Update '26! Better and better. Honestly, the quality of Let's Go...a year on is better. Their consistency and devotion to customer satisfaction is so refreshing and commendable. I got a two skewer combo with shrimp and pork (and remembered to ask for my fries well done). Everything about this plate was spot on from the marinades, to the seasoning to the temperature. The fries are STELLAR! Much more like the rustic fried potatoes that you find in a Greek taverna. We stopped by for a gyro to go and will def be back! The man at the counter was super nice and helpful, the happy hour also goes until 6 Mon-Fri half off beer and wine. The Chicken Kalamaki was excellent. It was flavorful and grilled to perfection. For dessert, the Portokalopita (Greek orange cake) was also very good. It wasn't cheap but the food reminded me of my trip to Greece. The orange cake was one of the reasons I chose Let's Go Ya Souvlakia. It's a super sweet dessert but I think I like it more than Greek baklava. I also enjoyed the fresh Greek salad. I did not like the pita bread - oily. A Gem on Flatbush! Delicious beef and lamb. Massive portion for super reasonable price. But the biggest surprise were the EXCELLENT VIBES on the back patio. I've had the chicken gyro pita twice--once in the restaurant and once as takeout--and it was excellent both times. My experience with the service when I dined in was very warm; the cashier was friendly and helpful, even offering to set up seating in the backyard in case I wanted to sit there (it had rained beforehand). My pickup takeout experience was quick and easy. The restaurant itself is casual but decorated nicely with Greek inspired touches. It is spacious with a good amount of seating, and the food tastes fresh with dependable quality. Great addition to the neighborhood. I look forward to inviting friends here in the future. read more

We ordered from here on DoorDash. It was the first day of the vacation and my daughter and I dis not feel like going to a restaurant, or really anywhere. We each ordered an item and split the items. The Greek salad was very good. The feta was so flavorful and real zesty. The rest of the salad was delicious. The gyro was absolutely smothered in sauce. I really wanted to like this place seeing as Prospect Heights is severely lacking in Greek restaurants - but the food always tastes too salty, greasy, and overcooked. And the lemon potatoes are also beyond salty. We've ordered from here twice and eaten here once hoping it would somehow taste better in person but... it just didn't. I enjoyed my bowl outside of their "ya sauce" and the very salty chicken skewer however . The rice , roasted veggies and peppers were really delicious . The ya sauce is absolutely the worst sauce I've ever had with a meal . It was so bad I threw it out instantly and took some bbq out from the fridge . The bbq sauce couldn't lift the chicken sufficiently for me to enjoy the meat . It was cooked slightly too much giving it a char which combined with the saltiness really made it borderline avoidable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and is just perfect for the summer vibes . Ya gets 5 stars for a tasty beef and lamb gyro that was also well portioned for the money. Nice,soft yet not too chewy pita, and they didn't skimp on the meat either - all for $10. Glancing at dishes that were being delivered to other tables, the platters looked tempting too. We elected to eat there since they have indoor tables and outdoor tables on a back patio. The place was not too busy around 6pm and the food came out quickly. The fries with feta could have been crispier, but they were well seasoned and hot so I was happy with them. They came with a side of their house 'Ya' sauce, which to be honest I'm not sure exactly what it was, some sort of mustard aioli, but it tasted good and went well with the fries. Really great platters! It's a little pricey for what feels like a fast casual kinda place but the few times I've been in the people making the food and taking the orders are SO personable and nice. Their small platters are a decent portion of food and the large is a ton. Could barely finish mine! Would def go for the lamb. Take out review We got the gyro family platter and holy cow. It was a lot of food. Easily could've fed four people. The food was absolutely delicious and we love the pita, tzatziki, gyro. I've walked by this new Greek place so many times and finally decided to pop in. I absolutely did not regret it. The portion sizes are HUGE and the prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. In 2024, a gyro pita is only $10 (with fries inside) and a plate is $18, but has enough protein for about 3 meals. Get the Ya Piato, since it comes with the three gyro meats! Fries were absolutely delicious. Hand cut, crispy and very good seasoning. Everything tastes homemade and delicious. Definitely stop by if you're in the neighborhood! read more

Really sad to see this place go, but it's time. We're regulars. In fact, we've been regulars since they opened. Tonight, with no warning, they charged us $10 more for 2 Kalamaki bowls. Chicken & pork. Same bowls we always get. My biggest issue is when you're part of a community and you suddenly raise your prices that drastically, you should absolutely let customers know. But hey...they might miss a sale or 2 that way! We'll leave this at "once, shame on you." Buyer beware. read more

Gyro sandwich: great pita, good meat, good price, but overall just meh. Personally, I don't like fries in my gyro sandwich; the fries are good, and I'd rather just eat them on the side. Tzatziki a little too thick for my tastes (it added to the dry effect of the gyro, rather than lubricating things). The tomatoes were actually revolting--the most mealy tomatoes I've ever had the misfortune of tasting, so I pulled those out after a few bites. So between the dry tomatoes, the thick tzatziki, and the fries in there, the whole sandwich was kind of pasty. But worst of all, it seemed like it had no salt on it, so it was also pretty flavorless. A few tweaks would make this a great gyro: a little more salt all around, a slightly looser and more flavorful tzatziki, better (and more) onions, and good god, please, better tomatoes. And at least for me; I'd ask for the fries on the side only. Greek salad: those tomatoes were at least 50% of the salad, and they were inedible (seriously, the worst I've ever had--you know what I mean: it's February, and these are the prototypical tomatoes picked green, then refrigerated for six months and let to slowly "ripen" to a grainy, mushy pink mess with no resemblance of tomato in any way). This time of year, at least, if you're going to lean so heavily on tomatoes, you have to just use hothouse grape tomatoes if you can't get a decent regular one. The rest of the salad was fine, but again, totally underseasoned. Seemed to be dressed in oil and vinegar, with a pinch of oregano--which would be fine if the ingredients (those darned tomatoes) were decent. But in the absence of delicious ingredients, you need a punchy dressing to make up for things (hence the ubiquitous "Greek dressing" with all it's salt and sugar and garlic, etc)... The fries: GREAT, once we added a good bit of salt to them. Would I ever go again? Maybe I'd try it once more, since it's down the street. The ingredients were (except those tomatoes) fresh and the prices were right; mostly it was a serious under-seasoning issue. Perhaps I'd get a family platter, so everything would be easy to season myself with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon, at least...? For reference, for me, the standard-bearer for this kind of Greek place is the old Spartan Souvlaki in Sunset Park/Bay Ridge (RIP!!). I also love the food at Avlee in Carroll Gardens. read more

On criticism would be that they could be more generous with the tzatziki. The value was there that it so far to find these days, particularly with Mediterranean in the area.
