We had a cake made there and it turned out so good and delicious! Prices are very reasonable and the staff was very nice.

If you need a quick bite to eat, add to for a meal, wine or even dessert, this is the go-to in town. Conveniently located in Ogunquit, this is easily walkable. Efficient and friendly employees to assist with your needs with a lot of grab and go selection.

It has a little bit of everything. A deli, supermarket, liquor store, butcher and bakery. The only thing missing is the candlestick maker. The people here are super friendly. They seem to be well stocked with beverages and we ordered some sandwiches for dinner. The hero and sandwiches were ok and it filled us up in a pinch. You can place an online or phone order and pick up your food or have it delivered.

The sandwiches are so very good! Also, their giant cookies are so good. We had to come back the next day to get more to take on our plane ride home! The store is pretty busy and not a lot of people seem to be working in there so wait times can be a little on the longer side, but it is solid food that won't leave you unhappy and is well priced.

To be fair, the sweets we had deserve 5 stars across the board, they were delicious! However, the actual experience inside the market was so extremely off putting. The staff was so unfriendly! We were ready to checkout at the cafe counter near the baked goods and were met by just about the most insolent older man I've come across in all of Maine. Probably wouldn't step foot in there again. Such a shame but Ogunquit has many other options to choose from for sweets, pick one of those.

Quick and easy grocery store. Stocks the basic necessities. Fresh deli, bakery and sandwiches made to order. Great clam chowder too. Had a decent and delicious dinner for half the cost at most dine in restaurants. Plus it allowed me to eat dinner as a picnic on the beach.

Amazing sandwiches! Lovely little store and their subs are top notch. Better food than any place I've found near me in my hometown.

Tourist trap disguised as a quaint market. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes for an egg sandwich and pay $5 for a bottle of water. Avoid.

Aside from a very wide variety of food product, wine and beer, their prices for a small market are very reasonable.

NO RETURNS--the worst experience, especially at an IGA grocery store I have ever had. NO STARS. IGA…read moreis a store I have frequented often. I had a return and brought the wrong receipt. The kid who I asked about returns was NOT trying to be accommodating at ALL. He scanned the product and looked at my receipt from the wrong grocery store and said "you didn't purchase this product here." All the products in this store are individually price marked with an orange price tag. I made the purchase several days ago. The kid just kept saying "you didn't purchase this product here," being very condescending the entire time. I started to walk out and turned around and walked back in, because I knew I had purchased the product at that IGA. I went to the aisle I knew it was on and yes there was the product with the same orange price sticker. I then went to the back of the store and found Debbie. She said let's go back up to the front. The kid, after scanning it again said, "you didn't pay for this here". I said "yes I did" and I asked about the sticker. After he begin making the return he was snickering to me several times, like it was such an inconvenience for him. I then asked him if he snickered at everyone who had a return. He then said, "I don't have to give you your money back," which lead me to walking out. It was such a terrible experience! I never got my money back and they kept the product. I called back and spoke with Debbie, which lead to her just raising her very voice to me when I asked who the owner was. She kept saying the kid was. I had to keep asking questions to finally find out his parents owned the store. I then found out Debbie was the kids grandmother. The whole experience was terrible and I will never step foot into that IGA grocery store again. These people at the IGA Wells Maine do NOT need to be working with the public. I don't need irresponsible, disrespectful, snickering kids or a disrespectful Debbie when I was just trying to make a reasonable return.

Looked at the Granny Smith apples but they were $2.99/lb, as were the yellow nectarines, a dollar more than I paid for the nectarines at Hanaford Friday. The bananas were on sale for $.59/lb. What we bought will last us a few more days. I brought in some of the bags from Hanaford and reused them.
