    Chicken Butter Masala with rice

Eggholic is a wonderful Indian Street Food restaurant in Indy where you can try a variety of Indian food such as chicken butter masala and Paneer Masala. The location is in a strip mall on the west side of Indy, and the ambiance is very nice where you can sit and enjoy your food in a nice dining room. You can order at the counter and the staff will bring your food to you. The ambiance has a nice Indian flare to it and is very chic and decorative. The service is wonderful and the staff is very knowledgeable on the Indian street food. The chicken butter masala is my favorite because it has nice huge pieces of chicken and the sauce is terrific. The chicken masala sandwich is also a great lunch item as well. It has the right amount of spices in it that brings out the flavors. The mango lassi is a smooth drink that tastes like pure heaven and will soothe your stomach. There is nothing negative I have to say about Eggholic because it is just a great place for comfort food at a great price. Plus, it is very original and very unique among other restaurants in Indy. Everyone needs to come check it out!

Ya'll well, we've returned multiple times since our first visit during a Yelp event and just can't get enough! The menu is so expansive and offers you a zillion reasons to return and try it all. I especially loved having the rose falooda dessert and galub jamon this last time. This is a great spot for ordering a variety to share. Our toddler loved it just as much as we did. They offer both meat and vegetarian dishes. The staff can help guide you in exploring the menu. Highly recommend!

Indian quick serve gourmet delight! I was quickly greeted and overwhelmed to read all the offerings in a very good way. I love Butter Chicken or Chicken Tika Masala at any sit down full service dining experience. I enjoyed a brunch grilled cheese Chicken Tika Masala and loved the delicate bread to capture the carbs in every bite! Fully satisfied and love how they ask "spice level" taking my order. A delish gourmet Indian influence similar to Panera but full of international spices and flavors!! The staff and tables with artwork gave the ambiance 10/10!!

One of our new favorites! They have a vast menu of Indian street food/snacks and so many vegetarian options. Their online website had pictures to go along with the menu items. The Paneer kadai (paneer in a creamy gravy with onions and bell pepper) was especially good. The spice level was perfect and the sauce was flavorful. The pani puri was great. The water sauce was chilled and flavored well. The curry with peas was fresh tasting. The peas were not over cooked and had a nice pop to them. The potato sandwich and egg sandwich were both the favorites at the table. Never had a flavor like it and the bread was so light inside and crisp outside. They have a great space. There's at least fifteen tables with four chairs each. There's booth seating too. It feels roomy inside. The employees were friendly. There's plenty of parking as it's in a shopping center.

We stopped in for a quick snack while running around Indy. I had been here previously for a Yelp Elite event and wanted to stop by. I ordered the Samosa Chaat and my love ordered the Chicken Masala Wrap. For being made from scratch food it came out pretty darn quickly. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Both dishes were very flavorful and I would say order two if you are super hungry. Thanks for a quick bite and wonderful flavor!

Having a little Indian Street food!

The food was good, not great. But it is street cart food. I ordered the chicken tikka sandwich and was brought the paneer instead. The staff was super--but they had a lot of kinks to work out in getting orders done correctly. Twice we were brought someone else's food order and drink. They were very polite and friendly when correcting my order. When I was served 2 sandwiches, I offered to pay for the second one--but they said not to worry about it. The restaurant vibe was upbeat and youthful! It was nothing like your typical Indian restaurant. I would totally go here again!

I took my friend and husband on a Yelp event and though this was their 2nd visit they absolutely enjoyed the huge portions and spicy kick to their egg curries. Eggholic represents the Indian street food version in a very authentic, clean and non greasy way and if you enjoy flavorful food you will totally love the flavors and spice. Spice levels are very customizable so don't let that deter you from trying out Eggholic. The place is open from 11am to 10 pm and serves snacks, lunch and dinner. If you aren't looking for huge portions there's sandwiches and really light snacks too. We enjoyed our time at Eggholic and will totally be back!

Another great Indian restaurant at 86th and Ditch. This is really becoming quite the ethnic intersection. Eggholic differs from the other 2 Indian restaurants in that it is a fast casual place (chain restaurant) where you order from the counter or order carryout ahead on their website. As you might imagine, the menu is very egg-heavy, but they also have a lot of vegetarian dishes and chicken dishes. For the price, you get quite a bit of food and it has a nice bit of spice to it (you can choose from several heat levels). I highly recommend this place.

Our first visit here and we all enjoyed the food and the experience. We walked in, having absolutely no idea what to order. The menu seemed huge, and we were unfamiliar with many or most of the entrees. The employees were very friendly and extremely helpful. They gave each of us a menu, and thoroughly explained the different entrées and sides. They made suggestions, and mentioned that we might want to order several different menu items and share. We were also told, "Tell us what you want and we can make it!" We ended up ordering boiled egg appetizer, Desi omelette, a floating omelette, a paneer and veggie grilled sandwich, lava pulav, and dahi puri. We ordered three different drinks: Mango Lassi, which I have had before, Rajwadi Lassi, and Mango Mastani. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The dining area is attractively and uniquely decorated. There is a projection tv that was playing the Wild Card game during the time we were dining, which we enjoyed. There are assorted tables of different sizes and booths. A large party arrived and the employees quickly moved several tables together to accommodate. I really appreciated the enthusiasm of the employees. They were all passionate about their food and the service was truly outstanding. Eggholic definitely earned a place in our regular dining rotation.

This place is a great addition to Indianapolis food scene from a variety standpoint. They have a great menu and I was very excited to try it out but some things are a hit or miss. The paneer bhurji is excellent and is a must must try! The egg Ghotala seemed a little undercooked and was not my favourite of the things I tried. The mango Mastani was refreshing and a good lift to the usual mango lassi.

Chicken Kadai served piping hot. Xtra Spicy. Chicken was so moist. Will get again.

Nice find. While I was not a fan of the chickpea appetizer (it's cold) it seems to be a fan favorite, just not my jam. The chicken Kadai, though, was . We asked for it spicy and it arrive piping hot and nice spice. I could have done more, but it was terrific. The chicken was really moist. Most times chicken breasts are dried out. Not these. The maggi was like ramen. Spicy and delicious. The garlic naan was perfect. Putting this on rotation. So many other dishes to try.
