We were led to a corner table by Michael who greeted us at the door and was to be our server. As usual the room was noisy. (Later we asked whether the music volume could be turned down which they did, much appreciated) We scanned the menu and found it hard to not order everything! However, we started with a Martini and a Cubano Viejo - both of which were well made and went down nicely. While we were deciding we nibbled on delicious almonds. As usual we shared a number of dishes. The seasonal Croquettes, the Patatas Bravas (slightly spicy), Gambas Ajillo with extra bread to sop up the tasty sauce, and to top it all our favorite Lamb Chops. For dessert we had an excellent pistachio tart washed down with a glass of a fine Cabernet. All the dishes were excellent and deserving of the highest rating - rare for us. (Perhaps because everything jelled nicely. The check came to $140 o which we added a good tip. We had ordered too much and took some of the food home to consume the next day. Our server was very attentive and cheerful (I think we had him on a previous occasion). The experience was most enjoyable and we will certainly be back sooner than later.

They have their own parking lot in the back. It's a hot bar but also a whole restaurant lol the interior is so nice that take out is a very hard option to do because you want to dine in lol For two large entrees and a large spaghetti, it came out to be $42. This also includes a drink! I got the stewed chicken, stewed goat, and spaghetti. If you never had Dominican spaghetti before, please do try! It's super flavorful, a little sweet, and a little salty. It's so good. Stewed chicken was good but not the best. What one lacks, the other compliments. The rice here is so moist and fluffy. Along with the sides they offer. I opted for macaroni salad. Highly recommended. The stewed goat was a little salty but that's up my alley lol I can see it being a little issue for some but I love salty food lol Very disappointed they didn't have oxtails though. It was only 2pm and they were out already. Overall, let's just say, I wish this place was closer to home!!

The place was lively and noisy with patrons and an enthusiastic staff. We shared a Quesadilla de champinon, an Arrachara campesina and Split Plis. Drinks included the Casa Mahon and Mariposa-partida blanco. All the food tasted authentic and better than most such places in the city. We liked our server, Cielito, who bustled around attentively. The check for the two of us came to $ 79 (which included a somewhat unusual credit card 3% surcharge). I recommend the place to those who enjoy Mexican food.

The champurrado was like a warm hug from my grandma on a cold winter, the guacamole was perfectly made and delicious! The al pastor taco was my favorite out of the 2 tacos I tried. My pozole was also delicious but I prefer mine with a lot of lime ‍ juice in it so I asked for extra limes. My husband said his steak was the best he's had in Rhode Island. My husband ended his meal with cafe de la Hoya which is always good no matter what time of day! Very chill environment with a great view of the dog park! One block away from the Providence Performing Arts theatre so I recommend you eat before or after your show!

A friend and I came in and put our names on the waitlist, waited for about 45 minutes at a bar down the street, and then had some of the most fulfilling tapas ever! We got a Prosciutto & Salpicao board, the Queijo de Cabra, and Frijol Dip. I also got a nice portuguese red wine that paired well with some of the cheese we received. We sat in a very sweet and cozy nook and enjoyed every minute! I will be back when it's warm out and the front patio is open!

At their front patio, they had the World Cup game playing, but the back patio felt cozier so we opted for that. The inside though was a strong second since the lighting is very low, creating a cool and calm environment. Walking through the restaurant to get to our table made me realize that each table is unique, no two are decorated the same or have the same furniture. It was a hot day but the overhead mesh cover blocked out a lot of the sun. Our waitress made us feel very welcome from the start and told us about their drink and food specials. My friend ordered Guatemalan beer as well as a Spanish beer. For food, we ordered the plantain fries, octopus, calamari, and shrimp salad, and grilled lamp chops. The seafood salad came out first. According to the menu, it was going to be paired with cornbread. It looked like sourdough bread but had a far denser consistency. I was expecting the salad to have lots of shrimp to act as a filler but surprisingly, it was about 60% octopus, 25% calamari, 10% shrimp, and 5% onions. The seafood was very flavorful, tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was great for two. Next came the plantain fries, which I was least impressed with as it was essentially fried plantain chunks. I think it would have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces that can be easily dipped and consumed in one bite. The plantain was gently ripe, so just a little sweet and the dipping sauce was like a less sour sour cream. Lastly, the lamp chops came out and the presentation was wonderful. They were a bit skinnier and less tender than that I was expecting, but flavor wise they were good. We enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here.
