This place was great! Scotty at the front of the restaurant is wonderful! He gives advice on what to do and what to see, and is the friendliest person on the island. He is the reason we came back a second time during our 10 day trip. The food and the service were top notch, the menu is very extensive. I recommend the Hawaiian Loco Moco plate. I'm so disappointed in the Ko'Olina Eggs 'n Things management! We visited this location earlier this week on our vacation and our group showed vaccinations cards and home test results and were seated with zero issue. Yesterday we went back because we loved the food and apparently a different manager was working and she would not accept at home testing that day. She would not talk to us herself after repeated requests to speak with the manager but sent someone else to tell us it was state law. When we called them on that not being true they then told us they were privately owned and didn't have to accept. While that may be true, I called the flagship store and spoke with the manager there. He said that was not true and they did accept at home tests. Extremely disappointed in the Ko'Olina location....vacation visitors BEWARE!!!! read more

There was one guy working when we called in our order, who was so friendly! However, the food was so incredibly expensive (which obviously is common in areas like Ko'Olina in Hawaii), but the QUALITY of the food was pretty bad and NOT worth it (I don't mind paying more if it's going to be good). Probably the worst, most bland eggs benedict i've ever had (I even make them better at home), my sister ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict and she was only able to eat a quarter of one because the way it was smoked or something made it so salty it was inedible. When calling the store to ask for our $15 back (yes $15 for eggs benedict) the woman we got ahold of and also the manager didn't care in the least, and wanted us to drive it all the way back to their restaurant which is FAR and also isn't hygienic cause you know.. covid- and would not budge with giving our money back (even though we didn't even tell them how subpar the other food was). We finally called back and the friendly male individual answered and easily gave us our money back without any hassle. For brunch one day, my husband and I decided to try out the new Eggs 'n Things in Ko Olina. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes before we were seated. The tables are really close to each other. It felt a little cramped in there. We sat pretty close to the station where workers were filling drinks so the background noise was mostly the sound of ice being scooped out of the ice machine and being poured into cups. My husband had the vegetarian omelet and I got a loco moco. Everything tasted good. However the $40 check made me realize that I just had breakfast at a restaurant that caters to neighboring hotel guests and since I'm a local resident I should have just saved my money and gone to Zippy's for half the price. read more

Waiting .... We ordered on the app at 8:40. We were told to pick it up at 8:59. We arrived to pick it up and they said they have no control over their app. It could take 40 minutes. Why would you have an app that promises food you can't deliver? The wait here is ridiculous. Someone seated at a table told me he's been waiting 50 minutes for eggs and bacon and still doesn't have it. Unless you want to have a very very leisurely breakfast 2-3 hours, I don't recommend it. Still waiting for food 45 minutes later and they won't give us a refund. One hour from ordering we received our food. It was good. The Mac nut waffles had great flavor and enjoyed the coconut and guava syrup. The bacon was ok, but 3 slices for $6.00 on take out is quite steep. The meal was not cheap. If it would have been served in the restaurant in a timely manner it would have been ok Hawaiian pricing. But for ordering to go by the app and waiting for an hour this was ridiculous. read more

Really clean, really cool. Staff is super nice and the coffee is strong (loved it). I'd love to give them more stars but the food was just OK. My kids rainbow pancakes for $20 was so not worth $20. Three small pancakes with a little fruit and a ton of whip cream. My kids loved it but it was not worth the money. My Ohana and I decided to try this establishment after wanting to try this restaurant for years. Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best. We were seated quickly but waited about 15 minutes to get a menu which by the was thrown down in a stack in front of us. We didn't get waited on for another 10 minutes while all the other customers were being attended to. When the waitress finally came around she was far from enthusiastic to take our orders and 10 minutes later we got water without ice. After our order was placed we waited for 30 minutes to receive our food. Our water wasn't filled and we had to wait what seemed like 20 minutes to get a refill because that's when our waitress decided to check on us. Looking around the restaurant and seeing the staff talking story and laughing while we waited patiently to be served was disheartening. For the price we paid for the food it was less than satisfactory due to the service. When we got up to pay the staff were eager beavers to take care of us in hopes of receiving a tip but auwe no can. I will however say toward the end of our experience Cy was the only server that came to our table and periodically checked on how we were and gave us ICED water. Shame on the management and staff. In the customer service industry especially hospitality you serve everyone with aloha no mater if they are kamaāina or malihini. read more

Great addition to Ko Olina. Now we have a spot for a reasonably priced, high quality breakfast. The ham and cheese omelet is excellent as are the hot cakes. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict. Made with real ham and an excellent hollandaise sauce. Service is excellent with very friendly staff. Just started reopening at 4 PM for dinner. Have not had a chance to explore the dinner menu but will be back in late December to give it a try. read more

Just picked up an order of eggs benedict that we ordered online and specifically noted to have fish and seafood allergies. When I came home and opened the container there were pieces of salmon underneath the eggs and potatoes. This is one of our go to places for breakfast. Their menu is very big and there are options for all. The Keiki menu could be bigger considering all the options they have otherwise. There is usually a wait list but we have never had to wait longer than 20 minutes and the guy at the front will try his best to keep people entertained. He is really nice and kinda funny! We used to sit outside because well we are in Hawaii and the weather is always nice, but lately we have been sitting inside to avoid the flies. I order the bacon, potato, cheese omelet and my husband the crab cake Benedict. They are both delicious but sometimes they leave the poached eggs too hard so the yolk doesn't run which my husband is usually not pleased about. The blueberry sour cream crepes were really delicious and the serving size is large enough to share. We started getting the Hawaiian sorbet for our 5-year old and now I basically refuse to not get it because the flavors are absolutely delicious. The restaurant is clean and the waiters/waitresses move pretty efficiently. Lots of seating that are usually pretty full and the place is always noisy but it doesn't bother us. If a quiet breakfast is what you are looking for this is not the place for you, otherwise the food is yummy and i would definitely give it a try. The reason for the 4 stars is only because the eggs Benedict have been hard a couple if times but no other complaints. read more

I wanted Eggs Benedict and instead of going to some of my usual suspects, I decided to give this place a try. They have 3 other locations on Oahu and this is the 4th one. I've always wanted to try them but they're always so busy. The portions are generous... The Portugese sausage slices on the place were huge. Nice and thick, eggs scrambled very well with the a nice scoop of rice. The steak and eggs plate was also done nicely and they give you 3 options of steak seasoning before cooking it. That is not something you usually get with other restaurants. They also had a chicken mango (yes, mango) sausage. You can definitely taste the mango without being overwhelmed by it. However, my disappointment was the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolk oozed out of them when I broke it. They gave several slices of Candian bacon. However, the most disappointing was the hollandaise sauce. Taste more like a gravy with yellow food coloring and had no flavor to speak of. No lemon, no butter... just a sauce poured over the top. I enjoyed the pancakes with the guava syrup. We did receive excellent service from the staff but whatever you do, do not order the bennie. You will be disappointed by it read more
