Skillet breakfast served with no skillet? Omelette maybe?
    Kelly M.

We love all day breakfast places and was hoping to add this to our list of go-to establishments. It started off well with a great looking interior and a really nice waitress. We put in our order and waited. And waited. When the food finally came out it was a bit confusing. The skillet breakfast was not in a skillet and the potatoes were on the side so it looked like a depressed and flat round omelette. My dining partner requested her crepe without cheese and it came with cheese. The waitress apologized for the cheese and said she had the chef make another without it. She left the mistake crepe on our table so we tried it. The crepe was really dense and thick. It was more a wrap than a crepe, and it was kind of thick for a wrap too. I found something on my dish that could be a hair or could be from corn or something else - I don't know. I just pulled it off and laid it aside, not eating the area it came from. The second crepe came out and... it had cheese in it again. We didn't even bother to tell the waitress as we had already been there a while and were fairly over the entire experience. The crepe was again really dense and more like a wrap than anything else. We couldn't figure why the place was so busy as our meals took a long time to get to us, were jacked up, and worst of all had no flavor. We noticed almost everyone else was drinking. So I guess this is a place you go if you primarily want to drink and the food is secondary. If you're actually interested in the food, like we are, this may not be the place for you. We're not returning.

Eggsuberant Pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and potatoes

Nice size restaurant on a dead end road. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered the eggsuberant (pancakes, eggs, choice of meat and potatoes). The pancakes were ok but the star of the show were the potatoes. They were flavorful and cooked perfectly.

This is a cute place. I hear there's usually a wait, but we had reservations so we just waited a short while. There was so much to choose from and I decided to get a cappuccino. I did not expect it to be so tiny, but it is a true cappuccino. I wanted to add a bit of sugar, and it took a long time to flag down. the waiter. I ordered the chicken and waffles and then Chicken came burnt as you can see. I had to send Chicken back and get a new one which was a wait but understandable. when I did receive new chicken it was flavorless thank goodness for the syrup. The breakfast potatoes are absolutely delicious though. I would give them another chance since the menu is so extensive, I'm sure there's something else that I would like.

This place has some good but expensive dishes. I checked the menu before I came, but I didn't anticipate French toast being $18. Still, the service was great, and the decor is very hip. They had some seasonal specials which is nice. I went with the French toast flambe - which was a unique and tasty take on a classic breakfast stable. It came topped with fruit and flambéed with an orange liqueur, so it was a really interesting flavor. We also got an All-American, which for eggs, potatoes, bacon, ham, and sausage. It was good, but $17 for a standard breakfast. The coffee was nice, and we were never with an empty cup. The cups led us to the story of the franchise owner Bobby Pancake, which is just such a whimsical name for a breakfast place owner, I just love it. There were definitely a lot of larger parties, so this seems like a good place to meet friends/family for breakfast/brunch, especially because they serve drinks. This is more a place for that than for a quick bite to eat.

I had a very nice breakfast experience here. Very pleased with our meals. I got the veggie crepe with a side of cheesy grits. Both were good but the grits were top notch! Service was friendly and prompt. We made a reservation. This place gets packed on weekend mornings.

Place is great. Very relaxed. The food is delicious had me dancing . Will definitely be back.

I first want to say I loved our server Ed. He was attentive despite it being a busy time of the day in a large restaurant and he got our order exactly right the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the French toast and the pork belly. The shrimp and grits was also seasoned very well. As well as the huevos Ranchos. The only thing we could complain about was the garlic bread. It was a bit doughy.

    Chicken and waffles

Delicious! The Chicken and waffles were perfect! We made sure to get reservations because we went on Mother's Day. Service was incredible and the food was so delicious. They were very busy, but the food got out very timely. The ambience was also amazing. I love the updated decor and the space between tables. I would absolutely go again and highly recommend if you're in the area.

Came here for the first time , wait was 45 mins without reservation on a Sunday . After waiting hostess placed me and my family at a table that was broken . The hostess was asked if we can move tables she stated another 15 minute wait . Then I asked the waitress Juliana, was great she grabbed the manager for me and kindly placed our order . My food was amazing along with the peach mimosa with pineapple juice . I do not recommend their orange juice it is high in pulp . But I will be returning hopefully there are better wait times .

Visited this lovely brunch location with my friends today and had a great experience! The ambiance was great as it was a lovely open space with lots of room. There were also tables outdoors. For brunch I ordered a vanilla latte as well as the smoked salmon benny -- both were delicious! The smoked salmon eggs Benedict came with a side of fresh fruit which tasted fresh and yummy. Overall the experience was great, albeit a bit pricey compared to other brunch spots, even in Philadelphia where things can get pretty expensive.

You had me at brunch. First time visiting Eggspectation and did not leave dissapointed. They have a pretty extensive menu and even have a bar area. Not looking to dine in just yet? Don't worry they have a separate to go area. I ordered the French Toast Flambé without the walnuts. The brioche bread was phenomenal and the orange brandy liqueur was the right touch. I also ordered the hot chocolate which was perfect since it was a chilly day. Great place worth checking out. There was so much on the menu that I would like to come back to try.

This place ALWAYS has a wait. I'm not sure if they take reservations because we walked in to sit at the bar. The Bar: They have an impressive breakfast/lunch drink menu and even holiday beer options. The bar is pretty long and can accommodate a good amount of patrons with still having elbow room. The Food: This menu is a little more unique than First Watch I think. They have some more creative options and are known for their chicken and waffles (which runs about $19). My boyfriend and I both ordered one of the egg breakfast options. Mine was a classic breakfast with potatoes, eggs, and pancakes (super fluffy). My boyfriend ordered the Huevos Rancheros which looks big but it's just two tortas with some beans, meat, eggs, and avocado. Both dishes were around ($12). Service: We obviously had the bartender as our server. She was great while also serving some high tops. They seemed a little short staffed but she knew what she was doing. Definitely a place to try if you haven't already!

I came to Eggspectation for breakfast and did not leave disappointed. Upon entering, the place was packed. Fortunately, I was able to score a seat at the bar. I ordered the Eggsuberant, which was a customizable breakfast platter. I had sunny side ups, sausages, and pancakes. The plate also came with Lyonnaise-style potatoes, but since I'm allergic to potatoes, I opted for toast. Overall, the service was fast despite the volume of people at the restaurant, and the food was pretty good too. My only minor complaint is that I wish that they had provided me with more bread; Lyonnaise-style potatoes are pretty fancy, and my substitution consisted of only a single measly slice of bread that was cut into two halves.

Good morning everyone,…read more Let me start by saying I've lived in this area since 2015, and I'm honestly upset I didn't discover this place sooner. I'm not that old, but the nostalgia this restaurant brings back reminds me of waking up with my family and my father taking us out for a great breakfast. The staff here are simply amazing. It's easy to see why people keep coming back. The restaurant has been in operation since 1975, and that alone tells you they're doing something right. Back to the staff--these ladies and gentlemen treat you like you've been a regular since day one. Today, I'm seated in a small booth by the entrance, and as someone who enjoys people-watching, I've been paying attention to how they interact with customers. They truly have a gift for conversation. The small, personal exchanges they have with each guest show a real attention to detail. For some customers, they know personal details--asking about family members and sharing genuine concern. For others just passing through, they take the time to learn where they're from, how long they're staying, and wish them well on their visit. They work seamlessly as a team. Everyone steps in to support one another, and no one misses a beat. It's a well-oiled machine, and their experience clearly shows. I'm not sure how long some of them have been here, but larger companies could definitely learn a thing or two from this level of teamwork and service. They are attentive, friendly, and professional. Lastly, the food--absolutely outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, and I've tried several different meals without a single disappointment. And the coffee? Excellent. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. If you're looking for a welcoming, people-friendly atmosphere with great food and even better coffee, I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.

What occurred was far below any reasonable standard of customer service and left me feeling unsafe and disrespected. During my visit, a male server verbally accosted me -- using profane language, making threatening remarks, and treating me in a wholly disrespectful manner. This behavior was entirely unprovoked and completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone a dining establishment. What made the situation worse was the response from management. Despite the incident taking place, the manager on duty took no meaningful action to address the situation, offer an apology, or ensure my safety and comfort as a customer. Their inaction sent a clear message that this kind of conduct is tolerated at your restaurant. I am requesting the following: 1. A formal written acknowledgment of this complaint 2. A full investigation into the conduct of the staff member involved 3. Appropriate disciplinary action against both the server and the manager who failed to act 4. A direct response to me outlining the steps taken I sincerely hope Turning Point takes this matter seriously. No customer should ever be subjected to threats or verbal abuse, and no manager should stand by while it happens. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Kwame

Not sure how long they're doing it though. As I took a look at the menu - at first glance it seems like a standard American bar menu with burgers, fries, nachos, salads, wings, and sandwhiches, but upon further reading I noticed the ingredience are a bit diffrent. This is where it really stands out. Subtle changes to some classic foods really shines at this place. Example: PeeBee & Jay Burger/Dirty Kettle Chips Overall we had a pleasant experience at this place and really feels like we could be regulars. Service is good, food is good, drinks, good, and portion sizes are excellent. (2) Alcoholic beverages, (1) appitizer, and (2) entrees. Bill came out to about $61. Helped us pick items on the menu, gave us really accurate descriptions of the foods and drinks. Great personality energy and helpful, Drinks: beer and seasonal sangria (good) Food: Caribbean Sweet Potato Fries - We ordered a small, the portion size was great to share for twc people. The jerk sauce gives the fries a spicy kick to them which is a slow build up the more you eat. The salsa was great and really balanced out the spice, 1 appreciate the quality of mangos being just perfect (not too tarte or super sweet). Sweet potatos weren't very sweet but that was fine with me since I generally don't eat sweet potatos. These were propbably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Fish Tacos with a side of garden salad with Herb Vinegrett dressing - Fish Tacos were good. the sauce was spicy, a lot spicier than I expected. Fish was well fried and good size. It didn't have a fishy taste to them so it felt fresh. The Herb Vinegrett dressing was sooooo goooood. I wish i had more of it. I can't even describe it other than it was so good. Chopped Santa Fe Salad with requested Jerked Chicken - Chicken was well cooked and juicy. Just the right amount of dressing and chicken. Ratio of sauce to salad was well balanced. Jerked chicken had its own flavor which added to the salad as a whole.Overall really good.
