Sadly have to update my review! Brought my dad here on Sunday and was highly disappointed with the brunch buffet set up! The lines were extremely long to get food items and the food did not taste as fresh! The workers themselves were also not the friendliest! For the price of 30$ a person I would definitely go somewhere else to eat! read more

We came in for a brunch at El Torito. We had a table of 5, our server Gabi, she was excellent. We got bottomless mimosas, and even though the restaurant was packed the whole time Gabi was filling up all our glasses before they were completely empty. She was very attentive and made sure our table was always ok. Thank you Gabi for such great service. We truly appreciate your hard work!!! The buffet had a great selection, handmade tortillas for tacos, all the food was warm. Some of my favorites were the aguachiles, birria, and the pancakes. They also had a live band playing when we first arrived. read more

El Torito has been a go to restaurant for our family for many years. We moved recently and started coming to the location in Cypress and have been waited on by Gloria a few times now. Gloria is attentive and gets our order right. The food, as always, was great tonight and Gloria was awesome. And the lighting and music is always great too. We will return. read more

I can hear over the weekend with some friends to have some drinks. Edwin was working the bar and he was awesome. He was very helpful with any questions we had and his service was very fast even though they were pretty busy. I would recommend coming here if you are trying to have a good time with a group of people. read more

Terrible service. We had to ask the waiters multiple times to refill our drinks and even then they proceeded to take a long time to help us. We eventually got told bottomless mimosas had ended after being at the restaurant for 2.5 hours and only getting served drinks 5 times. read more

The best service and food!!! Our waiter Arturo is the best!!!! I'll definitely be coming back!!!

Came to enjoy a nice outdoor dining experience with my family and Marleni and Kelsey were very accommodating and attentive during our dinner. We received great service and the food was delicious. Tbh, dining outside isn't my favorite but it was an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you ladies. read more

I'm so glad this location has a large outdoor dining area. My boyfriend and I waited just about 5 minutes to get sat and with umbrellas everywhere, it was perfect to be sitting outside. On a safety note: all workers were wearing masks, all tables were thoroughly wiped down and disinfected, and the tables are spaced perfect. Our server, Arturo, greeted us immediately. Honestly, the hosts, manager, and our server were very genuinely nice from the beginning. We ordered small bites from the Happy Hour menu (3pm-9pm everyday) and were just glad that during this whole quarantine thing, restaurants can still offer a deal on good food. We ordered the mini steak & chorizo tacos ($6 HH) and chicken sopes ($6 HH)and street corn ($4 HH) and some $4 beers. Everything came out fast and warm and Arturo never forgot about us or our drinks. Thank you! read more

I loved this place. Gloria was helping us and she was the best! Very sweet and so accommodating. I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. read more

Wow!! It's been a while that we have come here for brunch. It was delicious!! The food was on point and so much variety!! The omelette and taco bar were very busy but super fast!! The sweet corn cake and tomatillo salsa were better than I remember them. The servers were so nice and Daisy never let my wife's champagne glass reach empty and she was great!! read more

Wife and I went for Taco Tuesday, the tacos are a bit pricey at $3 for each. They now include the charro beans and sweet cornbread mash to justify the price for the tacos. Meats were Asada, Carnitas, Chicken, and Pastor. I had one of each except for Pastor. All the meats were charred up with tenderness on the inside, served on a homemade corn tortilla with any normal toppings you choose (cilantro, onion, cabbage, cheese and either red or green salsa. These are El Torito tacos so do not compare to authentic Mexican tacos but they were packed with meat and fresh so zero complaints. Our server, Gloria was very attentive and cordial. She made the review bump to 5 stars, if she is your waitresses you will be well taken care of throughout your meal and when ready for the check. read more

First brunch post Covid19-2020...the year of wtf is next? Anyway, El Torito's first Sunday Brunch was welcome and appreciated. They've taken measures to ensure customers feel comfortable and safe coming back into the restaurant. As usual, the food is AMAZING and our wonderful server, Gloria, took great care of us. Not just just service wise, but respecting distancing, contact with table items, etc. So glad El Torito is open, and that Sunday Brunch is back. Some great things have come from out of the quarantimes, including table starters of chilaquiles, fresh fruit bowl and of course chips and salsa. As always, it remains a bottomless champagne/mimosa brunch, now with $5 Cadillac margaritas! Stoked we can enjoy brunch again. read more

Gloria, our server, was very friendly and kind. She answered our questions about the menu, refilled our water regularly, and brought the check out quickly when we were done. I love that she calls everyone "Amiga" or "amigos" it was a welcoming environment. The food was typical Mexican food, but if I'm honest, it's mostly food white people like, nothing deeply authentic or unique. It's standard burritos, tacos, fajitas... And the prices are outrageous when you take that into account. My favorite dish was the summer series "Crispy Flautes" with jack cheese, topped with cotija cheese, crema fresca, pico de gallo and served with jalapeño jelly and red pepper dip. SO good, I could eat 10 of them. read more

Gloria was so nice, and gave us the best service, checked in on us multiple times to see if we were doing okay. very attentive

Catering order was perfect. Got it on time and exactly what we ordered. Thank you Maribel and Juan.

Great Service , Brunch food and ambiance . We sat in the bar to be able to enjoy all NFL games offered on this beautiful Sunday and our server was great. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of our food but we had a little bit of everything from tacos to made to order omelette bar. Soup and hot food bar was great, replenished with hot food regularly. Would most definitely return again. Also wanna give out great thanks to our server Samuel L. who provided great service as well as stayed true to the bottomless mimosas! read more

Party of 4 with reservations. We arrived early and were told we would be seated right away even though we were early. But we were called to be seated at the reservation time regardless. We went to brunch on Sunday for the delicious buffet and the bottomless mimosas. Service is exceptional and the food delicious. Everything was hot and fresh, and the bottomless mimosas kept coming. Rodrigo (manager) has an amazing team which keeps everything moving and clean, and Tony (bartender) is so personable and kind. I usually come in once a month for this brunch because of the atmosphere, food, and amazing staff. Definitely worth a visit, especially to see Tony the bartenders smile and company.
