Located off of T.C. Jester in the Heights, Elliot's Table is the perfect neighborhood restaurant for dinner service. This New American restaurant is warm, cozy, has a lots of charms, and the outdoor patio added the relaxed and casual vibe. The staffs are friendly and personal. Chef-owner Elliot Roddy is pretty hands-on. We saw him while having dinner. While there's no cocktails, the wine menu is extensive and there are some beer options. The food is excellent, and the portion is more than enough to share family style. We sampled couple appetizers and only had enough room to share one main dish. Thai Chili Ribs added sprouts (4.5/5), Grilled Portuguese Octopus (5/5), Drunken Mussels (4/5), cucumber& tomato salad (4/5), cheddar burger with hand cut fries (4.5/5). This is definitely one of our favorites in the neighborhood and I'd highly recommend! P.S. they only open Wed-Sat for dinner service and it's best to call ahead and make a reservation.

The food is fantastic the service was incredible everybody there was so nice and accommodating, the thai chili ribs had right amount of seasoning , the pork chop dish i absolutely devoured lmao it was very tender , the chimichurri steak could've been a little more seasoned and tender but giving it a 5 star because of service and attention to detail, and the ambiance was cozy with dim lighting.

One of our favorite restaurants; it's the best kind of neighborhood restaurant but also upscale and casual enough at the same time. Located in Timbergrove Heights area on T C Jester. We saw Chef Elliot there at dinner service tonight. The staff are top notch. The food is quality, cooked well, and are a good portion size for family style sharing. We got a few appetizers to share; mussels (4/5), Thai ribs (5/5), octopus (4.5/5), and cucumber salad (4/5). We split a very solid cheddar burger with fries (4/5). The highlights are the brussell sprouts for me, and the overall appetizer selection is hard to go wrong.

Delicious rib and Brussels sprouts appetizer. They also offer a terrific wedge salad. Attentive services.

What a delicious little bistro! We did an early Galentine's dinner there last night and loved every minute of our experience. We started with wine, bread service and the crispy brussel sprouts, and then some of us split our mains because the portions are large. Those who didn't all went home with leftovers. My girlfriend and I split the wedge salad (was dressed perfectly) and the cod served a top a bed of crab and veggies (roasted okra, carrots, green beans). Loved this dish. Know that they charge $6 to split plates (they kindly told us in advance). And parking is tight, but there's some street parking, and we were also told we could park in front of the back building. 5 stars. Looking forward to another visit.

This place is so quaint yet upscale. The inside is very small, so I recommend calling for reservations, although we got in quickly when we arrived early. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The chef/owner was walking around greeting customers, I appreciate that. My son ordered a steak, he was very pleased. I tried a bite as well. I am not a steak fan so I cannot rate but it had a crisp outside and tender inside, flavor was good. I ordered the chili ribs from the shareable menu. I couldn't decide between that and the cucumber tomato salad so i ordered that to go. I'll rate tomorrow :-) The ribs were good, very smoky with a hint of spice and sweet. I don't usually eat mushrooms but i tried the ones served with the dish and they were fantastic The wine selection was great. They also have a select dessert menu. Turns out they were sold out so it must've been good. I saw the staff serve the last slice of pecan spice cake, it looked delicious. This place has several articles rated "best" in local magazines/papers. I would like to come back and try those dishes. They (articles) are listed on the website and framed on the walls of the establishment. I truly enjoyed my evening at Elliot's and look forward to returning.

The service was excellent! They attended me & my friend quickly even in a full restaurant. We were recommended delicious plates with so much flavor. The ambiance of the place is calm & cozy. Has low lighting & nicely decorated.

The appetizers, mussels and octopus, stole the show. The sauce of the mussels was so good- I could have the soup alone as a meal. The steak was a good value but not my favorite. My guess it was 12-16 oz but it had a lot of silver skin making jt hard to eat. I also thought it had WAY too much butter where I couldn't taste the meat. The cook on it was off, ordered medium rare and came out rare. Likely will come back for the appetizers!

My husband saw this place on instagram and decided we should try it. We pulled into the parking lot which was completely full so I called to see where to park and they said down the street by the warehouses. Didn't seem very safe parking our nice car so far from the restaurant. We had reservations and were seated right away. The interior is very small and they had the servers answering calls and seating people. The service was slow, but they were all very nice. We ordered the mussels as our appetizer. They were delicious with great flavors. We then ordered the duck and the seafood pasta. Both dishes were very disappointing. My husband and I had a few bites of each and just decided we couldn't eat it, the pasta tasted liked burn garlic and the taste was so overpowering that I just couldn't eat more than 2-3 bites. Definitely won't be coming back.

All the service here was impeccable. Friday night dinner on the patio was a treat. The restaurant definitely ramps up as the night progresses so i'm glad I was able to snag a table at 6:30. I thought the food was good but not as great as everyone's making it out to be? I'd come back to try other dishes.

Been meaning to try this cozy date spot for a while! It got pretty crowded during prime time but we were able to snag a table without wait when we arrived around 5-6pm. The servers were pleasant and warm, perfectly complementing the ambiance of the restaurant. The mussels are a MUST! The bucket comes with 4 pieces of savory toast and some of the fattest mussels I've ever seen, bathed in a delicious spicy seafood sauce. Our next favorite dish was the duck! The meat was perfectly cooked - slightly rare on the inside, crispy on the outside, and paired really well with the sweet potato spread it came with. We ordered the Gorgonzola Brussels spouts by recommendation but felt like the flavors were too strong with the sauce and blue cheese. Would probably pass on this dish next time, but I'm looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other main items!

Went here for me and my girlfriends anniversary. We got seated almost instantly in the nice outside area with no reservation and our waiter was super nice and offered a special meal we eventually got. Very good appetizers and steak, so glad we got to try this place. Will definitely be back again.

Is this place under construction ? Iv always wanted to try it but every time I drive by it has tarps hanging in the front.

They have an outdoor seating area that lies under the tarps or shade fabrics. No construction as far as I know.

Are there happy hour specials?

I don't know, but good luck getting them to answer the phone to ask.

I went for the Philly cheesesteak and a bourbon peach smash. The drink was strong in the best way, and the cheesesteak hit all the right notes with tender meat, soft bread, and no weird chewy bits, just good quality all around. At the table we also tried the mango island, which could definitely use a bit more alcohol, the short rib with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes, the bang bang shrimp, and the sticky ribs with seasonal veggies. The ribs were seasoned perfectly, the short rib was tender though a little more gravy wouldn't hurt, and my aunt was obsessed with the bang bang shrimp's sweet and spicy combo. They even finished the veggies, so that says a lot. The fries, though, need some work. This is the second Federal American Grill location I've tried, and the fries just weren't it both times -- kind of underwhelming compared to everything else on the plate. The service was a bit slow since there was only one server working, but he did the best he could and was still super nice the whole time, so props to him for keeping it together. The cherry on top was the complimentary bread pudding for my birthday, a sweet little surprise and pretty decent too. We also tried the Lalo shots, which they don't serve the traditional way. It was a huge pour for eleven dollars and honestly a great bang for your buck. All in all, it was a great experience with good food, good vibes, and kind service. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu . I'm just hoping the fries step up their game next time.

He ended up being one of the best aspects of our experience that evening. Our waitress wasn't nearly as good. We started by asking for ice in the water from the waitress since they just give you room temp water. After 10 mins of seeing her serve other tables and ignoring our request, we then figured the water boy would make it happen...and sure enough he did. We then ordered the grilled oysters, which are very lightly cooked, almost seemingly steamed more than anything, but they were very good regardless of the cooking method with the sauces and garnishes and pickle juice added. Next up was ordering the entrees. The menu here is a little strange with numerous vegan choices with strange titles and only a few items with protein. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

This place has been on my list, and a group of us just visited...and it's staying on my go to!…read more The parking lot is small, so be aware depending on what time you go. Its also a smallish space, several large tables, booth seating and smaller tables. Waitstaff was super nice! The food was DELISH! Everyone got a little something different and everyone was very happy with their choice. They also have a HH - apps are $8 and drinks are $5 - even on Friday and Saturday. Highly recommend!!
