Then showed me all the issue areas that need treated and also areas that the wood trim needs to be replaced. Jeff then came out and did the treatment. He also removed & replaced the damage wood trim and even painted all the boards around my window not just the ones replaced. Can't say enough good things about this company. Of course, when you are in escrow you are between a rock and a hard place.... Got a second opinion. Way overdue for this review! I have used Edge for quite a few years now... since we live close to the coastal area, termite seems to be a common problem in my neighborhood. Therefore, I had quite a few termite companies came out to inspect my home since My husband and I purchased our home. All the other companies recommended a full tent treatment of my home except Edge who only recommend localized treatments. At the time I just had my son and didn't want to evacuate and clean up afterwards, therefore, I opted for localized treatment with Edge. Their price is very reasonable and they also replaced the damaged wood for me so I don't have to find another handy man to do it. Since then, they came out every year to inspect and do treatment as needed. Christy is great! She is very accommodating to my husband 's busy work schedule and they always shows up on time! Upon discovering a growing pile of termite droppings along wood paneling in a garage wall, I contacted Edge Exterminating, a local company with positive reviews for termite treatment. I contacted the company, via Yelp, and they had an appointment scheduled for me within minutes. As previous reviewers have noted, Steve was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained that his company specializes in local treatments, rather than fumigation/tenting, which was appealing because move-out was unnecessary and it was slightly /less expensive. After the inspection, Steve was able to provide me with an instant estimate and the report was mailed to my home a few days later. I decided upon a Termidor foam treatment that could be applied inside the affected wall area and a Timbor spray to be applied to all exposed wood in the garage as a preventative measure. The 1-year warranty was top-notch as it included any part of the structure, not just the garage, against new infestations or re-treatment. Kristy, in the office, was knowledgeable and helpful with scheduling. During the treatment, Steve continued to be informative about the process. The entire treatment took less than two hours and I was able to work in my garage an hour later. The only cleanup for me was a pinkish residue that I was able to quickly scrub off appliances. Two months have passed since the treatment and no termite activity has been noted, a huge relief from the termite feces pile that had been growing by the week! Great experience so far! Steve explained what would be going on with the termite control and all the wood repair (both wood rot and termite damage)for our condo complex in Long Beach. Then we found out they had an in house painter...the bid was way less thn two other bids we got! Frank treated the termites and did wood repair. Jeff did wood repair and thn painted our condo complex. Frank and Jeff were very nice and professional...and so was anyone else they brought. Jeff is a pefectionist with painting...which was great! We are very pleased with the work that's been done and highly recommend having them come out and at least give you a bid! Oh! I'm surprised to be the first to review Edge Exterminating. We used Edge Exterminating in the summer of 2015 for repair of termite damage. We used Angie's List, Yelp, and the End Result (referral service) to come up with 6-7 candidate companies. After phone screening each, we narrowed the list to 3 to get inspections/quotes from. We finally decided on Edge, and are very satisfied. (By the way, Edge was through the End Result.) Edge people were very professional, reviewed the inspection results with us in detail, and offered several repair options. Because the damage was mostly confined to the window frames, roof support beams, and one section of the eave, they offered an option that did not require fumigation/tenting. We opted to not fumigate and instead had them remove all the damaged wood and replace them with treated wood. They did a very nice job, and we have not had any issues since. Because 3 "Edge Exterminating" showed up on Yelp, I called the phone number I kept (714-529-5911) to confirm I was reviewing the correct one, and this Mira Loma one is the one we used.
