and the french fries that come with it for $13. Price wise, for a specialty burger like this with fries, it was a real deal. The food came out in about 15 minutes and looking at it I was immediately pleased and thought it was going to be an easy 4 score wise. This was one of those meals where the first few bites were better than the last few bites. As I continued eating the burger, I enjoyed it less. I'm not sure if it was the flavor of the beef or the house sauce. It was probably the sauce because Akaushi is primo beef. Even after the meal, I decided that the taste just wasn't for me. I think the fries are double fried and they were good but no more. Obviously my experience was very different from Ms. Cooks' which saddened me. Like I said, the meal is a real value but didn't suit my tastes. Table service during the meal was very good. This is a two man operation with the chef and host/waiter/busboy so they stay busy. Even though I wasn't a fan of this meal, I do like this small restaurant and believe it serves very good other menu items. Maybe it isn't fair to write a review for a restaurant after just ordering a burger and fries from them so I will give a 3 overall but probably wouldn't order this meal again and if I did would have them skip the house sauce. Also, because of the outside only dining option and winter coming, I might not get back here for a while. read more

After plan A on a Saturday evening fell through, we were looking for a restaurant in the area and Elliot's Table came up. I had been wanting to check out Elliot's for a while so not too shabby of a plan B at all. Elliott's Table is located in a small shopping center but we were able to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is itty bitty. One of the smallest I've seen in town. That means that tables come at a premium but since we were there for a later dinner, luckily we were able to snag a table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive but a little too much of a chatty Cathy for my liking. We started off with their bread service which is a very generous portion. Normally, I'm not a big fan of paying for bread at a restaurant but this was worth it. There were several different types of breads and butter. We couldn't finish it between the two of us. For my entree, I went with the duck. It was cooked perfectly, medium-rare, and served with veggies and mashed potatoes. Not mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes. Butternut squash mashed potatoes. If you're looking for a nice meal with nice ambiance, add Elliot's Table to the list. read more

We love Elliot's! ! ! It's great for date night at least once a month... not too loud for conversation but still plays *great* music and has cool cafe vibes. Elliot himself is always there, and we love it when he happens to be our server. He's SOO hard working and enthusiastic and always makes us feel special. Our favorite dishes are the wedge salad (gigantic), the ribs (not normally a rib fan and wow!!), the salmon and the chicken Parmesan. Don't get so full you can't get a slice of the rotating cake. If you like Gorgonzola order the sprouts. For mains we had the Pork Chop, Ribs and Grits and Mac&Cheese with Shrimp. We enjoyed all three. Oh gosh. How I wanted to give Elliot's Table 5 stars. This is a tough one y'all. Really tough. Located in a very small shopping strip. You think the shopping strip is small, wait until you get inside the restaurant. Super small so I thought that meant super personal....but absolutely the opposite. We made reservations just to be safe. Their hours and days are a bit wonky so it took a couple of days to get in touch with them. It would be uber helpful if they were on Resy or Opentable. Being small, every table was taken on a Wednesday evening. I don't know if it was off night, but there was only one server working every single table and a few parties outside. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it took our server at least 20 in between each time to: Come to our table to greet us, bring out water, bring wine for one, take our order, take away our plates after finishing and about 25 minutes come to our table to bring the check. We weren't even asked how our food was. The room is small and it's impossible to not check in on people. It's just impossible! But like I said, he was the only sever...but I still don't think that's an excuse. There was also a food runner and she also cleaned tables and got to go orders packed up. What blows my mind is that the owner, working the kitchen never came out once to check on anyone or apologize for what was happening in the dining room. I know he was busy, but Chef, you've got to know what's going on in the dining room, especially when it's an open kitchen and you can see everything. For two people eating (only one drinking wine) one appetizer and two entrees we were there for 2 1/2 hours!!! Unbelievable! I've can't remember the last time I had this type of service. The walls hang with accolades and awards, and yes the food is absolutely amazing. 5/5. But the experience was like being in the twilight zone. I was waiting for someone to come out from the woodworks l and tell us we've been punked. I really want to come back to see if maybe it was an off night. I mean the food is delish. Elliot's table is the tiny, charming, chef led establishment I so desperately wanted to love and rave about to friends. Instead, I finished my meal here with the distinct impression that this is a restaurant surviving purely on some long lost reputation. We arrived and were seated with reservations. It's a full house on a Friday, with more walk-ups willing to wait. I almost gave myself a pat on the back for this gem of a find. We ordered the octopus, the salmon, and the red snapper. The hours-braised fried octopus over a bed of arugula salad looked impressive. But in taste, nothing to write home about. Oh boy, here comes the fish. Both plated over the same bed of cheese grits and an assortment of roasted vegetables. The blue cheese in the grits were a bit rich for my palate, but tolerable. The vegetables -- they were roasted. The stars of the show, the snapper and salmon, were tasteless and undercooked! I might've been able to overlook the undercooked salmon if half of the fillet wasn't already cooked medium well. But what a waste of delicate, lean, presumably fresh snapper to serve it, in their words, "medium rare". We sent it back. It was returned just as tepid, on a new plate. I'll let the photo do justice. If past reviews are to believed, something happened to this restaurant recently. I truly hope they will find a way to turn it around. I still want to like Elliot's Table, but it will take a lot to convince me to give it another shot. All my thanks to the patient and attentive waitstaff. I really wanted this to be so much better. I live right down the street from Elliot's table and Wanted this to be my new go to restaurant. But they haven't convinced me yet. What I liked: 1. Small quaint place, which made exudes very mom and pop vibes. 2. Fast and decent service 3. The most tender fried octopus What was could be better: The STEAK! It's what I came for and also the biggest disappointment. Orders the butchers cut for 2 which was a ribeye. It was decent, came with 2 sides but I felt that it was on par with some better steak night places around town where you can get this dish for 1/3 of the price. Also order the Akaushi ribeye steak that the service advertised, he said it was super marbleized and will have better flavors than the butchers cut. What came out was a under cooked, tasteless steak that took forever to chew! Both steaks were supposed to be medium rare but they were totally different color. Ordered for curbside from here during COVID precautions. Went with the beet salad, octopus, and duck breast dishes. Beet salad was excellent! It's very flavorful, and there's great textural contrast. The octopus was a smaller portion size than I had anticipated, but the 2 sauces were excellent and paired well with the protein. It wasn't crispy even though the drive was 5min, so it was less than 10min from pick up to dinner time. The duck breast was the highlight of the meal. There are many good things in this place, and in normal circumstances, I would highly recommend it as a gem in the area. First the good things. Most food is excellent. It has a very creative menu, and, with regretfully a big exception, all we ate was excellent. The watermelon salad in particular was extraordinary, as well as the bread and miso butter. Also a big and interesting selection of wines (and a limited, but adequate, selection of beers, including some local ones, to accommodate the non wine drinkers). Most of the service staff was vey nice, friendly, and attentive, with a particular mention to the gentleman that acted as our sommelier (we ended with a delicious Portuguese red wine) The great issue we had were the duck breasts. The skin was not rendered at all. Therefore, our duck had a very unpleasant, thick, chewy layer of fat between skin and meat, and, without the fat coming out, the skin was not crispy. Rendering the skin is like the first thing you are supposed to do with a duck breast. It's cooking duck 101, so to speak, so we ended having to praise the (very delicious) vegetables and side dish that garnished that fatty piece of duck meat. The second item I would point to your attention is that there's a fine line between being helpful and being pushy, and the head server crossed it several times. When we asked for a couple of minutes to look at the menu, we meant that: several minutes. No need to ask every 30 seconds if we were ready to order so they could fire our food. We were not ready, and every time we were asked it just meant we had to start thinking again. Please give your customers some space. A nitpick from someone at our table: when you are describing your food, be accurate. Small medley potatoes and purple potatoes are not fingerling potatoes. No matter that purple potatoes are probably better tasting, they are not the same. Don't tell us we are getting fingerling potatoes and give us something different. The menu and the quality of the food shows you know the difference. Your customers do too. One last topic, I promise. Do improve your dessert menu. It's very limited, so, as much as I wanted dessert, nothing seemed interesting enough or worth the calories. I'm sure there's some dessert recipes where that amazing watermelon salad came from In any case, I want to restate. I was deeply impressed with Elliot's Table. It's because I think it's a good place, worth going back several times, that I believe pointing out some deficiencies will be helpful to the team. Reader, don't be discouraged. They just corrected all my nitpicks nw, and you'll have an extraordinary experience there. At the end of the day, i did too. i assume the first of many. read more

I'm really sad that I waited so long to try this place because everything that we ordered was fantastic. The beet salad was good, the seafood pasta was delicious with a nice variety of meat, and the brussels sprouts were out of this world. My husband and I split it a few plates and ended up being upset that we had to share this one. I'd take these over Uchi's famed brussels sprouts any day. The sauce was SO GOOD. It is a very small restaurant so it can get a bit noisy, but they've done the best that they can with the space. I was also a little disappointed that they didn't have any cocktails, but there is a decent beer and wine list so I can certainly make do with a glass of bubbles.
