FAIL EGGS N THINGS. Hubby went to eat there with a coworker after a work meeting and asked if I wanted anything. I looked at the menu and decided on the breakfast croissant. "Ham or bacon. I came here with the intention of trying a new breakfast restaurant and everything was going so good and just as I thought the food was tasting delicious, the waitress had to ruin the whole experience and made me feel so unwelcome and rushed to have to leave by bringing our check while we were still eating, we had only had our plates for no longer than 10 min, I still wanted some drink refills but with her bringing the check she made me and my family feel as we were in a rush and had to leave. The whole time we're here I never saw her being the check to other parties in the restaurant.I'm a family of 4 and to spend $80 on breakfast we could have received better hospitality. I realize helping homeless people, however, when their smell beyond disgusting that the manager or what looked like the manager opens both front doors after letting him in tells you they shouldn't be in the restaurant. It was so disgusting because they sat him behind me and the horrendous smell spoiled my breakfast that we had to leave and not finish. When paying, asked the cashier if they always do that and we're told no, we give them food to go. So when I asked why you let that homeless guy in...she couldn't answer and just smiled. Love this veggie wrap because it is loaded with avocado (please do not change this...ever)! We come here to Eggs N Things a bit because our kiddos love the breakfast combo and the complimentary crepes. Service is generally pretty good...with coffee and drink refills. Foods great. That's never the issue. The issues here are unfair treatment between customers. I won't be spending anymore of my money here. I'm taking an ethical stance against business that treat minorities poorly and won't be spending my money here. As I walked into the building to put my name on the list I watched a white family being called for their table over a Latino family. When they went inside to find out what happened they were immediately seated. This isn't the first time I've witnessed this. After watching that unfold I had another family cut in front of me. The french toast was so good, but I was missing the eggs and bacon that should have been served with French toast. And I did not make a big deal out of it, (because it wasn't really a big deal). We just asked for the charges for what was missing to be removed. Overall, my general thoughts are very positive and I was happy with our breakfast experience. Even if it was an imperfect service. The server was attentive and she went on break and her co-worker temporarily filled in and provided the same attentive and helpful attitude as our server had done. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone, looking for a decent breakfast, at a reasonable cost with super friendly service. (No ones perfect and mistakes happen. Their breakfast is incredible. I have never had a problem with their breakfast and I've been consistently happy with it every time. Today I went for lunch with my grandma. The lunch left me less than impressed. She got the chicken melt and the meat was so tough that she physically wasn't able to cut it up. I had to step in with my steak knife and give it a go. She said it tasted fine but she felt like it had been cooked and left sitting for a long time. I had the cheeseburger. Lots of wet iceburg lettuce and what felt like a pre cooked patty. Tasted fine but didn't live up to the expectation that my breakfast experiences had built up. read more

My biggest issue with this establishment is their lack of knowledge and care on wether their ingredients carry peanuts/nuts or the risk of cross contamination. I have a child with severe allergies to these items and they couldn't assure me if her waffles were safe to eat. I am hugely disappointed. You are also strictly prohibited from bringing a single cup of coffee by the entrance staff despite assuring them that I was going to buy their coffee.
