Eggs and things is a solid choice for breakfast. After you order, they bring you 1 Swedish pancake to enjoy while you're waiting on your food. I typically order French toast or pancakes here with a side of ham. Good place to come with kids. Busy weekend mornings

This is such a great breakfast place! It is always clean, the staff is always nice and everything I've ever eaten here has been delicious!

What went well...um everything!! Eggs N Things got them thangs! Wonderful restaurant, I usually visit the one in Valencia, but today I was in Ventura and Eggs N Things travels well. Chicken fried steak for the win today, yummy biscuit and gravy. My Mom ordered something they have on the menu at the Valencia location, but not this location. Check my picture for the deets! They were busy today, but everything was perfect. This place is a well oiled machine and our waitress Shayla was totally spectacular!! Great, great customer service. My Mom requested a Valencia location menu item, Shayla didn't bat an eyelash putting it all together a al crate for her and for cheaper then the Valencia location and a bigger serving.....shhhh, don't tell the Valencia location. Thank you Eggs N Things for a wonderful Sunday breakfast this morning and thank you Shayla for supreme customer service.

Always a great meal! The sandwich is phenomenal. Service is always great. And don't forget Swedish pancakes!

I am not a French toast person. I am not the person who goes anywhere and orders a French toast. Neither do I make them at home because I'm just not a fan. HOWEVER, egg n things might have just changed the game for me. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted French toast with coconut flakes and syrup and it was incredible! Tasty all around! And they don't just put a little sprinkle of macadamia nuts. It's everywhere and I love it! I was actually even able to share it with someone because there was so much of it but next time I might just have to eat it all myself. I ordered it with the side of bacon and eggs and everything was up to par. I'm so excited to explore the menu here.

I was on my way to solvang for vacation and made a stop for breakfast. I came here around 10:30am on a Sunday and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Our waitress came by and took our order and the food came out quickly and hot! They have a ton of booths and tables inside but it does get busy. Our food was great! The breakfast burrito had sausage, egg, cheese and potato with sour cream and salsa on the side. It was so hot and tasted fresh. The Swedish pancakes are always amazing and delicious! I'm sad there isn't a location closer but if I'm headed this way I'll be back!

Free crape to start your appetite off!!

Prices are the best in town! Fast and friendly service and fantastic food! Don't let the line outside deter you from stopping in. The wait is never long. This is our breakfast/lunch staple

I believe I had this place to go before and I wasn't a fan then either. We were supposed to go to the Cam location but this one had no wait time so we came here - once again ... not a fan . The only thing I finished was the hash browns. The crepes were flavorless, even with the fruit. My husband enjoyed his French toast but my brother didn't care for his either. The service was great though! The establishment was clean. The pepper sauce was AMAZING!! I want to try the Camarillo location & see & maybe try this location for lunch but other than that - I'll pass.

It is great for any special occasion and offers inside and outside dining. I suggested this restaurant to my out of town guests to celebrate my dear friend's birthday. Rumfish did not disappoint. The Spring weather is beautiful in Ventura so we sat outside. Service is prompt and casual. It was crowded even on a Thursday evening, but the outdoor area is spacious. Everything from appetizers to dessert is fresh and first class. Seafood options are plentiful and seasoned perfectly. The only downside is that parking is limited - only one handicapped spot for two busy restaurants. No parking signs prevent street parking up Palm.

The restaurant has a really cute Mediterranean/Italian vibe with gorgeous lemon trees and comfy patio seating. It was chilly outside, but the heaters made it comfortable. Staff was friendly, just very busy because of the holiday. Food took around an hour, but understandable for Mother's Day. The food was excellent. I got the flatbread with apricot jam and bacon, and it was such a good mix of sweet and savory with fresh arugula on top. Definitely recommend it. My boyfriend got the wagyu burger medium with fries and everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. Other people at our table got shrimp and corn, fish tacos, and burgers, and everything looked really good. Great place, will come back

In Ventura's industrial area, the Cave is a nice, cozy restaurant that is hidden in the Ventura Wine Company shop. We were greeted by live music which made a lively atmosphere. They have the self vending wine machine with a decent variety of wines for all. I'm going to be honest - I did question the pour size. We ended up buying a bottle of wine at dinner instead and I'm pretty sure that was the economical choice plus it gave me peace of mind. I will say - the plating of the food is strange. Giant plates for small portions never really sits well with me. The kitchen's "thinly sliced" waygu steak was also off putting visually. The Jumbo Scallops w/Leek & Truffle Risotto ($46) is a must order. Scallops perfectly pan seared and that risotto I would eat by itself. The Lemon Chardonnay sauce was incredible. The Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs ($39) was okay. The meat fell apart as it should. The red wine sauce was okay but lacked depth. The creamy mashed potatoes were very good and seasoned perfectly. Wasn't mad that I tried it but would not order again. Wagyu Top Sirloin 12 oz. ($48) was very good despite the poor slicing. The creamy mushroom sauce was perfect to add some flavor but not overpower the protein. The Pepperoni Pizza ($18) was decent for my son. My daughter planned to order the Seafood Pasta until she saw all of her favorite things combined: Mac and cheese, bacon and pizza - the Mac and Cheese Pizza ($21) was honestly top notch. It wasn't overly heavy, the depth of flavor was great and it's extremely tasty. The spicy aioli was top notch. Overall, a good experience at the Cave. I recommend giving it a try.

At 9:30AM there was already a line with about 5 parties ahead of us. We only waited for about 20 minutes and we were able to sit al fresco to enjoy the sun & people watching. I loved their signature Breakfast Lasagna, which was fully stacked and hearty - layers of bacon, bechamel, prosciutto cotto, spinach, eggs, and mozzarella, all smothered in marinara and topped with a fried egg. It's more than filling and great to share with someone who ordered brunch entree on the sweet side like pancakes or Belgium waffles. My husband had the Chicken Avocado Bacon Panini with Swiss & cheddar cheeses, butter lettuce, garlic aioli and caramelized onions. He asked to omit the roma tomatoes. I had a bite and it was yummy...great for a lunchy entree. We finished the meal with another season menu item, the Pistachio Ricotta Cake. I could have ordered two...not to share, just for me. It was really good and I hope they keep it to their standard menu. The service was at a slower pace, but the server did check on us periodically.
