Eden coffee is casually located within a food truck plaza and open early at 6:30 AM. I came here every morning four days straight for my Hawaiian coffee and was consistently met with happy faces and greet service. Breakdown of the top two drinks: The Hawaiian Dream- chocolate macadamia Island Bliss- chocolate coconut I preferred the Hawaiian Dream of the two, but to each their own. The two sweet ladies were friendly and customized my drink to be hot one day and blended and less sweet another. I highly recommend Eden Coffee. read more

OMG! i wish they are near where i live. they don't have drip coffee, so i ordered americano and expecting water-down coffee. but man....am i wrong! the most aromatic, the crema of the espresso still intact after hot water was added, it's unreal! Dropped by this Friday morning when Eden Coffee opened at 6:30am. A few customers were there before me, but they were quick and coffee was served up right away. I ordered two 12oz Americano coffees and the young girl who helped me was very pleasant, polite and friendly. The gentleman making the coffee (barista) was excellent. Definitely a big Mahalo for making this visit great! read more

Decent espresso with friendly service from this cute truck. I tried the Hawaiian dream (espresso w/ Mac nut and chocolate) on ice. It was pleasantly not-too-sweet, and had good espresso strength. All beverages can be hot, on ice, or blended. Sadly no decaf options. We also tried the iced tea (fruity, mediocre) and the tropical smoothie (kids liked it but was pretty icy for my taste). $20 for the 3 drinks. It may have been more of a 3-star for me for the tea, smoothie, and lack of decaf, but I've gotten used to being disappointed by Hawaiian coffee shops and I actually didn't mind mine, plus the girl working there was lovely, and there was no lineup, unlike the crazy one down the road, so 4 stars. read more

The blended espresso was to die for. This food truck just a walk away from my resort in vacation. Staff was wonderful and was set outdoors. A perfect way to start the morning. Eden also offers smoothies which I believe would be wonderful. The owners seem to also care very much about the lot as they came to water flowers and make sure everything was in tip top shape. Compared to what we've found so far on the island, good coffee! Good options, cool vibe with the food truck. Friendly service too. Compared to back home (so cal), not that good. But we were happy to get something that we liked at least. We've had a lot of L's so far on the island. I had some latte that had coconut I think, don't remember what it was called. Got it iced with oat milk. I miss the days when latte's were under $5 :( read more

Such a hidden gem! Eden Coffee is a cute little coffee truck tucked away in Poipu, and it quickly became one of our favorite stops. The baristas were all incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly every time we visited, which made the experience feel so welcoming. Their menu is perfectly curated--not too overwhelming, but with enough variety to find something for everyone. I normally order my drinks "half sweet" at places like Starbucks or other local shops, but when I asked here, the barista let me know that none of their drinks are overly sweet to begin with. And she was right--the sweetness level was just perfect for me. If you tend to like your drinks super sweet, you might want to ask for extra flavoring, but for those who prefer a more balanced taste, you'll be really happy. One note: their blended drinks are made with a pre-mixed coffee base--kind of reminiscent of the mocha freezes from Costco's food court. It's good, just something to know depending on your texture or flavor preferences. Everything else we tried was fantastic, and the service was impressively quick, especially for a coffee truck. Bonus: prices were very reasonable for the area. Highly recommend stopping by Eden Coffee if you're in Poipu--great vibes, great drinks, and great people. read more

Also, if you place an online order, they add an 18% gratuity to the order. I'm sorry. It's one thing to require an 18-20% automatic gratuity at a restaurant for large parties but for picking up takeout breakfast sandwiches and coffee I don't really think anyone should be forced to pay a gratuity for takeout. It's not table service, it's takeout and that really should be optional for the customer regardless of whether they order online or in person. In the future, unless I'm really pressed for time (we were on that particular occasion as we had a Na Pali boat excursion to get to), I would just wait in line and avoid the online ordering.

We had a lovely experience dining at Ilima Terrace while staying at the Grand Hyatt for three…read morenights. While hotel buffets are usually pretty basic, Ilima Terrace goes above and beyond! The first thing I'll mention is the variety. There were approximately 10 hot food items on their main hot food table with options ranging from kalua pork hash, to frittata, to mango mahi. Plus they switched out all options each day to make sure the buffet wasn't repetitive. The quality of these items was generally great. But they had much more beyond the main hot food table. The fresh juice shots were always a highlight for us. Also the pancakes/french toast bar, which always had a good local twist like taro or ube mixed in. And make sure to dig into the fresh fruit spread. They have good sweet baked goods as well, but I think the bread/bagel cabinet is the only miss at this buffet. The bread options just weren't good quality. I still give 5 stars, because even without freshly baked breads, we still had a plethora excellent options. If you are staying at Grand Hyatt Kauai, this buffet is a great option. Especially if you want to fill up on brunch and not go out to eat again until dinner.

I've noticed at other places, when you get an iced coffee, there's a hint of sourness. Parking here was not an issue as it's shared with other establishments. I'm not sure of the time we went, but I did noticed Kauai not being busy at all. Compare to the last 2 times I've been here, this 3rd time, it hasn't been busy. Which I enjoyed.
