Amazing breakfast! Unbelievable service. A definite must. The experience and meal is definitely worth any wait.

Decent food but I had to deal with rough service. They only recently opened the Ko Olina location so it is somewhat expected. My to go order took 40 min to cook. They set 15-20 min expectations. This was at 11:30am on a weekday. There were only about 5 other tables in the restaurant. I'm sure they'll eventually work things out. I enjoyed what I ordered after the lengthy wait. Vacationers beware: we've been to 30 establishments for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails, various tours and more from Waikiki to north shore to ko olina since we arrived in Oahu and without exception, they rejected our printed vaccination card and wanted to see the official website version along with our id... makes perfect sense to us! So we stopped carrying the printed vaccination card. Eggs n things would not accept the state safe travels website info along with our drivers license. So we waited a half hour and were turned away. The person at the counter told us we should have read the sign. Who knew they can make their own rules and reject the state rules that we've followed since our arrival. I guess they feel they don't have to have a focus on their customers because they have enough local business. Loss of our business won't hurt then but we will never go to this establishment in future trips read more

I've only been to the Ko Olina location twice and both times were disappointing. The first time was back in March for a friend's birthday brunch. They told us the wait would be 30-45 mins and by that my friends and I knew it was busy. We waited and eventually got seated outside. It took a while for a server to come by to even get our drink orders, but seeing as how the tables around us weren't even cleaned yet (there were at least 10 birds eating off the table) it gave us a sign that it would take a while for someone to help us. When we ordered our food, 4 people including myself ordered the kalua pig benedict. Our waiter asked how we would like our eggs (soft, medium, or hard poached) which I honestly was surprised at because poached eggs are typically runny. I was the only one who asked for soft and my 3 other friends asked medium. When our food came out, they were all hard, practically hard boiled texture. I also asked for lilikoi butter for my side of pancakes, but it never came and I was still charged for it. The server took forever, our food wasn't that great, and the check took a while to get to us so I wasn't about to wait longer just for our server to give us another receipt. 6/14/2021 Decided to try out Eggs'n things again with a friend who's never been. My boyfriend went to put his name down and they told him the wait was about 25-30mins because they had new staff working. We got seated pretty quick, but the main guy in the front just yelled out our name and another party's name and said "pick any table that's clean". The other party rushed inside to try and get a spot, but we planned to sit outside anyways. We sat at a "clean" table and they ended up moving us to a small table anyways because a larger party came in and we only had 3 people. We had a young server and he was nice, took our drinks and came back to ask if we were ready to order. We were still scoping the menu so we asked for a little more time, but he didn't come back for another 20 mins and only checked up on the two bigger parties that sat next to us. Eventually we ordered our food and more drinks. Their Jalapeño Bacon fried rice and eggs were alright, and their Kim Chee fried rice barely had any kimchi that it was almost plain. We ordered mimosas and 2 mai tais. The mimosas were alright, a little heavy on the champagne, but it made it worth the $8. My friend's mai tai was well mixed, but mine tasted like rum with only a splash of pineapple (they also don't use a darker rum so it came out looking different than I'm used to). read more

Pretty good breakfast. The Macarena I pancakes had good flavor but were a bit dry. It took quite a bit of syrup to moisten them up. The Polynesian sausage was great. I also had the short ribs with eggs. It was packed with flavor. Worth a try. The menu has many choices to choose from. read more

My visit was utter disappointment. Got seated at the bar counter and awkwardly tended to by a waitress who stood behind us vice someone behind the bar. The manager stood behind the bar making fruit bowls & never once asked us if we needed anything or how were our meals. My wife got an omelette which was not prepared how ordered and the cheese was gross - you could tell it was a cheap product. I ordered the steak & eggs - steak was paper thin and over cooked. Overall wait staff was not cordial or attentive and there was inappropriate conversation between manager and waitress that should not occur in front of customers. Will never return. read more

We thought this was a great breakfast location, though we arent too picky. I see 9ther reviews that talk about poor service, but everything went well for us. We were one of the first customera because we were up early due to the time change. It was a little pricey compared to what we are used to in Texas, but definitely cheaper than the resort. My husband and two kids loved what they ordered, and so did I-- omelets, pancakes, chicken mango sausage, etc. Would go back. read more

Really really good breakfast restaurant! They have daily specials on the TVs and a large menu with something for everyone! Everyone in my family loved their food and was pretty happy with the service (our waitress was Brittany)! I give this place four stars only because two other parties of four were seated before us when we had our our name down first. The one family had a baby so it was understandable, but it would have been nice of the hostess to communicate to us that she was seating these other families first for a reason rather than saying nothing and having us feel like she forgot about us. First visit was for breakfast, brunch. Everything went great. We did have to wait but the hostess was so sweet she kept us informed of our wait time. The food was good and the service was great. We decided to go back for dinner last night but when we walked up we thought perhaps they were closed because no one was in the restaurant. We finally noticed someone sitting at the bar, So we went in . The service was lackluster at best. The waitress gave me the impression that we were disturbing her TV watching time. Another waiter finally appeared along with two more families. But when it was time to check out there was no one to be found. We could've easily walked out without paying. If you are going to be open for dinner, update your menu and your website to indicate that you're open for dinner. Instead of watching TV maybe your staff should stand outside if there are no customers and talk to the people passing by. People may not realize your open. One other thing when I asked for a refill on my Arnold Palmer I was told I would have to pay for another drink! Really? Tea is cheap but they said it was because they use real juice for the lemonade. Food was wrong and late and some meals did not come out and then charged ala carts for meals that should have been together. Bill was wrong three times and not one "we're sorry" or " can I get you something else. The place was not busy and no offer of refills on the coffee or water. Dirty. I lost my appetite when we were seated at a table with a wet dirty table rag draped over the frosted glass partition. My breakfast plate had a previous meal dried on leftovers on it as well as the coffee cup had previous coffee stain/rings around it. I've been here several time and will never go back. Very dissatisfied with management and with the food. I ordered crab cakes eggs Benedict and my eggs were hard boiled. It took me 15 minutes to flag the waitress down, at this point I was eating out of hunger. I let the waitress know and showed her the complete hard boiled eggs and said I would continue to eat it because I was hungry and also knowing by the time they brought me a new plate, my family would be done eating. I stated that I did not want to pay for the meal. When the check came they had not taken the meal out, I asked the waitress to and she came back and said they could only take 50% off THAT meal because I had eaten out of it. I asked to talk to the manager, they sent someone else, I asked for the manager again, the manager finally showed up and stated she was sorry but that is all she could do (50% off my specific meal) I ended up refusing the discount out of principal. Three stars is "aok" according to Yelp but I would say this place is more Meh than ok. 9 am: get in line, 1 ahead of us, lady gives us menus 902: order at hostess kiosk 903: go inside, wait in line to pay/tip 906: seated outside 933: meals come [Wow long wait] 10 parties now in line to order. Hate to tell them it's gonna be 45-60 minutes before they eat. Food was pretty greasy, not much in presentation or pizazz. Would not spend eleven big ones for an omelette that I could make better at home. Overall nice idea, setting is nice although the grocery truck's engine across the street was on the whole time and was loud. And friendly staff. Maybe give it some more time since it's pretty new, and the kitchen today was "messed up" (overheard staff apologizing to table next to us due delay), but for now I would avoid it, especially during peak hours. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch after spending the day at the beach. The walk over from Aulani is quick and easy. The food was excellent, we had coconut pancakes and Moco Loco. It came out fast and hot. Service however was terrible. I had to ask for the coffee I ordered, and then I had to ask for cream and butter. Our server never came around to offer more coffee or water. After finishing our meal we waited for a check. Never came, so we had to ask for that also. We really enjoyed the food....but the service left alot to be desired. read more

I don't know if it was because we were apart of the Memorial Day rush or what, but the hostess was so rude. I checked in since I got the text saying my table was ready. She asked for my name, I told her, and she looked away without saying anything. Did you want us to wait outside until our table was ready or continue to stand in the way????? Then she's talking to the servers about what table to seat us in. They decide on one and she starts walking there and didn't even tell us to follow her, nothing. How we supposed to read your mind if I wasn't being ni'ele and listening to your convo w the server? There was a lot of waiting while we were seated and the whole time as she's walking around the restaurant she has this stink attitude, rolling her eyes, and even when her coworkers are talking to her she answered without looking towards them and even gave them attitude. She ruined the vibe. Maybe she had a bad day or something but sis, like any other person who hates their job, fake it till you make it or find something you'd like better. read more

The corned beef hash loco moco was absolutely delicious. The gravy was yummy, and they poached my eggs perfectly. There is a television in the restaurant so I could watch SportsCenter before the Super Bowl. This is some of the best Hawaiian food that I have tasted in Kapolei. We came here today with our son who is severely autistic and has an obsession with counting down to things. Well, we counted down to Eggs & Things from about 26 days, and today was the day! We planned on going at the end of the day when it's usually more slow and less triggers for our son so put our name on the virtual waitlist at about 1:15 knowing that they're open until 2:00. Waitlist said wait time was less than 5 minutes and we were still 15 minutes out so chose the 10-20 minute timeframe. Arrived and had to circle the parking lot 5 times before finding a spot since you are not allowed to check in until your entire party is there. Finally found a spot and checked in about 1:30 to find a restaurant with chairs stacked up and the hostess saying that they were only open to takeout (even though they're open until 2:00). I said that we were on the waitlist and showed her my phone which showed that we were #2 on the list and she graciously apologized and asked the woman in charge if we could be seated. Woman said no. #1 Why add us to the waitlist outside of the timeframe that you seat people? #2 Most places seat people until their "closing time", if that's not your case then say that last seating is at xx:xx. Really good pancakes-I got the pancakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. But I don't understand how it can take so long to cook breakfast food. The Hostess was literally telling people she could sit them fairly quickly but that getting food was going to take at least 45 minutes. Very nice location and the wait was about 35-40 minutes long. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather but the wait was long compared to the inside. Our waiter was awesome but I forgot her name. Aunty was very friendly and patient and really knew the menu. Her service was 10/10. The food wasn't so great and that's why I gave it 2 stars. I ordered the rib eye steak and eggs cooked medium and substituted the white rice with jalapeño bacon rice. The steak was very thin and very dry. It came well done and it was so tough I had a hard time cutting it. My mom got the loco moco with island fried rice and there was way too many onions. I love onions but even seeing that and trying it there was way too many. My dad and brother got the traditional eggs Benny but they too did not think it was anything special. They said the sauce was a bit watery and they aren't picky so it had to be watery. The potatoes were delicious and so was the eggs but other than that I would not eat here. We also had the pancakes which tasted just like pancakes lol so you couldn't really go wrong with that. Nothing special or WoW about it but I preferred the pancakes over the other dishes. This is the third time we have been to this location and I have been extremely disappointed every single time. This particular time the wait was about an hour and 20 minutes even though we were told it would only be about 15 minutes, it also almost 40 minutes for our food to come out. Terrible service. I was told my take out order will only be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, the host tells me they didn't have one of the items I ordered because they had ran out. So I asked if I could get a refund instead since I was in a hurry for a boat tour but she told me she's can't give me a refund. I was in a hurry and now i have to wait even longer bc they're system doesn't allow them to give refunds? The whole system of this restaurant is bogus. Don't waste your time here. read more

So I went in eat there in the late afternoon. We sat down and were handed a couple of menus. Needless to say we walked out. The menus were had gross mold on them the back page was half torn. I asked for a new menu since it was really moldy that I could not read the menu since the mold was so dark. I mentioned to the waitress that the menu was mold and I could not read it. She just rolled her eyes at me and said nothing. I will never go there again and i live here on the westside. read more
