First morning in the area and we stopped here because of the pretty good reviews. This place is cash only but 100% worth it. There is also an atm on site and it only charges you 50 cents to withdraw, which is one of the lowest fees I've ever seen. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had. I want to first say that the food itself was good, & I feel horrible leaving a negative review (and it isn't something I do), but days after eating here I'm still bothered by my experience. To start I asked the waiter for decaf coffee, since I'm pregnant, and without a smile or a hint of him joking he said "that's not coffee but sure"..Next I asked him if the "homemade hash" had meat in it, because there's also "corned beef hash" on the menu, and he irritatedly said "what are you talking about?!" ....which with my pregnancy hormones (mixed with me being sensitive in general) made me cry. He then went on to say "there's beef in corned beef hash and potato's in hash brown. Which didn't make sense because "hash browns" were never mentioned or pointed to. My husband asked for a cranberry juice once our meal came, and the waiter said "I don't see why not"...apparently he found a reason why not because he never brought it. And despite me having a sip of coffee left for most of the time we were there, he didn't offer me more coffee until we were closing out our tab. He did try to pour regular coffee in my decaf more than once and though, at least that was a somewhat kind gesture compared to how unpleasant he was the rest of the time. Apparently there was a sign that said cash only that we missed, so when he saw my husbands debit card on the table he was like "your cards no good here" ...so very politely and pleasantly, my husband said, "oh sorry, looks like there's an atm right in here, I'll be right back" (I stayed at the table).....and to the table next to us, the waiter was like "there's a big sign on the door right in people's faces but they can't read" while pointing his hand in my direction. Also, it didn't bother my husband when it happened to him, but if the waiter had placed my breakfast down and said "here's your carbs" I would have cried again and not wanted to eat for 3 days :'-) (Because I'm sensitive) read more

Another fantastic breakfast place, Ogunquit has the best. Isaac was my server, on top of everything, very pleasant, and gave me some good ideas about what to do. I had the stuffed French toast. It was stuffed with a lemon cream cheese, covered in blueberry compote, with lots of whipped cream. This place is fantastic, and I would recommend it highly. I haven't had a breakfast this good in a long time. The omellete was big, fluffy and cooked to perfection. Home fries were well sized and seasoned. Lobster Benedict was tasty- I subbed scramble egg instead of poached ( I know I'm weird). Great amount of lobster and the home fries were cooked perfectly. Also the toast seemed like homemade bread- very good. My husband enjoyed his homemade hash omelet. Coffee was average. Service is what you'd expect, staff were pleasant and they did a great job with Covid precautions. read more

Great little place, with ample seating and clean unisex restrooms. I would've given 5 stars but they switched mine and my friend's omelettes up. They did however offer to fix it but we declined. We had a sweet little waitress who at some point during the end of our meal disappeared. However she was around during most of it and accommodated our requests. We were seated very quickly around 11'ish so keep that in mind as early mornings are busier. They're only open 6am-2pm do breakfast, brunch & lunch is their specialty. The food was very yummy and when requested I got some almond milk for my coffee (they have soy too fyi). What I loved most about the place is that they're truly an equal opportunity employer with folks working there from various walks of life. Definitely give them a try. My husband and I got to the restaurant at about 7:10, good thing too because as we were leaving it was filling up quickly. I had the California omelette minus the bacon and my husband had a make your own omelette with lots of onions so be aware to eat lots of sautéed onions! He loved it. The service was very good but, if you want to chat , forget about it. All business but that's ok. The only problem I had was I asked for my toast dry and it came out with loads of butter. I could have sent it back but I chose not to. We would definitely return. read more

First of all, the main reason for the 2 stars is simple. They don't accept debit or credit cards. It's 2019...it's part of doing business. Yes they offer an ATM where my bank charges a fee for. It's made (naturally) with wild Maine blueberries and comes with a delicious blueberry butter. I also tried the Iced Hazelnut Coffee this morning. Very solid. This was just average and I have given them a chance every year I go, just in case I ordered the wrong "thing". The real disappointment were the blueberry pancakes. It is Maine, right - known for blueberries, right. Why are your "blueberry" pancakes served with a blueberry compote that I could get a IHOP!??
