Ko really came through with an outstanding cake delicate Italian buttercream frosting with a subtle hint of lime paired with a lilikoi filling. It was one of the best cakes I have had in a long time. It was not overly sweet, but the flavor was perfect. I thought the lady I spoke to over. The phone was very nice and in the store the service was friendly. They're open early, which was exactly what I needed after an early flight. The staff was incredibly friendly, and there's convenient parking right next to the shop. They also have covered outdoor seating, which is perfect if you get caught in one of Kauai's quick rain showers. Smiles are everywhere from the baristas to the servers to the owner/managers and even the other patrons! Everyone seems to know everyone there! On the day I visited, there was a group of local aunties and uncles who brought their melodic voices and ukuleles to sing and serenade in the traditional Hawaiian ways with meles (songs), talk story, and a single flower for the Wahini (women/girls) to tuck behind their ear. Even our little fur baby "Sophia" (nestled in our arms) was greeted in the true aloha spirit!
