The line was long and because the staff was backed up, the cashier told us that he had to stop taking orders for a little while so that the kitchen staff could keep up with the orders. So I stood in line for an unnecessarily long while before I could place my order. I ordered a boneless chicken meal. The boneless chicken was basically pieces of chicken cut off from the breast of the chicken. I would have had more meat by ordering the bone-in chicken. We were told then that they are not accepting cash AND they have no chicken. Imagine that...KFC has no chicken. Actually that was fine with us because we just wanted the side of mashed potatoes. When I finally get to the window I was shocked to see the Lady in the window with No mask on and the gentleman she was talking to had a bandana around his neck. One of the worst fast food experiences I have ever had. Friends and I were driving home from the Grand Canyon and we stopped for food. We tried to go to McDonalds first but it was super crowded from two tour bus groups. For this reason we decided to go across the street to KFC/Taco Bell. Bad decision. There was about 8 people in front of us in line and it appeared there were only 3 people working behind the counter - one working register, one on the drive-thru, and one making the food. It took about 20 minutes to get to the front and make our order and the cashier was very rude. We tried to stay pleasant because we could tell she was having a hectic day. Once ordered, it took 28 minutes to get our food. Almost every table was occupied with people in the same situation. Our "fast food" stop took over an hour and put everyone in a bad mood for the drive home. Ironically, the food was actually pretty good and the decor inside was very nice, too bad our experience had already been ruined. read more

Well, I'm certainly glad that I have the ability to review this awful place. There is practically nothing to eat between the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, so you have to suffer with what's available. That said, you'd think these twerps could put a little effort into their food preparation. First, this combo place was out of chicken legs. I took it home and discovered that they must be using midget chickens now because the legs were so small !! The longest one measured about 3 1/2 inches long, the shortest one was 2 1/2 inches long. They looked like they were cut from the wings, you know...the drumette? Or they came from a Rock Cornish hen, the little tiny ones in the freezer at the grocer. ? Our experience was very poor. We ordered our food and it never came until we went up and inquired about it. Somehow it got lost and was never made. It was a struggle to watch the employees flounder through their work. There also appeared to be a manager sitting in the dining room working on paper work. Went through about a month ago, several mistakes with our large order. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, because they were slammed. Ordered online today and picked it up, after a very long wait spent watching the kitchen staff goof around. (Cashier was trying at least). Was in a hurry (thus looking for fast food) and drove 25 miles home without checking my order. They were not terribly busy, so I figured I shouldn't have to. Lesson learned. Service was very friendly. Other than that, I can't say anything else positive. The restaurant was a mess. Food, mud, and trash all over the dining room. Bathroom was filthy. There were no toilet seat covers, nor were there even any holders for them, so I guess that just wasn't an option. Water only came out scalding hot. This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I have been to a lot of bad ones. They had 2 employees, who had no motivation to work quickly. The drive through was shut-down and was basically an extra parking lot with a truck backed into it. The service was incredibly slow, 25 minutes to be served at a fast food place. When the food came it was pretty nasty. The trash cans were not emptied by the employees so people had to leave their trash on their table. The place was a dump. read more

The chicken was good as expected, but that's the only thing that went well at this location. I placed my order and paid online, and arrived at the restaurant at the designated completion time. They had not even started with the order. They seemed confused, but put the to-go order together. Upon arrival back at the hotel we noticed the biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy was missing; there was coleslaw, which I made a note not to include. How many ways can you get an order wrong? Well, at the KFC in Williams, AZ, all but one. I ordered 16 piece bucket thighs and legs with large side of mashed potatoes and gravy half original and half crispy with small Pepsi. After a long wait, they sent the 16 piece bucket but that was all that was right. Had to ask for Pepsi and they had totally forgotten it. They also gave me a mix of wings, breast, thighs, and legs all original recipe and totally forgot the mashed potatoes and gravy. None of which I caught until I got home.
