If you want a waffle that ends all your searches for GREAT Waffles this is the place to come. Liege waffles! The Tropical waffle was AMAZING...fresh pineapple, toasted coconut, macadamia nuts. The Matcha Latte with Oat Milk was perfect. There are a big variety of baked goods. The service was top-notch - delivered to table! Quaint and clean inside.

Entrance to the small shop. Easy to miss.

5-Star Review for Kauai Petite Sweets My wife, my son, and I decided to head into Old Town Koloa to grab something sweet and a cup of coffee. We happened to come across Kauai Petite Sweets, and what a great find it was! As is so often the case in Kauai, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The shop offered a large selection of delicious coffee cakes, pastries, and rolls, along with an impressive menu of coffee and specialty drinks. My wife and I shared a cinnamon roll, which was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed a fantastic cup of freshly brewed coffee. My son ordered a specialty coffee drink that he couldn't stop raving about. We sat at one of the small outdoor tables, enjoying the warm rain and the relaxing atmosphere--it made for a perfect morning treat. If you're in the Koloa area, I highly recommend stopping by Kauai Petite Sweets for great coffee, tasty pastries, and friendly service!

Friendly service, great cold brews, and fantastic baked goods. Can't go wrong with the Lemon Blueberry Scone, or the Mac Nut Cinnamon Roll! Definitely coming back for more!

Familiar flavors, sophisticated combinations made these soft cookies deliciously divine!

Kauai Petite Sweets is 'special' with a capital S! Or as we say on Kauai--SPE-SHOW!! I live on Oahu now but I was born and raised on Kauai. I've tried many specialty bakeries on Oahu but nothing compares to the down-home goodness of the sweets at this quaint shop in the heart of Koloa. I stopped by on my way to the airport and was greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who made me feel like I was being invited into their home. They offered advice on the many treats and pointed out their favorites. But I still couldn't make up my mind! Not to worry, they offered some samples to help me decide. For a small place, the selection was impressive. They have a case full of refrigerated options as well as cookies and freeze dried candies. Since I had to catch a flight, I opted for some cookies. The owner Selina, packed me a to-go box of six of her giant, soft cookies. I got to pick from a selection of flavors. I also grabbed two boxes of bite-sized cookies beautifully wrapped in stylish, season-inspired packaging. Finished off my shopping with a bag of their new seasonal cookies. I planned to bring these back to Oahu to share with coworkers and neighbors. My husband whose sweet-tooth tendencies make him a cookie aficionado took one bite of the praline cookies and declared he was not sharing! Our Ohana could have the Anahola Granola and Kauai Kitchen manju instead. Every day for a week he enjoyed one of the cookies or two! They were a fusion of familiar flavors and sophisticated combinations. And the textures were perfect! He said they were the BEST cookies he ever had. And trust me, he's had LOTS of cookies. If you live on Kauai, stop by and give this place a try. You will NOT be disappointed. Get yourself something and share (don't be like my husband). When you gift these sweets, the recipient is sure to feel special (Spe-Show!) because you can taste the love in each bite. Plus the packaging is first rate. I also heard Selina does special occasion cakes and catering. I would definitely trust her to sweeten up my events. If you are a visitor, this is a great place to grab some to-go items to share back home. Again, don't be like my husband and share! Or try a cold brew, grab something from the refrigerated case, take a seat on the patio, and kick back and relax like we do on Kauai. No need rush!! Kauai Petite Sweets just gives me another reason to visit my home island! I can't wait for a second return. I already have plans to try one of their cold brew concoctions. If it's anything like the sample iced tea with lilikoi foam I tried, it's going to be AH-mazing. And, I'm not going to be like my husband and I'm going to share with my Kauai Ohana. I might just make up an occasion so I can order a cake or tray of her petite sweets. Until then, I'll just have to be satisfied with sweet dreams about this sweet shop... There is one thing we don't like about this place--we cannot get it on Oahu!

I am so glad I found this place! I actually found this place by accident looking for something else. Immediately, I felt the ohana vibe! Everybody there who was working was absolutely kind, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I loved their coffee choices, and I couldn't choose which one I wanted. I am so glad to see them here on Yelp so people can review them and spread the word. This place is it! You definitely will not regret coming here! Mahalo!

A little poem for Koloa Towns new sweet spot! On our most recent trip to Kauai I discovered some new yummy treats, Cookies, Cheesecakes & Baked Goods At a new spot called Kauai Petite Sweets! It was only by pure chance That we discovered this new place, You will be shocked by all the desserts That they are making in this tiny space. The floor is completely pink And this color seems to be their theme, I'm sure the opening of this place in 2023 Was the owners biggest dream. The Garden Isle indeed just got better And now it's just that much sweeter, If your girl has a sweet tooth like mine Then you better just come here and treat her. During our most recent visit in July 2024 We were happily greeted by their crew, They were so kind and welcoming I couldn't wait to give them their 1st 5 Star review! Welcome to the neighborhood KPS I wish you nothing but the best, We loved all 6 cookies that we got from you They for sure passed MY sweet tooth test. Aloha from the Mainland.

The folks are 100% not playing around when it comes to cheesecake. Sweet, flavorful, everything the body needs. Biscoff anything is great but even more so in cheesecake form with kind of a more milder cheesecake filling, very strong biscoff crust. Also had the peanut butter cheesecake which is one of the better peanut butter fillings I've had, touch of salt to enhance the balance. Service was great.

Stopped in multiple times for sweet treats during our stay in Poipu. So many desserts on display--from cookies, scones and cakes to specialty cold foam topped cold brews. The Oreo cheesecake was our favorite--I'm not a huge cheesecake fan but this dessert was more mousse-like to me. The pumpkin scone was moist and had the perfect level of spices. The owner was super friendly and was even kind enough to provide napkins and utensils. Definitely drop in if you need a sweet pick me up!

Stopped in for a sweet treat to take back to the hotel. It was hard to decide since there was so much goodness. The air was filled with banana bread baking. We decided on a slice of rainbow cake. Brought it back and threw it in the fridge. Came back with a glass of milk and was floored. This cake was so moist and soft. Perfect pairing for a glass of milk. I will be back before we leave to take a slice home.

Cute little shop where everything is clearly homemade. We had the cinnamon roll and it was heavenly. The Mac nut scone was good as well, but the cinnamon roll was better.

Was having a hard time finding a bakery to make my sister's wedding cake and came across this Yelp…read morepage. I gave her a call and told her I wanted a three layer 6 inch semi naked cake without borders. She asked me what flavor and told me Likikoi was popular. Done. Mailed her a check. On the day of the wedding, she showed up with this beautiful cake, on a cake board complete with banana leaves (I bought and took a cake stand with me but I shouldn't have bothered), and even though I told her no flowers, she brought a ziploc bag with fresh flowers with stems prepared to decorate the cake. Guys, this level of service is so above and beyond on so many levels. First of all, my own $700 engagement cake made in LA made me get my own flowers from the florist for decoration! Second, this cake was METICULOUSLY made. I bake layered tiered cakes for the odd occasion, and I can appreciate the meticulous clean beautiful layers of cake, frosting, and lilikoi filling when the cake was cut open. Wow. Third, the cake was moist and delicious! Most guests went for seconds at least, and after the party was over, the whole cake was gone (this is a party of 9 adults, this was a LOT of cake per person!) I haven't written an extensive review in a long time but I cannot recommend Sandi's cakes enough. If you ever need a cake on Kauai, there is no question, Sandi is your gal. The ONLY thing that I could improve on the experience would be the ability to pay and communicate online. Perhaps Venmo or even Zelle would have been great. Then a confirmation text or call on the day of or the day before would also have been very nice. Also, I think she needs a PR manager because obviously I think everybody needs to know about Sandi and her amazing cakes Thank you thank you Sandi!!

My wedding cake was absolutely stunning! More than I could have hoped for. And just as delicious…read more Sandy was great, a pleasure to work with! The flowers were so fresh, I put them in water and they are still alive and gorgeous 4 days later.

The milkshake was blended to perfection, tasting like banana heaven with subtle notes of nuttiness. I truly enjoyed it. The inside of the shop was vibrant and colorful. In addition to the treats offered at the counter, there were plenty of products available for purchase, such as pancake mix, coconut syrup, coffee, cookies, nuts, and more. There were two employees assisting all of the guests. There was a bit of a wait; however, they kept the line moving fairly quickly and maintained a pleasant disposition while serving customers. All in all, I highly recommend stopping by Mango's for delectable sweet treats while exploring Kōloa.

If you knew me, I loved all-things mangos, so this was a no-brainer to check it out. A family-owned business that opened in 2022, they served shave ice, ice cream, homemade desserts, Dole Whip, and fun souvenirs. How would my shave ice experience be, and did they have mango flavor!? PURCHASE(S) Small Shave Ice Mango & Watermelon + Additional Flavor Coconut ($8.95 + $0.75): A decent portion size, this was as fluffy as you would come to expect from any shave ice purchased on any of the Hawaiian Islands (the fluffier the better, please!). The three tropical flavors I selected paired perfectly. Not overly sweet, they each had their own distinct taste. As I rapidly tried to eat this frozen treat so it wouldn't melt and make a mess, I wished it came with a funnel skirt or platform to catch everything (Matsumoto had something to this effect which was a wonderful idea). Regardless, with brief bouts of brain-freeze, this was a nice way to end my day in Old Koloa Town. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=AGCmC1dKOuMUr2QlwEY0kg Cinnamon Toast Cake Slice ($5.95): This simply looked amazing as it sat in the display case, so I had to take one for later. Once I got into it the next morning for breakfast, it was still fluffy, light, and moist with all of the goodness of cinnamon toast crunch cereal, and the creamy thick layer of frosting was truly the icing on the cake. I wished I had another for later! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=AhMBmjk9xwxIcLxzWMrihg SERVICE Warmly greeted by two friendly young women behind the counter, I was able to browse the menu while they helped the group ahead of me. Once it was my turn, I knew what I wanted, easily placed my order, I soothingly watched one of them craft my shave ice while the other packaged my cake and rang me up. Minutes later, I was at an outside table with my prized possession - easy-peasy! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance): I took the bus, so this wasn't an issue for me. Otherwise, there appeared to be some onsite parking with spots along the main drag of Koloa Rd. and other side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A brightly-painted interior that bursted with the sense of a candy store but actually an ice cream parlor, a dessert shop, and random plushies and toys was what you walked into. Simple easily legible menus of the types of treats, flavors, and prices were hung on the wall behind the counter https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=X93KwvmR6ASMbyyYSSJJTw while several racks throughout displayed other anthemic local souvenirs. A decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front doors and windows while an assortment of electric recessed and track ceiling lights filled in the rest. There weren't any TVs, but pop music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=144&select=1ZNTy-MJlQQvT5uUy6BwMw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I enjoyed my time and treats at Mango's and would consider another return if I were in the area and wanted a dessert. The menu options and flavors were very limited, the prices a bit elevated (except for the cake), and the service was easy and straightforward. Plus, I always loved to try and support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $16.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
