A great option for young families on a warmer day. I stopped by Edgewater Beer Garden with some friends with the intention of enjoying a seemingly warmer Denver winter day, and we had no trouble finding seating on the patio. Maybe we were just brave, but with blankets and the outdoor heaters the space served well for a small get together. The inside, however, was PACKED. Was it something in the air that influenced every young family West of Denver to crave local brews and fried food options? Or is this just the typical crowd for this establishment? Either way, I don't believe myself to be the target market for this location. After a few hours, the children's birthday party and other large family gatherings occupying the warm interiors finally disappeared, and we were able to enjoy all the splendors of their heated former firehouse. The staff who was wandering the facilities to take empty trays and glasses from tables were exceptionally nice, the food options were as plentiful as the variety on tap, and the patio's ambience was exactly what we needed. Ticked all the boxes you'd expect of a suburban beer hall. Overall, not really my scene, as I don't have a golden doodle or a curious toddler, but if that sounds like an apt description for the company you keep, you'll enjoy this spot immensely.

Food is mediocre, environment is fantastic! Great to place to come and enjoy the patio with some friends or family!

Came here with a big group, and was pleased with our experience! The ambiance was that of a perfect summer patio, variety is the spice of life, and I love having plenty of it!! Beer, cocktails and menu of pretty much anything you want. Wings. Burgers. Fries. Poke bowls..... they got it! And it all tastes so good and fresh. You just walk right up and order what you want....they bring it out to you in a flash! Super dog friendly, I was bummed that I didn't bring my pups.... Would love to next time!

Fun atmosphere with bingo playing, we went on a Wednesday night so I'm assuming it's a weekly event. We had a party of 8 and it was hard to hear with all the noise but there was plenty of room for our party with bench seating and regular table seating available. You order your own drinks/food at the bar and you're given a buzzer for when your food is ready. Cocktails and draft beer available. All the staff were really nice and working hard. Automatic 18% gratuity on all checks. The food was good but nothing to write home about. Fitting for the crowd/atmosphere. Definitely a hipster spot but you're in the Sloan's Lake area so expected. Nice fire pits and heated seating outside. I'd like to go back to this spot in the summer to enjoy the massive patio.

Nice outdoor neighborhood space to enjoy a beer! They have a great happy hour and nice selection of beverages. The food looks good too, but just got beers today. I've been sleeping on this all day Monday happy hour!

Just came here for the first time with my dog. The happy hour menu was nice! I enjoyed the selection of food and drinks and the vibes and atmosphere are super nice! I loved the outside seating options and there were many areas with shade! The service and food is basically self serve and the food is a little pricey but it's good and typical with the scene of this being a brewery. I also love how they do an automatic 18% tip, makes it easy on the customer and helps support the workers who absolutely deserve that!

We went to Edgewater beer Garden on one of the nicest pre-spring days that one could ask for in Denver. Everyone was out on this day with their dogs and with their kids and most of all with their friends. We soaked up some sun on the patio and also had frozen drinks. Their frozen margaritas were wonderful shout out to the tajin rim. This is a great spot and even those packed there is so much seating so we were able to find a table.

This is such a cute, laid back spot for happy hour! And it was such a nice surprise that they have a lot of great, healthy dinner options too! Service was fast and friendly and there were plenty of seats available indoor and outdoor on a Wednesday evening.

The ambiance here is a 6/5 and the food is a 5/5. Get the bacon chicken wrap or the harissa chicken salad. The fries are awesome too! My favorite cocktail is the orange crush it's really really really good. The beers on draft are on rotation but they pick good ones and there's always a beer for everyone. Super nice place to get lunch and hangout at! We come here all the time, can you tell?

Solid place to visit when looking to meet up with others! I came here for a book club meeting and it was the perfect since it had food, drinks (and NA options!) along with ample indoor and outdoor seating. We were here in the dead of winter so didn't get to enjoy the outdoors but Edgewater Beer Garden is in my back pocket for the summer time! Friendly staff and gasp, private parking?? What's not to like about this place?

Caroline L.

Prompt, efficient service despite full tables (indoor and out) and a lengthy line upon arrival. This place seems to know how to deliver excellent customer service. A great spot for large groups, families with children and (weather appropriate) dogs outdoors.

It took a little longer than expected for anyone to greet us--likely because the staff seemed short-handed and were juggling a steady line of customers. We tried the ginger snap bites from the display case on the counter. I'm not sure we knew what we were getting because the labeling wasn't very clear. The texture was unexpectedly mushy and not very ginger flavored so we wondered if we were given the snickerdoodle balls instead as the labels were on top of each other. The Med Salad had good flavors overall but the croutons were so hard they were almost inedible and there was an overwhelming amount of anise in it which caught me off guard. The bone broth was the biggest disappointment; it lacked depth and tasted more like an old bouillon cube than a fresh and rich broth. On a positive note, my friend's chopped peanut salad looked fresh and well-composed, so there are definitely bright spots on the menu. In the end, it wasn't a terrible experience--just not one that stood out in the way we hoped. With some tweaks in execution and clearer communication on menu items, it could easily be much better. Will plan to try a smoothy or avocado toast next time.

For the starter we got the bisque which was creamy and flavorful! I chose the entree as lamb sliders and my friend chose the mushroom steak but we both thought the entrees were pretty bland. The drinks were great too. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu but we noticed it was very slow. She rarely checked up on us and tend to forget stuff we ordered it was to the point where I had to set a 20 min wait time expectation everytime we asked for something. She did take accountability and apologized so I do appreciate that. Overall an okay place to go maybe mostly for drinks and desserts.

With a lively interior, hip music and a 90's type vibe, the energy here is high. The hostess was helpful, shared opinions and asked me questions about what I liked and did not steer me to as specific selection. Families, runners, women groups and Uber eat drivers are enjoying the chill vibe with hip music playing in the background. The selection was not easy as several combinations were intriguing and did not sound typical but innovative. The lemongrass beefy crunch with lemongrass braised beef, herbed slaw, maple orange vinegarette, pickled carrots and daikon, 5-spiced crispy onions, mayo on a pressed garlic focaccia was a must try. It is a major favor bomb! The meat was juicy, good hints of lemongrass, a light / fluffy focaccia and crispy, attention grabbing onions. HOMERUN and a true visionary with this concept. The people running the food and drinks were all super nice. I like the overall vibe of the place. The food left a lot to be desired. I got the chopped cheese and the bread to meat ratio was awful. It was such a large piece of bread that I finally just opened it and ate the insides. Way too much bread. If I ever end up back there I will get the cheeseburger. That looked good and reasonably priced.
