I opted for the "Fairfax": cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun, then added bacon! I've been here a couple of times over the years and the quality is hit or miss. For the most part, the eggs are cooked to perfection so you'll never have to worry about that. But sometimes the brioche bread can taste stale. And it's been like this since before the pandemic. Because it's brioche roulette, I usually go for the Slut, but they tend to run out of those quickly. That happened to me when I went a few weeks ago so I got one of the sandwiches. The brioche tasted stale. They had also ran out of sausages after I placed my order so I substituted for bacon. I didn't mind that so much. You can't go wrong with bacon. The space is pretty good inside. There's not many tables outside, but the turnaround time is quick. Parking is a hassle in that part of Glendale so you'll need to be patient. I like Eggslut overall so I'll continue to dine here and their other locations. read more

I never had such meals with eggs in that elevated way! It was more than amazing. I feel like I never had a good egg meals before, until I got their Slut- it sounds weird but it is true. Definitely try the Slut, it's beyond my expectation. Another plus thing is they open early in the morning. I ordered through Uber Eats and it took 30min from the time I placed the order until I got the heaven drip in my mouth, so it's pretty quick. We went here for brunch. There was a bit of wait for the food but it wasn't too long. And the food was delicious! I always like to add avocado in my breakfast sandwiches and the avocado passed. Perfectly ripe. I like how the sandwiches are wrapped as well, it made eating less messy. My favorite was the truffle hash browns. MUST TRY if you love truffles. It was nice and crispy and the truffle flavor was so delicious. I wanted to buy a second one. There was a space for parking behind the restaurants but not free. I only had an inkling of the hype surrounding this chain, since the one in Las Vegas is very highly regarded. It's always mentioned as being one of the best breakfast spots. Anyway, I found myself staying in Glendale and was pleased so see there was an Eggslut within walking distance. Finally I could see what the fuss is about! Well, it's a good sandwich. Not a great sandwich, but good. I got the sausage, egg and cheese and everything was cooked well. The brioche bun was soft and tasty, and the aioli sauce complemented it perfectly. Even their coffee was pretty good. That being said, this is literally just an egg sandwich. I don't understand the obsession with this chain nor the long lines it attracts. If you're in the area definitely try it for breakfast but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

We came around 10am ish on a Sat morning, and there was already a long line. It took about 20 min to place our order, but our food came out shortly after. I like that they have a speaker set up in the front, so you can wait outside and hear them call out your order very clearly. My bf ordered their new Turkey Egg sandwich and I ordered their classic slut. Delicious and lived up to expectations. Nothing new to report here. My biggest grievance is that even though on the outside there is a CLEAR SIGN that you must wear masks inside, the employees were not enforcing this rule. It was grossly uncomfortable that there were some smug-looking jerks lining up inside without any masks on, clearly enjoying their self-inflated superiority in non-compliance. That is so unacceptable, and makes me lose respect for this establishment. I would have given this place 4-5 stars had this not been the case, since the food was good, the wait wasn't crazy bad, but the customers around made getting food here a very uncomfortable experience. Hate the line and the time it takes. Loveeee the food and everything else about this place. Yes the prices are right on brand for Los Angeles. Im from New York where a bacon egg and cheese isn't more than $5. Believe the hype, yes it is that good. Plus it is filling! I wasn't hungry for the entire day! Busy for a Sunday brunch time, but the wait here is not too bad. Parking can be kind of tricky, which there is a parking lot directly behind the store, but if you're lucky, you can find a spot there. Otherwise, there is a parking structure 90 minutes free adjacent to this plaza. In line, the cashier even gave us a free cup of orange juice for waiting, really nice of them! My bf and I ordered the Fairfax sandwich and it was really nice! The eggs were really fluffy and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. It was a bit greasy and difficult to eat since it feels really oily, but overall it tasted pretty good. The sriracha mayo complements it really well too! We even tried their truffle hashbrowns, those were pretty good too. They are about the size (or a bit smaller) than a McDonalds chicken nugget, but they were nicely flavored from the truffle. Everything was absolutely perfect except for the sandwich, and for $16 I would expect a five ingredient breakfast sandwich to be perfect. Unfortunately, i'm saddened to have to leave this review but I think it's necessary for management to know. Just recently on April 3rd, I returned to Eggslut for the second time because the first time I ate there, the food was amazing. I drove down from San Dimas because their french toast is really good! However, this time around the food did not taste as good and fresh as the first time. The bacon felt fatty, the avocado was hard, they were out of the sauce that comes with the french toast, and it just wasn't what it was from the first time I tried it. I didn't mind too much because I assumed maybe it was just a bad day for them but I felt the need to leave this review because not even 20 minutes after eating this meal, my stomach was very upset, I felt nauseous and I threw up my entire meal. The fact that I threw up almost immediately after eating shows there was something wrong with the food. The food is quite expensive and I spent just under $30 for all the food, just for me and my partner to get sick from it 20 minutes later after driving over 30+ minutes. I was not able to go back due to the far drive but this was a big let down. I'm not too sure what went wrong or if the food possibly had cross contamination but it did put me off from wanting to come back which is a bummer! So happy there's an Eggslut in Glendale! It's located in such a prime location in Glendale by the Americana and the Glendale Galleria. I got here around 9:30 for breakfast and it wasn't busy yet. Service: 5/5 The person that rang us up was very nice, gave us some suggestions even though we already knew what we wanted. We also sat at the bar and they were training new people to make our sandwiches and guys... there's just so much appreciation for the work it takes to make our delicious food. The cooks and preppers don't get much credit for all they do because they're behind the scenes, but I appreciate them so much! I had my order delivered to work via Postmate and it was ny first time trying Eggslut. Heard aboht this place for a while but too lazy to drive to Glendale. It was raining that day so food got cold but it still tasted delicious. I got a medium rare cheese burger and a truffle hash brown. Burger patty was juicy, the egg yolk popped which acted like a sauce for the burger. They gave me a lot of napkins and it was the most helpful thing considering how messy this dish is. The size is big enough to make you full without any sides. All of their sandwiches are delicious and freshly made with soft buttery bun. Located a food the street from the Americana you can easily park there and just walk over. They do have a parking lot in the back but it's almost always packed. Quick and good service.
