My new favorite place for Indian street food. Gobi 65 was perfect with the crisp and the flavor. One of the best I've had. Mysore masala dosa was spicy, as expected. Good texture and lots of potato filling inside. Vada pav was spicy and flavor was spot on. Didn't feel too heavy. Sambar idli was good too. I like that they pack the idli separate from the sambar for takeout. The sambar was not too watery and had a good amount of lentils and veggies in it. Employees friendly and food came out quick. The dining area is big with a lot of tables and chairs for groups of all sizes.

We went back to Chowrastha the 2nd time after 2 months to celebrate a birthday dinner. Having Indian roots, my friends and family appreciate a good Indian dinner with a nice family vibe. Chowrastha ticks all the boxes l! We tried Samosa - fried veggie pastry Indian spice chicken appetizers Bhelpuri - savory snack with puffed rice Chicken Mandi - Arabic flavored rice All the dishes were very spicy (please SPECIFY for less spice - they do accommodate) Our bill came up to $95. Note : I kicked off a star for Facebook showing an offer of buy 1 Mandi and get 1 Mandi free on Tuesday but the store said it was a mistake and did not honor our request. I get mistakes happen but when a large group shows up, you don't just keep repeating it was a mistake.

Yummy Indian street food with a fun vibe! I love the murals and the music that make the atmosphere really festive. The service was quick and the food was great. We started with the pani puri which tasted amazing, but I wish there was more puri pieces because there was a lot of stuffing left over. The Bombay sandwich was also really good and the butter paneer with garlic naan was perfectly flavorful and spicy!

Came here for the first time and was really impressed! The restaurant itself was very spacious and plenty of room for our large party. The menu was huge with an almost overwhelming variety of Indian dishes. Some of the dishes are available in the buffet and some of the foods were needed to order. With such a variety of foods, the staff there was extremely helpful to narrow down what we should eat. I'd recommend the chicken tandoori!

The Vijayawada Chicken 65 Biryani was really good. It has great flavor, though the chicken quantity felt a bit less compared to the rice. Their salt & sweet lime soda was also nice and refreshing. On another visit, we tried both the veg and non-veg thalis. They were decent, not amazing, but good enough. The portions were huge. Honestly, they could reduce the biryani rice in the thalis and just offer refills to avoid food waste. My absolute favorite here is the juicy chicken mandi. I've tried mandi at a few places in the US, and this is one of the best I've had. The chicken is flavorful, the portion is great, and the rice is super aromatic. It comes with yogurt sauce, curry sauce, mayo, and veggies. It's only available on weekends, but it's definitely worth it. Overall, solid service and some standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the Mandi.

Lots of options, but wish the food was warmer. The food was okay, not the best Indian buffet I've had. It was good for $20, but probably would not crave it. Lots of seating inside, and they make fresh dosa. There's a free parking lot right in front of the restaurant.

The staff is nice and accommodating ensuring that every guest is taken care of. For my meal, I decided to try a mix of dishes all with medium spice and wasn't disappointed. I started with Butter Chicken, which was tender bites of chicken served in a rich, creamy tomato gravy that was perfectly spiced. The basmati rice served alongside was fragrant and fluffy, the perfect complement to the dish. Next, I had the Street Style Fried Rice add Chicken. It was a delightful mix of tender chicken, shrimp, vegetables and an infusion of Indian spices that gave it a unique, flavorful taste. The Tandoori Shrimp was another highlight with medium sized shrimp marinated in an aromatic blend of spices and grilled to perfection, served with a refreshing mint chutney. To top it all off was the Garlic Naan that was buttery soft and packed with garlic. Perfect for soaking up the sauce from the butter chicken and tandoori shrimp. Everything was flavorful and authentic, with generous portions that are more than worth the price!

There was literally HAIR in our food and after that we couldn't eat anymore. We ended up leaving everything. The service was ok but nothing else is good. It almost felt like heat was not on. On a cold day COLD AIR WAS BLOWING. it was average clean because there was food crumbs or dirt was on the floor. I showed the guy that there's hair in our food , he said he will bring another one out (which we didn't ask for). I asked for the bill which came after the replacement bowl. *the replacement bowl of biryani was lesser portion than the first one. Almost like they were compensating for what we had eaten and we only had one serving spoon full before noticing the HAIR. THEN THE GUY GOES "they are all wearing hairnet so idk". Like almost accusing us for implanting that. I said that I have red hair and the 2nd guest has fine long hair. He started stuttering. Gave 20% discount which I didn't ask. Then demanded that I take down my review. He kept badgering and stood in my way. He stated interrogating which 1 (out of 2 guest) wrote the negative review. Food reviews are based of taste but this kind of experience is just terrible and says a lot of an establishment. He was in my way and before leaving I said I'll consider modifying and he just looked at me angry. I didn't ask for discount or replacement. And I paid tips (before someone starts assuming things)
