Who ever was the Manager on 4/11/21. She has no customer service. For someone who's visiting the island of hawaii and I haven't had any bad service until I came across that manager that day.the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful but of course nothing is resolve with the manager giving bad customer service. read more

Don't go here unless you just gotta have an all American breakfast in paradise. They have a decent breakfast but why go half way over the Pacific to have a breakfast you can have any place on the mainland. Visiting Hawaii for vacation and this place has been talked about all over Instagram and tiktok even by the locals , so I had to try , I would first like to say the customer service was ok ! It wasnt over and beyond but it was too bad ! The food was alright, if you like a whole bunch of whip cream and sugar on your food this is your place to go ! The turkey bacon might have been the best thing on the menu I tried today the eggs were okay too not too die for but tasty . There were SO many employees and none tended to tables regularly. Our food also took about 30 minutes to come out and it was basic pancakes and eggs (and restaurant was not packed). This place is something you must try! The spam and eggs were delicious. The Loco Moco was amazing. I'll start with the spam and eggs. The spam was cooked to perfection. It was crispy, flavorful, and had such a great texture. Spam, in my opinion, when it's not cooked right has a gross texture. This place has perfected spam. The eggs were fluffy and were nice and warm. The Loco Moco was very popular amongst my party. Everyone loved it. The jalapeño fried rice was bursting with spice and seasoning. The show stopper at the table was the rib eye steak. It was outstanding!!! It was like a party in my mouth. We were fighting the person that ordered it for more and more bites. The house rub really brings out the natural flavor of the steak. It was nice and tender and juicy. We are coming back again for dinner just so we can all have it. To top everything off we shared the pineapple pancakes. Those were the best pancakes that I have every had. They are a bit denser and fuller than regular pancakes. They also come with their own side of whipped cream. I feel like an idiot for not ordering my own. There was a long wait to be here and most of us were starving but it was 100% worth it. Nothing special about this place and over priced. Tried the Mac nut pancakes and loco moco. Meal was about $30 which would be fine if it was amazing, but it was bland. The loco moco had no flavor in the gravy or meat patty. The Mac nut pancakes were a decent portion size, but it was just plain pancakes with a little chopped nuts. The syrup was so watery. Tried the guava syrup and maple syrup too and the maple was best! So disappointed! Guava syrup was so sugary and watery too. They didn't use real fruit.Overall the meal was something I could have made better at home. Service was mediocre. Waitress was not very attentive with our waters or checking up on us. read more

So sad. I really like eggs and things but this location has let me down yet again. Went there today and were seated quickly due to breakfast rush was done. A young lady came and gave us drinks then came back to take our order. Everything was going well but 45 mins in an we hadn't received our food and the table next to us had when they ordered way after us. Come to find out the order was never placed with all the managers and seemed to be most if the wait staff outside in a meeting. Wait time is ridiculous...very inefficient check-in, seating, paying process. Definitely not for someone who wants a quick breakfast. We are currently waiting outside in the hot sun at the express eggs and things. This is the most inefficient system I have seen at a restaurant. They would rather make you wait outside than seat you. The reasoning provided by the host was that the kitchen can not produce food fast enough. Slow food production + waiting outside doesn't seem like an "express" system to me. The food is good but would recommend going to a different location. read more

Egg 'n Things is a restaurant we always eat when visiting Waikiki or even Japan. So when we found out there is an Egg 'n Things location right here at Ko Olina which we are staying we were quite excited. The food, just like any other Eggs 'n Thing location, is just pure awesomeness that we come to expect from them. However, what really made me leaving this 5-stars review is actually the fact that our to-go order had a missing item that we only found out after we got back to our hotel. We called, and the staff was super apologetic and offered ways to make it right. In fact, they went over and beyond to make things right!! We got so impressed that I told my wife this will be the only breakfast place for me during our 6-day stay here! read more

We have been going to Eggs 'n Things for over 30 years and found it disheartening after we tried to have breakfast at the Ko Olina location. It is obvious that they are critically understaffed as the service was, to put it bluntly, pathetic. They were slow to get to the table, refreshing of drinks non-existent, and the food had not arrived for over 40 minutes before we elected to leave. The couple next to us got served their meals 8 minutes apart! With a huge crowd waiting outside, it took them at least 15 minutes to clear tables around us and as we left, there were at least 6 tops not seated. People were waiting over 10 minutes for the cashier and the phone kept consistently ringing because there was no one to answer. It was obvious that much of the staff and kitchen were overwhelmed with take-out orders and neglected the dine-in service. The management should decide on either having take-out or dine-in service because it was painfully obvious that they could not perform both within average abilities. Perhaps they do not care because of the high percentage of tourist patrons who won't come back.. Auwe, another local establishment off our list. How the kamaaina's must suffer. read more

Ate here one night for dinner. The wait was a little long because the restaurant is extremely small. The staff is friendly though and makes up for the longer than expected wait time. I ended up getting a ham and cheese omelet with potatoes. The food was okay...diner quality food without the insane amount of grease. The price was about what I would expect for a restaurant in Hawaii. The biggest problem with this place was that when I went, there were only two visible employees. There were a lot of tables that weren't cleaned immediately (meaning that there were empty tables while people were waiting to sit), making things less than efficient. Ate here with my family in November 2018 while staying at Aulani. We all loved our breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu has lots of great items, very large selection. Prices were typical island cost. The food tasted awesome. Everything was delicious and the portion size was generous. Would eat here again. read more

They were soggy and tasteless, and the ratio of toppings was way off (far too much Nutella for so little fruit).
