Again and again i will review this place as being the worst restaurant experience in my life! This place was awful! From black long hair on the white table cloth to lipstick on a glass, the overall experience was disgusting. When kids ordered french fries, the waitress asked - regular fries or thick fries? When we asked what THICK Fries means, she asked us how come we do not know the definition of THICK? She was rude and obnoxious! The food was good! No complains there. After we got the check, we were stunned! On top of charging us 20% tip, they included service charge of about 30-35%, we paid the bill and were asked to get the hell out of the restaurant for NOT GIVING AN EXTRA TIP! Never again! read more

First time here. The service was way too rushed. I came here to enjoy a nice dinner with some friends and i felt very rushed. This is not the best greek restaurant. The spreads were ok. The grilled octopus was not good. Thw branzino was ok and the steak was ok . Overall just an ok experince and super overpriced . Deff way better greek resaurants out there. read more

I've tried this restaurant a few times. While the service has never been exceptional, I always just looked past it... until this last visit. It was a Sunday night, there was only one other table in the restaurant, and the waiter was continuously rude to us from the minute we sat down. He made sarcastic comments about everything. He commented on the fact that we didn't order alcohol, when asked about a traditional Greek dish that might be on the menu but wasn't, he said "what more do you want, this is a nice place!?" implying that the dish was beneath this establishment. When asked for bread he said "I'm heating it up, what do you want cold bread!?". When we asked for the bill he told us that once we have it we had to go because they will need the table. There was only one other table in there at 7pm on a Sunday night! Who did you need it for! We were only there an hour, not lingering all night just to be insulted! Lastly, there was a misunderstanding over the water. We told them that we wanted tap water when given the option for bottled or tap. Apparently they heard us wrong... which can happen, but nobody even noticed until the bill came and we got charged for bottled water. When asked about the charge on the bill, they said that they gave us bottled water and we "should have paid attention to the bottle the water was being poured from". Seriously!? I would have had no problem paying for the water if it wasn't for that response. Water gets brought out the a table in some sort of bottle, not in the palms of the waiters hands!! Who are we to rate the quality and design of the bottle! The sassy attitudes on the staff and the even more rude comments throughout the night made this a terrible experience. Another yelper wrote about the permanent eye roll of the staff... odds are good we had the same server. Went with friends for husband's birthday. The food was fantastic. The salads are huge. The octopus was Devine. The shrimp with pomegranate was a gourmet delight! The lamb was tender and just right. The salmon was good but arrived a little cold. A 4 star on food , a two on service. A little irregular with who brought what and busboy took my friends wine glass away and he still had wine in it! The food was absolutely scrumptious!!! The pork ribs came completely off the bone with a touch of the fork they were so tender and tasty. The flambé saganaki (fried cheese) was a nice show. Had a great night here for a friends birthday. Of the four of us, three got the Arni Youvetsi which was the braised lamb shank and it was devoured! I got the salmon in phyllo dough and it was delicious as well. I would highly recommend this place and I will be coming back. read more

One of our neighborhood favorites. Excellent quality, deliciously prepared "home cooked" food. We especially love lingering over a bottle of wine and 4 or 5 appetizers and mixing it up tapas style. Best olive oil I have ever tasted. Can't believe that bottle of liquid gold is just plunked down on the table. If you forgot to make reservations and have no patience to wait for a table, sitting by the bar and enjoying your meal is the next best option. Absolutely incredible! The white wine sangria is to die for! For appetizer, my husband and I got the octopus and the appetizer special of the day scallops (don't remember exactly how they were prepared). Both incredible! The sauce that the octopus is served in is amazing.. Save bread to dip in THIS sauce! Then I got the sea bass, based on someone else's review on here & my husband got the lamb chops. Sea bass was good but I was filling up at that point and they gave me 2 LARGE filets so I had to take it home. I tasted my husband's lamb chops...O...M...G!!!! They were so tender and delicious that... Let's just say we are going back in the near future so I can order that!... & get some more of that delicious White Wine Sangria... Best I ever had & I make a killer sangria myself. Sad to say but it was better then mine. :-( The decor was nice, the staff incredibly professional, friendly & nice. I am not exactly a regular, but I go here three or four times a year, and my experience from last Sunday finally prompted me to post a review. The atmosphere was festive, probably because it was Greek Easter. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was as considerate and attentive as ever could be expected. The drinks, the appetizers and salads, the main dishes--both those on the menu and the Easter specials--all fit together beautifully. Went here for Valentines day and LOVED IT.. had the grilled baby octopus app which was amazing, had an awesome charred grilled taste which was so good and was not rubbery or anything, u could cut the octopus with a fork..my husband and I also shared an app (can't remember the name) but its like a platter of 7 different dips which they serve to u w warm pita, each dip had its own unique and distint flavor.. then for entrees I had the salmon wrapped in phyllo over mushroom rissotto WITH AN OUZO YOGURT SAUCE oh my gooooodddd was AWESOME.and my husband had different seafoods in a pot which he said he enjoyed.. we had a bottle of Schug pinot noir which I would also recommend.. cozy atmosphere, fantastic service and excellent food, cookied to perfection with distinct and uniqie flavors.. would absolutely return! read more

I went for a sisters night out and we shared the Arni Ravioli (lamb ravioli) and the New York strip steak. The lamb ravioli was exquisite! You could taste the homemade in it...ravioli was opaque and not too floury or doughy. The lamb inside was ground with spices, very tasty and just the right amount of mushy but not too mushy. :) NY strip steak was of very good quality and taste. It did have some fat and gristle on it but made for good taste. I had mine medium rare but will get medium next time. A little too red for me but because of the high quality of meat I was still able to eat it. The veggies (seasonal greens) that come with the steak were delicious and in a rich buttery sauce. The patatas were kind of a let down after all the yummy we tasted. They were just seasoned French fries. Oh forgot to mention they bring you warm bread and fresh olives and olive oil. It was delicious and I believe I could have drank the olive oil by itself! Lol very smooth and buttery. We finished off dinner with Baklava for dessert. It's perfect for sharing because it comes in two small pieces drizzled with honey. Very flaky and buttery with just the right amount of sweet inside. We had a white wine comparable to Pino Grigio but I can't remember the name. Service was good. We sat out on the back patio that night which was nice but it was revealed later, we weren't the only one's having dinner...Mosquitos! But all in all it was a very good dining experience for the price which was around $120 for two including two entrees, dessert and two glasses of wine. read more

OK - full disclosure here - it's small - a tight fit and sometimes a couple may feel they are at a four-top because they are so close to their neighbors, I did at first, but as the food and drink arrived, I got over it and I loved this place!! This is really, really fantastic Greek food. The fried Calamari was probably the best I have ever eaten. It was not the slightest bit greasy and came with some delectable surprises of peppers, onions, and cauliflower without skimping on the calamari portions. The Baked Plaki and the Salmon entrees are both highly recommended. All in all we would say that if you are in the vicinity even if you have to go a bit out of your way, we would highly, highly recommend you stop here for some of the very best Greek food outside of Greece - really, it is that good! read more

From the freshly baked bread and authentic olive oil to the tapas still appetizers like grilled Octopus and Saganaki, to the delicious mains, the food is superb. I've been there numerous times and am always very happy. They have a particularly good white wine from Santorini as well. Visited the restaurant for the first time on a quiet Sunday with family. The restaurant is small but warm and inviting with Mediterranean accents. We had the ouzo flambé style saganaki, the lettuce and arugula salad, and the grilled calamari - all delicious. The winner was the grilled bronzino which was very tender and flavorful. The sokolatina dessert was also very good. The waiting and bussing service were attentive and on point throughout the dinner. Overall I'm glad I tried this restaurant and look for to visit it again to try something else. Yiamas! read more
