My friends and I stopped by El Corral on 66 for dinner while staying in Williams. Overall, we had a solid experience there, but I think it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food and the experience. Personally, I was more of a fan of Obregón City Tacos, another spot in town. The service was standard and the vibes were fun - the decor was cool, with lots of Western-style decorations hanging on the walls. We did come on the later side on a weeknight, so the restaurant was pretty empty, so it was a bit hard to assess for the usual atmosphere. I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back, but our meals got the job done.

When to Williams for the train ride to the south rim and when out for dinner. I wanted to try some Mexican food when in Arizona. I am guessing chips and salsa is something you have to pay for here where I am used to getting it free. The decor has a Spanish vibe and it was clean. The chimichanga with the pork green salsa was awesome but the chicken was bland which the sauce made up. It was a recommendation from the waitress. I enjoyed the free soup which reminded me of chicken noodle soup with small noodles and the accompaniments of rice and beans were good. My wife had the tacos which she liked. Same sides but I think it had different chicken which was chunks instead of shredded. Overall it was good and enjoyed the meal.

We were greeted right when we walked in and sat right away. That same man was our waiter. He was very nice. We ordered some drinks and then our entrees soon after that. I got the chimichanga shredded beef burrito enchilada style with the red sauce, which had the best roasted chili flavor I've ever had, and it was not spicy. It came with a small cup of soup and rice and beans. I could only finish half the plate. The building itself was rectangular and small and had booths and tables. Everything we had was so delicious and the service was very attentive. I would definitely come back to eat here next time I'm in town.

Great Mexican food in Williams , great service & atmosphere, been there twice, didn't care for the cactus

    Asada Fries!

The food was so good! My mother in law and I went here on day trip and it was phenomenal. The service was great and it really felt like a family owned restaurant. I got the asada fries and my MIL got the Arizona Omelette, which had cactus on it! Everything was so good!

Every single time I come in here, the food has another dollar added to the price, or.. heaven forbid you want French fries with your cheeseburger. You can absolutely forget about it, it's al a carte my boy. That is French for- that'll be an extra 6$. Also, their "avacado" for an additional 3$ is nothing more than a prison spoon scoop full of mashed up avocado spread on to one bun about as thick a Peasley Pubic hair. Lastly, you'd think for how much they charge, you would be able to eat your food without expiring in sweat or needing goggles for my brow being absolutely drenched trying to eat my 26$ cheeseburger al a carte. Thanks guys, I also had to hit the bathroom directly on the way out. BTW - you need a plumber to come out the toilets barely flush! And I will finish with this. That is not a sour beer, that's an ipa with vinegar in it. You cured the hops 3 weeks too long.

It's got character without being too rough. The prices are what you'd expect for a sit-down spot (a bit more than you'd like for diner fare), but the food delivers: hearty, tasty portions that actually fill you up. I couldn't finish the nachos. Don't skip the lava cake -- it's rich, warm, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend! Our waitress was genuinely friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. But here's the eh best part: she handed us our cups with a big smile and said, "Y'all get whatever you want from the soda fountain -- Coke, lemonade, water, or whatever." The way she said it made it feel like it was included with the meal. I usually stick with water, but I went for a Sprite instead... and yep, it turned out to be extra. Fool me once, shame on me -- but honestly, it was still a fun, generous touch that made the whole experience feel welcoming. Reminded of of Flo from Mel's Diner (Xers will get that reference) It's attached to a fun little gift shop packed with Route 66 souvenirs and trinkets. Perfect for grabbing a memento after your meal. If you're cruising the historic highway, this is a solid, satisfying stop. Good food, friendly service, and that old-school roadside charm -- definitely worth pulling in!

It was around 6 pm on a Wednesday and there were only about 6 guest in the restaurant. We were seated immediately and our server, a very polite young man( first day as a server) took our drink orders. He came quickly with our drinks and took our order. We ordered potato skins for an appetizer, they were good, not great. A little bland but they were huge! My wife ordered the St Louis Ribs which were the special for the day. She said they were delicious. Our son ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He ate every bite. Said it was real good. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin which was cooked perfect. I also had mashed potatoes and gravy which were delicious as well. The gravy had an awesome taste. The food was great, the young man ( and woman) who waited on us were great ( very attentive), the only drawback was it was a little pricey, but so close to the Grand Canyon I can see why. Each town along the route offers something different, from nostalgic diners that feel frozen in time to unexpectedly refined restaurants that rival bigger cities. Located on Route 66 in downtown Williams, my partner and I decided on lunch at the Pizza Factory. We were greeted by the staff and got a table inside a casual vibe featuring auto racing decor, Baja, Rally, and NASCAR with various TVs showing sports. Their menu offers pizza, calzones, and Italian pastas, as well as a small salad bar. They are known for their hand-tossed pizzas made with dough made in-house and 100% real mozzarella cheese. I decided on the mini 8" pepperoni pizza (4 slices.) The pizza had a crispy bottom, ample toppings, and enough sauce, making it taste good. Nor did the toppings slide off. My partner got the veggie calzone. The food was all made fresh to order, and ingredients were on point!
