I'm giving 1 stars because it was edible, but I'm very disappointed, angry and sad - and Colonel Sanders would roll over in his grave if he knew what I have gone through in a gastronomic sense. I had a bucket of eight piece original recipe chicken for the road trip, and three barbecue tenders. You could tell by the look, the taste, and the lack of its usual heat, that all the chicken was fried and sat out longer than it should've been according to policy. And the original recipe was very flavorless. If I was a homeless person on the street, the chicken would be a welcome meal, but I'm not. This all sucks, terribly, but the road trip must go on. An unscheduled stop at this KFC had brought us both good foods and good spirits! Shannon greeted us with a big beautiful smile and her service was truly above and beyond. Her cheerful demeanor brightens our day, gave us a much needed energy for our 6.5-hour drive home. The food came quickly, fresh and hot! I was waiting in line and Lorena took the order of everyone else in front of me. When it was my turn she just left. I was literally the only person in line and nobody else in the restaurant acknowledged my existence. I waited for 20 mins and got fed up and left. Fast food service is usually nothing to write home about, but this left a really bad taste my in mouth. Don't expect much from Lorena or any of the other staff there. We placed an online order for two chicken sandwiches/10 pieces of chicken nuggets, fries and drinks. The chicken sandwiches had a sour taste to them, we called and spoke to first a young lady who put a man (who was supposed to be the manager) on the phone. He indicated that he would check the chicken and to come in the next day for a refund. He took my name and said he would leave it with the manager as he was off the next day. When I got there the next day, she indicated that she was the manager the night before (in other words, I was lying), and that she knew nothing of my complaint. I at that point said that she could just forget it, and that I would never come back to this KFC again, AND WE ARE LOCALS. This is not their first mistake with us, but it sure is the last. This location sets the bar so low that it's pretty impossible to miss. Orders are wrong 90% of the time, food over or under cooked, orders take 15+ minutes for simple things (we've waited as long as an hour for a larger order for our family of six). It is never clean, employees leaning on the walls looking at their phones while the entire lobby is trashed. It's the only KFC up north, and in a tourist trap. Ordered 16pc chicken strip family meal, 4 sides, with an additional 6 strips. When I opened up the box I noticed that there were only 14 strips and that they had cut the strips in half up the middle (to increase the count without using more chicken I assume). If they were short on chicken they could've just said something and I'd of ordered something else. Instead they tried to stretch 7 chicken strips and sell them to me for the price of 22 ($78 for this meal). I wouldn't be writing this review if it was just a simple counting mistake, but the blatant attempt to cut corners and save a few bucks on strips is insane to me. They didn't give me my sweet corn, they gave me a mac and cheese, my sister order regular fries and mashed potatoes and only received the mashed potato, charged me .50 cents and didn't give my lemonade and gave me cups to fill with a machine that had no ice nor carbonation. The employees seemed annoyed when I told them about the lack of carbonation in the lobby's soda machine. I hate that I order online and everything is in their window but they couldn't get my order right. I was reading online they are always out of stuff and I think it looks bad in your company that your employees maybe assumed they could put whatever they wanted instead of asking. The resolution was to come and pick up the order. When I got to the store, Chris the manager was already prepared for us. Order had been prepared and waiting for our pick up. This level of customer service was refreshing, as we have had continued lack of this level of customer service at our hometown location in El Cajon, California. There is some positive here, so skip to the end if you don't want a bummer. Unfortunately, there's a lot of negative. And some of it is probably out of their control, so believe me when I say I'm giving them some real benefit of the doubt here. It was New Year's Eve. Had I done my due diligence, I would have noticed that several of the restaurants in Williams were planning to be closed. We made our way into town looking at a number of options, and one by one they were eliminated. Several spots were closed. That put a lot of pressure on the rest of the restaurants that were open, and though we were seated in one, things got COVID icky fast, so we opted to leave. That puts you in a small town in Arizona on NYE with nowhere to go. Luckily, it turned out to be a fun adventure, and we just laughed at how anticlimactic NYE really is. This was perfect. So, still hungry and not wanting to capitulate and just go to the grocery store, we ended up at KFC. It's food. It's a drive-thru so COVID crowds wouldn't be an issue. Great plan, right? A few other people had the idea, and there were about six cars in front of us. But that should move fast, right? We waited. And waited. Every 5-7 minutes we'd pull forward, but after the first two cars, we had to pull into the lane with the building on one side and no exit on the other. once you're in the lane, there's no escape. Cars behind, cars in front. We were stuck with our decision and we just hoped things would speed up. And they didn't. Forever, for the rest of my life, when people talk about hilariously bad New Years Eve experience, I will talk about the time I spent 45 minutes in line at a KFC. Forty-five. Cuarenta y cinco minutos. Once we had ordered (about 35 minutes in) things got faster. And actually, when we pulled up to the window and paid, they handed us our food and we were off. Hopefully that was encouraging to the folks behind us. The food was okay. It had been rushed, and there was a lot (but like, A LOT) of breading on a couple of the pieces. But overall it was fine. We had biscuits, mashed potatoes, cole slaw; if you're going to do it, do it right on NYE. We had a lot of food. Maybe they got caught off guard. And I don't know how long the people ahead of me had been there. But 45 minutes for 6 or seven cars ahead of you... it's really just too long. The positive: Honestly, I was in the very best company so it was fine in the end. We laughed about it. We played games. We had a lovely evening. That's the true measure of a relationship. Find someone who you can sit in line with at KFC on New Years Eve. read more

Clorna is the manager of this location & was the person who not only took our order, brought half of our order out to us & STOLE money from us. Clorna took our order and told us at the window it was $33 even, didn't tell us that she charged us for a foundation donation without even bothering to ask us which is STEALING. she then brought out half of our order & couldn't remember taking our order, and asked for a reciept that she didn't give us.. she said she would walk us back out the other half of the food that was missing [a whole meal, silverware, drink, sauces, and a side item] after an additional 15 minutes I had to walk in to request my food, a drive thru worker told me that was her manager and sorry there was nothing she can do. Though not sure based on their size the thighs were chicken but closer to a Sparrow's thigh...and we're not talking about Pirate Jack Sparrow!! The 3rd piece was not a thigh but a breast!?! A VERY DRY CHICKEN BREAST. Bolsa Wood DRY! You know the kind of dry that a chicken breast can get sitting under the heat lamp for over an hour!? The employees were very fast and friendly. We stopped during lunch time and it got full of customers very fast. They did have a mixup with our orders but they fixed it very quickly. The wait was not long and the food was good. Tasted like any other KFC and Taco Bell restaurants. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean, it seems to be a newer restaurant judging by the looks of it. It is also close to everything in William's. DO NOT COME HERE!!! My husband and my 1 year old daughter and I came here to get some lunch before going to Bearizona. It was somewhat busy, but not too crazy. We come inside and there's a group of tourists in front of us who are figuring out their order. Right away, we could already tell the short highschool aged chick at the register was just not having a good day. I saw her be rude to the tourist who ordered before us so I knew she was probably going to be that way with us. We go up to order and my husband tries to be nice and says hi, how are you, etc. and she literally doesn't say anything or even give a little smile. He starts ordering and I already feel uncomfortable because of her attitude. We order a kids meal for my daughter and she asks me a question about applesauce and milk, but she talked so fast and unclear that I didn't fully understand what she asked, so she repeated her question again in a very condescending tone like I was stupid. I told her, there's no reason to be rude to me im just trying to order and of course she doesn't say a word. So my husband tries to continue ordering and asks me what I want but at that point I am so pissed with how she's treating us that I told my husband no I'm not spending money here and talking to her and I walked out. As I was leaving I told her there's no reason to be rude to customers who are being friendly, I've worked at plenty of food service jobs before and I was never rude to nice customers, she didn't make eye contact with me at all and just looked straight ahead as if she couldn't hear me but I knew she could. Probably wasn't expecting me to say anything to her but she needs to know her service is horrible and theres no excuse for being nasty I don't care if you're having a bad day or you hate your job don't take it out on people who are being nice to you and aren't doing anything wrong. But after reading the rest of the reviews and seeing how disgusting it is inside, I'm so glad I didn't end up eating here yesterday. Short Review: 7pm crew has good service. ----- Long Review: Normally I don't give fast food places good reviews, I just happened to be passing thru an was skeptical about spending money here given that the online order system was down an the place had almost no light (likely a power grid failure). However, they exceeded expectations. I was able to get the items available online at the same prices. I even got 3 tacos with the proper amount of cheese and uncontaminated by other ingredients. I would have taken a picture of said taco but I ate it before I could write this. Out of 4 tacos 3 were ideal. Not bad, considering that most places cannot get the portions right. What happened with taco #4? Human error I suppose, given the long line of cars an that this is a 2 in one stop kfc/tacobell I will let that slide this time. I still believe the location is good, attitude is everything as a customer. Be nice to the crew an they won't jack your order. A common occurrence that we all know if we worked that job we would do the same if others were rude to us. Other tacobells could learn from this location. read more

We were looking for something simple for lunch and like the KFC options. Unfortunately, this location is not like many other KFC's. Although the staff is friendly and helpful (the one positive here), the food is some of the worst I've ever had at KFC. I ordered the chicken breast meal that came with a side of macaroni and cheese, a biscuit, a drink, and a cookie. First, my chicken breast was so overcooked that I had to peel the leatherlike, original recipe skin off because I could not bite through it. The meat beneath was dry and sliverlike. I figure that I only got maybe 1 ounce of meat that I could actually eat. The macaroni and cheese was also very dry and flavorless. The biscuit was very small, as well as the mass-produced flavorless cookie which came in a sealed bag versus the typical toll house style cookie that comes in a paper sleeve and is baked on-site. Consistently, KFC branches have the same yummy fried chicken. This branch in Williams, AZ was no exception. The main differences between locations is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the customer service. Cleanliness rates 2.5 stars for this branch. We were there for about an hour, and no staff member ever came out to wipe down the tables or sweep up. They were not even busy with customers. Customer service was 2 stars. The elderly man behind the counter never greeted us even though we greeted him. His response was to stare at us blankly with a frown on his face. Well, at least he got our order correct.
