Oh my goodness! If you love perfect coffee and amazing fresh pastries, perfect banana bread, or breakfast sandwiches, this is your place. It's conveniently located on the north shore and I must admit we went three times, to pick up breakfast. It's a shop with no seating, but tables nearby and a steady stream of people picking up breakfast for their morning adventures in paradise. Quick, kind service and the best cinnamon roll on the island.

Great spot for morning pastries (right across from Starbucks), but go early as they sell out. We just got back from Kauai and I went by the bakery twice on our trip. Loved all the items we tried...muffins, macadamia nut sticky buns, lillikoi pastry (very tart), bear claw and musubi. They also have a good assortment of very pretty macarons and small tarts/cakes

    Top- Lilikoi croissant, morning bun

Quaint little bakery across from Starbucks in Poipu. Give them a visit just for the Jen's bomb alone. We went twommornings in a row and it was one of the best things I had all week. Lots of variety, but they do sell out early. Everything we had was good, some better than others, but most of them were an 8+. The Jen's bomb was an 11. I went both mornings wanting to get a scone and neither morning they had scones just visit to see what they have guarantee you it will be good. Also, they can warm it up for you so ask if that is something that you would like. The Jen's bomb warmed is out of this world.

Cute spot, friendly service, and amaaaaaazing London fog scone (earl grey, honey, vanilla bean, white chocolate). Wish I would have discovered it sooner into my trip!

Absolutely delicious, fresh and flavorful. We had the morning bun, lilikoi danish and chocolate croissant. All warmed. Went back today and got another morning bun, lilikoi danish and pog danish. Scrumptious!

Front counter area is very nicely set up. Quiche, Portuguese croissant, sticky bun, pig in blanket to name a few.

My pics are of the front counter. I went in and was overwhelmed with so many choices. Great sweets with coffee. Very tasty and service is quick at the counter! Great little shop to pick up up some island breakfast!

Cutest shop with the most delicious pastries and kindest staff ever! I stopped in here on the morning of my wedding to get a bunch of pastries for my bridal party and family to munch on while we were getting ready. They were so welcoming and kind in the shop and very accommodating to my extremely last minute (and large) order. My favorite items were the morning buns and the chocolate croissants, but you really couldn't go wrong with anything from here. My family devoured everything so quickly!

Delicious! Just delicious. We went back to back mornings for their yummy cinnamon rolls. They have two different varieties and both were delicious. We also had the savory croissant and it was great as well. They offer a wide variety of fresh baked desserts, coffee cake, croissant, scones and much more. I highly recommend you check this place out. I'm grateful there is not one in my hometown or I would want to go everyday!

Picked up 3 cinnamon rolls to go!

Missed out on the delicious cinnamon the first day, so we got three other yummy pastries! Went back another time during our stay to get a cinnamon roll! Be there before 8am to grab one

Any layered pastry (e.g., croissants) is going to be amazing. Especially liked the savory croissant and 'au chocolate.

We picked up a whole Island Lemon Pie to take with us (forgot to get a photo). I got myself a slice of the Macadamia Nut Pie to go, which was delicious, especially with vanilla bean ice cream. Everything we've tried here has been consistently good and we've never had a bad experience. If you're planning a visit, try to get there early since popular flavors can sell out. Definitely worth a stop!

In town for the day simply to show me an investment property my family and I might be interested in the very near future, before she departed she had to pick up an order of pies to bring back to her family. Of course, I came along for the ride because I liked pie, but I was curious how good they were if she was willing to fly several of them in her carry-on. Founded by Sandy in October 2009, she quickly adjusted her business model from doing six community events a week to her first retail location in Lihue in 2011. The business continued to grow that led to a second location this time in Kalaheo in 2014. Fast-forward to today, the Kalaheo store is the only one standing, and she has cultivated a strong following both near and far of pie fans and the continued support of the local community. Did I choose the right slice for my first time here!? PURCHASE(S) Mango Lilikoi Pie Slice ($8.50): Their most popular pie, they had me at mango! Filled with plump juicy mangoes combined with the just right amount of lilikoi (passionfruit) and topped with a sugar crust. Juicy sweetness burst in every bite, and I was in pure heaven! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=-IUMWv6HB5wpv9AiQ-Y_bg Macadamia Nut Pie Slice ($8.50): This time, they had me at macadamia! Made with a ton of island macadamia nuts, roasted to a perfect golden brown combined with butter, eggs, sugar, and fresh spices for a nutty tropical sensation, this pie reminded me of a pecan pie but so much better! It was heavy, thick, and required a cold glass of milk to perfectly pair it with. I went nuts for this pie! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=JfthjT1sMLgeXqbfMPGzhA To-Go Containers ($0.50 x2): For my dessert, I've never been charged this before, but I understood businesses needed to cut/pass along costs as much as possible - c'est la vie. Credit Card Surcharge 3.00% ($0.57): Another pass-along fee that has become more prevalent - oh well. SERVICE I was warmly greeted by a young woman behind the counter who gave me time to review the menu while she offered recommendations. Once I ordered, my items were quickly packed and ready to go - mahalo! PARKING (FREE): We were lucky to grab one of the five small spots in front of their shop (it was very difficult to back out due to the heavily-trafficked thoroughfare). Otherwise, I wasn't sure where else you could park nearby - be prepared. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A country shop-like and ice-cream parlor feel with a couple of wooden tables, pie display https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=5gAkOcUYZ1pbgpC8UZq5xg cases, a pie menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=vSyaGOufl1cmq9OBOppvPw hung from the ceiling behind the counter, counters and shelves with merchandise, and an open entry way that welcomed you https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=jSiOeD6ISWVAot4Qkz2e1A in for a treat. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large front doors and windows while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs, while pop music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=53zRcRMKuNaS23ufwnBORw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL The Right Slice offered magical pies both savory and sweet (I must return to try a savory one!) all made from scratch and with a ton of love. The care and pride was tasted in each incredible bite, and I wished I had one to bring back with me after I ate each slice back at the resort. Everything tasted phenomenal, the prices may've been a tad high (but well worth it!), and the service was calming and straightforward. Plus, I always loved to try and support small local mom & pop businesses. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $19.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
