I do have to say, though, that I have noticed from when I was younger to now that they have definitely made their portions smaller, and they don't add the chicharrón like they did in the past. :( Still good, but because of this, I tend to go to another Colombian restaurant. Location: This location is spacious, and it's clean. Perfect to go with family or to just grab a bite. You can go casual, but some people dress up depending on how you want to go, but it's pretty casual in my opinion. They offer street parking. Service: I truly love the service. The servers that I've had here are very friendly and super loving, and they have the very beautiful Colombian accent, and it's just a vibe.

I normally don't order that because honestly it is usually served watered down. This sangria had oranges, apples, cherries and strawberries, it was refreshing and absolutely delicious. I would honestly say that you should visit here just for the sangria alone. After the sangria it only got better. We have the chimi sliders for an apps - we'll make son order s them for himself but they were so good that we may have forced him to share. I had the octopus salad, loved it. My husband had the charrasco and loved it the mamajuana burger was devoured before I realized it and the crispy chicken was also a hit All in all this place delivered on every level.

Pretty smart for the owners. So I'll eaten here quite a few times and their selections have the basics and a few different specials that usually is offered on a rotation of availability. Small dining area with a couple of tables. Primarily a take out establishment. The kitchen area is actually a larger floor space than the dining area so that means they prep and cook all day. Pretty busy the last few times I've stop by to pick up lunch on the road. That is a very good spot for a quick lunch and the selections are generally very satisfying. Definitely 1 of the better Dominican cafeterias around the neighborhood with a really good butcher shop next door and very convenient parking makes this an easy choice to make a break to Elwood Avenue so close to the the 95 exit. I recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're into the Dominican style food.

The smell coming from the restaurant was amazing, so I decided to give it a try. My first experience was excellent--a gentleman helped me, explained the menu, and the food was incredible. Unfortunately, every visit after that has been disappointing. The service has been consistently unwelcoming. I often feel like I'm an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Since I'm not familiar with all of the combination plates, I ask questions, but instead of being helped, I'm charged separately for everything and receive very small portions. I hate to say it, but as someone who isn't Hispanic, I've often felt like I wasn't welcome there. Whether that's intentional or not, that's how the experience has made me feel. No customer should leave feeling like they don't belong. I drive from Providence because the food is genuinely that good, but great food can only make up for poor customer service for so long. Sadly, I won't be returning. I truly hope they work on making every customer feel welcome because the food deserves the same quality of service.

Parking can be challenging especially seeing this restaurant runs on Lonsdale Ave a busy street in itself. The line was out the door and that's where I stood waiting patiently. The love moves at a decent pace. Here finally my turn and I honestly had no clue what to expect or what they even really sold but I was hoping they had anything that contained ham and cheese and they did, Brad with ham and cheese for $3.50 I was surprised that was all. They do gave finger foods, drinks coffee and fruit drinks, breads, pastries of many sorts. I was tempted to get a pastry but I stayed focused. The bread was actually good and tasted fresh they only concern which was a big one for me was that there was hardly any ham and cheese in it and I mean like barely none. I could have actually went with just bread as that's what I felt I received. Would I return maybe especially if I am in mood for something g sweet as the variety was plenty to choose from. There is a sit down area on both sides of the restaurant with one big screen tv. This place seems more of a grab and go type establishment. They open at 5:00am and close at I believe 9:00 pm

This place is massive, with lots of tables to dine in, and a bakery section. We ordered the following: Mondongo (pequeño), bandeja paisa, lengua sudada, and res apanada. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The serving sizes were a little bigger than normal (I am not complaining), every plate looked delicious, and all the plates were hot and fresh. The mondongo was tasty and had a good amount of tripe and the right thickness of the broth. I chuckled when I saw the side of banana, but honestly, it made for a good desert. The bandeja paisa brings a litte bit of everything and it all was cooked well. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library.
