$19.02 for all this. The nachos are so loaded I couldn't finish them. Very good. The chips don't taste like they're freshly made.... They taste more like store bought chips. But the chicken is soooooooo good. Really great nachos and especially for the price. The cocktail el cameron? (I don't know how to spell it ) Also good. There's a flavor in there I don't like in the after taste... like the juice isn't freshly made but made with store bought ingredients. This place was close to our hotel so we figured we'd give it a try the reviews are really good and people were walking in and out consistently. *** I think in the Midwest are pretty accustomed to text back so it took us a while to kind of review the menu however I settled for nachos and a birria taco. The Berea taco was a little over cooked with not much flavor sauce or cheese. My go to are chicharrones tacos usually on Tuesdays, $1.50 at the time. Been going here for years. Hopefully it stays that way for a bit since these fluctuating prices are here and there. Order them with everything and my tacos are usually bursting. Your mileage may vary but mine has been pretty consistent! The ladies at the counter are always nice even when busy. Eating in or togo the place always seems to have ample room. If there was one thing to improve, it would have to be bringing back limes instead of lemons at the salsa bar. read more

A friend of mine introduced me to this place. I love authentic style tacos. I've found some decent places and I know there're a TON of taco places throughout Los Angeles. But, this is one of the better ones. Especially in the South Bay Carson area. My family and I liked it so much that we came back the very next day. Our first order was 20 tacos. 10 Carne Asada and 10 Al Pastor. Both extremely seasoned and flavorful. Not sure to be honest which one I liked more. The second day we ordered 30 tacos because 20 wasn't enough between 10 of us! This time we ordered carne asada, al pastor, carnitas and chicharron. All were delicious. Best part about it. They're so fast! We ordered when we got there and they got all 30 tacos done in under 10 minutes! They have a self service salsa stand which went great with our tacos. Two of us ordered two Baja fish tacos, ceviche mixto, and quesadilla de camaron a la diabla. The latter is not on the menu, but if you just ask them, then they will make it for you. The quesadilla was my favorite of the three items. There was plenty of shrimp and spice! It was saucy as well, so it got a little messy. The ceviche was alright, and the fish taco was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it. I would skip the ceviche. This place has the best Mexican food in Carson! Located in the corner of the plaza is a hidden gem...my favorite Mexican restaurant I've been coming to for years! COVID-19 -- this restaurant is super clean, they require masks and only allow a certain amount of people in the store at once. Now for the food, the fish tacos are the best! I always get the Ensenada (Baja) Style tacos which is with the fried fish and it's soooo good!! I also recommend their chicharron tacos and of course could never go wrong with asada tacos, lol. My family and I have been coming here for years! Way back since it was on the corner of Carson St. & Avalon. My family and I have probably tried everything on the menu. I always enjoy getting the wet burritos (fish or carne asada) and chilaquiles en salsa roja. Carne asada is very tender and the fish is cooked Baja style--some sort of white fish beer battered topped with some veggies. As for the chilaquiles, texture's just right. Soft, but not soggy and still crisp around the edges. And of course, I can't forget the side of pickled carrots and jalapeños. Sooo good! Pickled just right and the jalapeños still have some heat to them despite the pickling. Always a positive experience from this place after all these years! read more

Parking is easy, the place gets a bit crowded at lunch but their service has never been slow in all the busy times I've been here. It's pretty standard: you stand in line, order, pay, move to the side for drinks, move a little more to the side for sauce, then you find a place to sit. Even though everything here is consistently amazing, my favorite thing about this restaurant so far is their carne asada. It's juicier than other restaurants I've been to and it's super tender. The staff is polite and they don't mind describing certain dishes to you if you need the clarity. Nothing more to add here. read more
