This is a great neighborhood restaurant with excellent food, a covered patio and fun events! Greg's has an incredible tap list. Great variety and non-beer options like cider. And, they will let you try any of them before you commit to the pint. They give great recommendations based on your preferences. The sidewinder fries are great! Fun shape and great for dipping in ranch. The cheese curds are my go-to, delicious. The buffalo wings are great, just the right combo of spicy & crispy. The fried chicken sandwich is the handheld version of the wings, awesome. And, the cobb salad is perfect, not a massive trough of salad, just the right meal size. I am partial to the fish'n'chips as well. We have been to fun comedy shows, theme trivia and sports watch parties here and had a blast. read more

Free parking is always a win in my books! Great place for Wednesday night trivia! On the left side of the building is a free parking garage! Shared with the other businesses, this garage can hold a decent amount of cars. The staff is always friendly and happy! They have great suggestions if you are stuck between two items! This place hosts themed trivia nights every Wednesday! I went there with some friends for the trivia :) we got second place! We all ordered some dinner while we were there. I got the garlic Parmesan chicken wings! These garlic parm wings came as a sauce instead of a dry rub so that was interesting! The flavor was great, definitely would suggest for anyone who wants a flavorful wing. The atmosphere was fun and laid back. The trivia host kept us laughing all night. The wait staff checked on us regularly as well. Can't wait to go back for another trivia night! read more

I actually really enjoyed my drink and gyro here!! Unexpected for bar food but pleasantly surprising. I recently moved to Denver and my friends all love to come here to watch football games. The zippin brussel sprouts and the sweet potato fries were also delicious, and their indoor/outdoor vibe makes for a nice change of scenery when the weather permits. I love that they have so many sizes for the beer options, made it easy for me to try a decent size sample that you can actually taste it but not commit to a whole glass Greg himself is often there and will take your food right out to you. Our server was so sweet, but a little inattentive. Completely forgot to put in one of my friends orders then his food came out cold long after we were finished. Idk what happened there. I forget her name anyway but i wouldn't call her out, she was really nice lol. Cheers, we come back all the time. read more

All the time University of Michigan Sportsball! Great food. Amazing tap list. Stellar service. cool owner. I really do love this place. Tried to give this place a few tries since it's in the neighborhood and has some TVs for games but just doesn't do it for me. Really bad veggie options, and fried picked are generally my fav but these ones are just SO salty. Coming from a true salt lover (really, I like my food salty but these are inedible) who's given them a couple tries- amazed there's no other reviews about this. read more

Place is just ok and owner has severe Trump derangement syndrome (from Ann Arbor - go figure). See ya! Too many beers on tap and not enough traffic to keep beers from going flat. Food can be good but it's inconsistent. read more

the garlic parm wings were COVERED in sauce, I couldn't even see the wings. gross meal to say the least

Fun family friendly pub not too far from Sloan's Lake. My husband and I were trying to find a chill dinner spot on a Friday night and Greg's checked all the boxes! I shared a burger and some cheese curds with my daughter and we both devoured it all. The burger was a tad dry but the toppings helped! The cheese curds had a nice creamy squeak just as one would expect. My burger came with their sidewinder fries and they were addictive. Think thicker cut curly fries! Service was quick and friendly! Next time we'll bring our pup so we can enjoy their patio. read more

Fun, friendly bar. Stopped in for some drinks since I have the Eat + Drink Denver pass. Lots of beer on tap but also some tasty options for cocktails on tap and wine. Lots of TVs for sports viewing. The bar is in a building with a gymnastics studio so I appreciate their humor with their signage asking parents to be sure their children are safe and keep their shoes on if they do come to Greg's for a bite to eat or a drink. read more

Off the top, let me say that the service is exceptional. The regulars (Terry, Angie, Stefan) are great and accepting. Adrianna was fantastic as my bartender, and Greg was hanging out perfecting the experience. Lots of beer choice (hence the name). Beer flights available and reasonable priced. I ate and it was good. I also checked out other people's food and it looked good. Lots of TV's for sports viewing. I need a second visit to give this a 5 star. STRONG four star for drinks and service, and will wait on my second visit and food for the 5 star review. During NFL games, there is a crazy Browns fan that will make your day regardless. He sits on the patio. Kid friendly, sort of. Dog friendly also, which is a plus. I would definitely recommend and see you there. read more

Great bar menu. Everything was cooked to perfect temperature, the fried pickles were delicious. Don't miss this one!

Such a nice and cozy place to eat! Came here for a late lunch last Sunday and our server was so kind and attentive. The appetizers were piping hot so we knew they were fresh and our thoughts were confirmed when we took our first super crispy bite! All was tasty and addicting. We all ordered sandwiches which were so tasty as well. Can't believe I forgot to take pictures! I'd love to try their burgers next time. read more

Pretty good beer list. Food for the most part is absolutely terrible. Burgers cooked well done irrespective of requested temperature. Somehow even the quesadilla was terrible. After a conversation with Greg, I'm not sure they even understand the difference between beef doneness levels. read more

Heard through the grapevine of a Trivia night on the show New Girl. Although it was the only reason I found out about this place originally, I was pleased with the chicken queso dip my wife and I shared while playing. Great place to watch sports and tons of beer on tap. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. Food is also great!

Absolutely terrible, Greg was rude to his own wait staff which overrides anything else. The boss being rude to wait staff is worse than raw chicken. read more

What a Great place! Shea and Megan made us feel like regular customers and it was my first visit! Ice cold beer, Jell-O shots and many laughs. Great atmosphere, had a really good time. They had games around to play, family friendly, there were families with little kids. Ordered the fried pickles which were awesome, super crunchy with really good ranch. Wings were also really good, I prefer dry with sauce in the side and they accommodated even though not on the menu. Burger probably would have been great, but we ordered medium and was very well done, no color at all. So I didn't eat it, but the rest of it looked good.it's of beer selection, and regular bar drinks so something for everyone in that department. Tables spaced for covid. Bathrooms clean. Definitely recommend. read more

Love it here! I've been a few times and all the servers (Shea and Kirsten) are so personable and attentive. I'm usually not a fan of "pub food" but everything is so well done, creative and well executed. Fabulous covered, dog friendly patio. The owner Greg is always there, and a lovely presence. All in all, place is bomb. Food is delish. Highly recommend read more

Good happy hour deals that looked tasty so we stopped in after our inventing room tour. However, the food was not very good and did not sit well in my stomach. The wings were dry. The pretzel cheese had a weird consistency and didn't taste very good. The fried pickles were decent. Ok tap selection. Looks like they have fun events like trivia nights on topics like (tonight's) national lampoon Christmas vacation). The outside is nice but the street is so loud and busy it was distracting. . read more

I wanted to love this place! It's walkable from my house and had solid reviews. However, 2 hours of terrible service and frozen, bland food later, I can't give it more than 2 stars. No one at the entrance to welcome guests, no sign to seat yourselves, and 15 minutes before we had drinks on a non-busy Saturday afternoon. After a simple order of 2 burgers, we waited more than an hour for stale buns and dried out patties. Do yourself a favor and skip it. read more

First time in and I was pleasantly surprised! Cool, local, taproom with a huge food selection. They have a bunch of TVs perfect for watching sports and hanging out after a long workday. The food was a bit salty which is why it didn't get 5, but I'll for sure come back in the future. read more

Sunday. Door signage says: open at 1130. We walked in at 1135. Sit down and an old guy comes out of the kitchen and says "We are closed as the cook did not come in". OK. I have some sympathy as I understand the current restaurant employment conditions. But, he does not offer to sell us some beer. Does he need a cook in order to pour beer? Not likely to return. read more

We recently picked up a new apartment building in Edgewater and wanted to check out the neighborhood a little more - that led us here, and what a great discovery it was... We went here for Harry Potter movie trivia. It's a nice ambience, they have a ton of beers on tap, several ciders, and even some cocktails. I found it really neat that they do 5oz drafts in addition to 16, because I was able to try a few different 5oz ones. We sat at the bar and were served by Kristen and Thomas who was training. They were attentive, friendly, and overall appeared to be in positive spirits. We ordered the carnitas queso with chips appetizer which was good, but it was a little on the watery side and small for $12. We closed out with Kristen as it was the end of her shift and she informed the other bartender that we were still there and to tend to us, but unfortunately that did not happen. I noticed him looking at my empty glasses (cider and water) a few times but he never came to ask if I wanted anything else until we flagged him down. read more

Growler is my go-to when I'm in the Highlands area- great food, amazing beer selection, and a really cool place to hang (I've been listening to some old school Stevie Nicks, Guns and Roses, and AC/DC while sitting at the bar for lunch today). My two favorites are the Inferno Burger (line up the beer for that one) and the App Trio, with whichever beer I happen to be interested in trying that day (they've got something like 100 on tap). Stop in, you won't regret it. read more

Incredible beer selection. One of the best in the Sloans Lake/Highlands area. The food is fantastic. No frills, what you see is what you get. The fish tacos, burgers, and pulled pork were awesome. We ate at Greg's Kitchen on Friday evening. We had two children with us and before we ordered the staff let us know they were going to have a comedian with adult humor in one hour.
