    Party Chipotle Ranch Fry

Quick Sunday snack with the kiddos! The sandwich was perfect, it's really been a while since I had one; soft bread fresh veggies, yum! My kids tried the fries. Definitely recommend the ranch bacon over the cheesy fries, but that's just our opinion. The manager Haylee was nice and took care of us... we'll be back!

This was pretty good! I decided to stop by after work to get a quick snack, and I ordered the chicken tenders because I was mucu hungrier than I thought. I didn't have a chance to go through their drink menu, so I just ordered a Dr. Pepper. The service was good and quick, but they might need to get their speaker box fixed as it was hard to hear them. The chicken tenders were good! They were big and juicy and had a great crunch!

Original Grinder 1/2 hot! Combo with eegee & fries.

Fun spot with the garage doors open on a nice day! Outdoor seating as well. Original grinder was just as I remembered from my days in Tucson. There is no better frosty drink than an Eegee strawberry/lemon mix.

So I moved to Tucson back in the 1990's and got indoctrinated to Eegees then. What was not to love? Fabulous sandwiches, great sauces, and that fabulous Eegees drink that not only had it's standard flavors, but every month you got to experience an Eegee of the month. November was always the favorite with Cherry Cider, something you looked forward to all year!! After moving to the Phoenix area, every time I was in Tucson...it was a standard top priority to get a fix, so imagine how excited we were when they opened in Casa Grande! We made many trips from Chandler to C.G. just for a picnic of Eegees. Then they sold...but everything coming from the new company said no changes, just expansion. We gave the Baseline-Mesa store two times and the newer Val Vista store one try. I'm so devastated to report, we will not return and the Eegee's of our memories will stay just there. Went to Mesa location today for lunch. $32 later for two whole subs (they don't offer 6, 8, or 12 inch any longer...just whole and half). We ordered combos both with fries (which is supposed to come with one ranch dressing per order) and our beloved Cherry Cider flavor of the month! I also asked for two house dressings (now they are .35 each...used to be free) and two additional ranch dressings (now .35 each...used to be free). First, had to return the receipt to prove that I had paid for a medium Eegee because he wanted to charge me again (he actually started to argue with me about not being charged for one); next, we had to go into the store (we did the drive through) because we didn't get the two extra ranch dressings that we paid for. The food just isn't what it used to be...the bread has an off flavor, the lettuce on both sandwiches had some slimy pieces in it (so we removed it totally), and the Cherry Cider...not at all the tart cherry cider flavor of yester-year...and I had one cherry in mine and we found three in the other one. I get that the company says no changes made and they stand by that, but as true Eegee groupies...it isn't the same. The bread is different, the ranch is different, and the Cherry Cider isn't the same either. I went back and forth between posting two or three stars mostly because of my nostalgia but decided to be true in my review and stick with two stars. We decided after today that Eegee's has become a memory of past and will move on to other sandwich places that serve way better food and have way better customer service.

Yoohoo to Grant and Sophia for great customer service and Friendly smiling faces!!! Let me start by saying that, I've never heard of this establishment until driving from my yoga class feeling slightly parched and needing something sweet to drink. I just happened to be stuck in the nightmare road construction in front of eeges and decided to pull over to quinch my thirst. It reminds me of a subway and sonic combined into one. It's very colorful and stands out which is nice! Once the construction is complete, it will be booming, I'm sure! I got the pina colada eeges which was !!! Sheesh ...I took one sip and couldn't stop. I got the kid a Turkey kids meal with a lemonade and the kid loved it... it was actually a nice size portion for a kids meal but they could've tossed in a few more fries to make it worth the price. I did notice that it didn't come with a toy or prize which was kinda disappointing for the kid. The fries needed more seasoning but I suppose it was seasoned perfect for kids. I recommend stopping here for a meal and eeges drink...The pina colada alone, is worth the visit. ( Slushy drink) As usual, plenty of free parking. Close to the highway and next to coffee and gas. Tell Sophia and Grant that I sent ya Thanks again Grant for reminding your peer to get on top of my order... that was funny! GRANT ROCKS!!!

    Half strawberry half lemon Eegee
    Karen W.

It was hot outside and I had a busy day. Today feels like a slushie day I thought. Plus, there was a drive thru so that made it an easy decision to try Eegee's. I've had them before in Tucson but wasn't too amazed but I figured I'd give it a go a second time and get something different. Instead of one of their tea drinks I got their standard Eegee slushie, half lemon and half strawberry. The drive thru line was fairly long, as was the wait. My order was just 3 drinks but it still took a while to get it. So much for a quick drive thru experience! Out of the two flavors I liked the strawberry the best. It was sweet, refreshing and the seeds in it made it seem like there was fresh strawberries in it. I didn't really like the lemon. It had a strange aftertaste to me. I also tried the banana flavor of the month It had a very artificial banana taste. As for cost, the price is right! Three small Eegees were a little over $8 so for a little under $2 for a slushie it's not bad for what you get I suppose.

Posing with my watermelon Eegee which is my all time fav!
    Diele K.

Eegee's used to be a 2 hour drive away, but always loved going with friends every couple of months to either Casa Grande or Tucson. Still super excited to have them locally. LOVE LOVE LOVE the watermelon Eegee! Sometimes I'm glad it is seasonal for my waistline, but also wish I could indulge through the year. Perfect way to beat our record of 110+ days in a row. Be sure to cool down with an Eegee's!

Great lunch spot in Chandler! I have received a lot of recommendations to check out Sourdough & Co…read more I wish I would have gone sooner! Walking into the store, the first 2 things you notice is that it is busy!, and the heavenly smell of fresh baked sourdough. The staff is extremely nice and patient, willing to answer questions if you have any. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating, even though there is a lot of tables it is definitely not enough during lunch time. I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.

Owner is super nice and the sandwiches are definitely a hit! Number 1 on the charts!…read more My husband ordered the Take On Me and I ordered The Boss. Soooo good!

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I saw this location had some good seating to have 10 of us as a send off. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even offered extra chairs and help move tables if needed. What We Ordered: - German Potato Salad: My cousin ordered and really liked it. I'm not a fan of German potato salad, so I didn't enjoy the flavor. I'll stick to my potato salad. - Potato Salad: Pretty decent for a potato salad, but nothing standout for me. - Meatball Sub: My cousin and his son split this, and they said it was quite large. They wished it had more sauce, but still overall a decent meatball sub. - Caesar Salad + Chicken: I couldn't snap a photo before my cousin's girlfriend and his daughter tore into this. They seemed very pleased with the salad and at a glance, it looked pretty delicious. - Philly Cheesesteak: My dad said it was very good and ate the whole thing! - Roasted Veggie Wrap: My mom said it was nice, and veggies are refreshing on a hot summer day. It was wrapped well, and enjoyed the umami of the mushrooms and balsamic glaze. - Pastrami Reuben: I loved this sandwich! The pastrami was delicious, and I'm excited to have leftovers which is saying something. I'm not usually one to look forward to leftovers. - Turkey & Swiss Wrap: My auntie throughly enjoyed this, and said it was the perfect last meal in America before heading back to England. - Chef Salad: My auntie and I split this to have a bit of veg. Lovely salad with lots of ingredients that complimented each other well. - The American (Reuben-style): My cousin really enjoyed this sandwich and said it was quite large. Next time, she could easily split with me or her fiancée. - Cuban: My cousin's fiancée ordered this and said it's the best Cuban sandwich he's ever had! Quite high remarks. Honestly, I'm not sure I could pick a better place. Very friendly, quick service, and great eats. Definitely return to this location when in the area, and will recommend to family and friends.
