Taco Tuesday special
Lanae F.

I have lived near this place for many years and pass it every time I go to get on the freeway. I stopped in for taco Tuesday and enjoyed their special which includes four tacos and a drink. The tacos typically come with onions and cilantro, but instead, I paid a little extra to have cheese instead. My favorites were the asada and pastor. Salsas were good. Steady stream of customers came through while I ate inside. Convenient, no frills but there is a tv on the wall. I'll be back.

Taquitos plate
Robert G.

Ordered the taquitos plate restaurant was short on the guacamole and sour cream ate my last taquito dry with rice and beans . Plate was filling service was prompt and efficient. Came back to this location after 20 years ago was a different owner and different burger spot but remembered they had a great pastrami sandwich. Decided to stop by pastrami not on the menu anymore other dishes have been replaced also with the new owner hope they can bring back chili cheese fries. Ambiance was typical for burgers/Mexican food restaurant.

Cheese enchilada and Chorizo and Eggs

Small Mexican/American dive diner with delicious and well priced food. I kept passing this place as I work down the road so decided one day to get lunch. I was not let down. I judge a Mexican food joint by their cheese enchiladas and this place makes a delicious one. I was extra hungry so I ordered the chorizo plate with all beans (extra protein ). The customer service was great. They even pick up after you, just leave it on the table. Will be coming back again and again to try everything.

This was my first time at Pronto's Burgers Mexican Grill and from the first visit the food is good I got a carne asada burrito that was great dine in or take out I even noticed a lot of Frontline medical workers there for their lunch so it must be a popular joint they have a long wide variety of food check out their menu I will definitely go back and get something different the place is across the street from the animal vet and Carson animal shelter so if you're hungry go get some good Mexican food for breakfast lunch or dinner call in order

This was genuinely the best octopus of my life…read more I got the Spanish octopus only because I didn't feel like eating meat but it was the best decision I could've made. It was super tender and the gochujang flavoring with braised cabbage was incredible. They give you complimentary bread and the quality was great. It was warm, buttery and fluffy but that wasn't even the best part. It came with a side of butter in the shape of Porsches topped with flaky sea salt. Our server was nice and the food came out in about 15 minutes. The restaurant was relatively empty since it was close to closing time but they didn't make us feel pressured to leave. Even if you don't care about cars, I think you will still enjoy it there. I noticed a large, private room too. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to dine here. The restaurant is nicely furnished and there's a nice view of the cars driving around the track outside. FOOD The 917 Burger is surprisingly good. The bun is so soft and perfect. The patty is nice and thick but also tender, juicy and flavorful. I also loved their choice of ingredients (especially the cheese) to tie everything together. The fries were great too. SERVICE Attentive and professional. PARKING They have a large lot. It's free and easy.

The setup in the Kimono Room was beautiful, and the professionalism and kindness from the staff were exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious as well, from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad and main course, everything was wonderful. The people here genuinely care about their guests and the community. There are many tables for both larger and smaller parties. Majority of the guests seemed to be here for similar reasons. Staff was friendly but it did take awhile after placing orders for anything to come out of the kitchen. The bread basket we got within the first 10-20mins was nice. It had banana bread, dinner rolls and crisps which came with pesto butter. However, the rest of our food did take a while (almost 45mins) to come out which our party was pretty big so I guess I would say contributed to the wait. When the food did come out some of our party didn't get their order at the same time, which I will have to say takes away from the overall experience. I ordered the Pene Pasta with bolognese from the daily plates which I hoped would have been good and a bowl of soup (pumpkin soup was the soup of the day). However, there wasn't a lot of flavor to the overall dish and I found the meat bits in the sauce were crunchy for some reason. The few veggie bits in the dish were decent. The soup was good but overall nothing mind blowing. Overall the experience was a mixed bag. I don't know if I would come back unless it's another company function mainly due to the overall experience. There is plenty of parking in the back but also street parking is available.

It's dangerously close from my house too... help!! +located in Gardena Tozai plaza along with boiling point, honeymee, northern cafe and more. Such a great addition to the plaza! Plenty of parking space is available +went on Friday night around 6pm and there were few groups dining in but I was seated immediately. Looks like they have solid fan base already but hoping we see uptick in diners because their food is SO good! +workers are all lovely and super friendly. Cashier recommended their shrimp and fish burger so we ordered that and added zucchini fries & one fish taco to share as well. +the standouts were the fish and shrimp burgers! Omg they were sooooooo good. Let's start with the fish burger--it was like filet o fish but 1000% better! The fish fillet was thick cut and the batter was crispy yet fish fillet was soft and juicy. I've had some fish burger that was dry and tasteless but uncle mac's fish burger is the exact opposite. It's so good, you've got to try it! The shrimp burger is also amazing--it's well seasoned and the patty is packed with shrimp. I've had shrimp burger patty that had shrimp lumps but had weird air pockets and I would bite into clump of oil and batter but uncle Mac's shrimp patty is filled with well seasoned shrimps and it's also the best shrimp burger I've ever had! +they provide 3 sauces with your order: Thai sauce, ranch and tartar sauce. They all complimented the burgers but my personal favorite was the Thai sauce--it has a nice tang to it and it cuts the oiliness of the burgers well. Highly recommend trying with the green Thai sauce! +fish taco was good but I've had better at other spots. I'll likely not order this again but it's still a solid choice. -the only thing we didn't love were the homemade chips served with the burgers. It was stale/soft. Not an issue at all since I'm so happy with just their burgers lol Can't wait to be back to try their other items like grilled fish plates and pastas!

We ordered a $13.99 personal meal. My wife had the mac & cheese with a salad, and I had the combo pizza with a Caesar salad. We added two drinks for $1.99 each and shared a nutty coleslaw. I was surprised at how large the "personal size" mac & cheese was -- it was very generous. We ended up sharing the pizza, mac & cheese, and coleslaw and still had plenty of food. The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. Everything was delicious, but the carrot cake really stood out. Super moist, full of carrots and chunks of pineapple, and topped with an amazing cream cheese frosting. The menu says it's made from scratch, and it definitely tasted homemade. Definitely recommend! **After reading some of the 3 and 1 reviews, I'm hoping to have an equally positive experience on my next visit.

Rubbery, badly seasoned, and felt like low-quality meat. Completely different from what they serve at other locations. -BBQ sauce was off. Way too much black pepper to the point it made me cough. It's definitely not the original sauce. This didn't feel like Stonefire. It felt like a completely different restaurant trying to pass as Stonefire. Really disappointing.

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
