Food was delicious! We had the Haupia French toast and the pancake meal. Husband love the pineapple juice and I had the Lilikoi iced tea, both drinks were super refreshing. We sat out in the amphitheater area as the three tables outside were already full and it was a great way to start our day on this side of the island. It is takeaway food so if you're looking for an indoor sit down type of place, there's a few other spots near by but you'd definitely be missing out!

I loved this little cafe, it's a great spot for a quick breakfast. It's located in a shopping plaza, so there are a few other stores around as well. The cafe is mostly takeout, but we ordered and sat at one of the two small tables outside. The owner was super friendly and ran the place himself, which made the experience even better. Here's what I tried: Surfer Bowl - I'd highly recommend this if you like rice with your breakfast. It was very flavorful, and everything worked well together. Definitely my favorite. (5/5) Tow-In - If you're in the mood for French toast, this is a solid choice. It's pretty simple, but the coconut topping adds a nice touch. Basic, but good. (4/5) If you need an early bite and you're in the area, this spot serves up a solid breakfast with friendly service. Parking: Easy, with plenty of spaces in the lot.

You order at the counter and wait/eat at the communal table right outside the shop. The food came out quick! The polish sausage they use here is really good. The macademia nut pancakes are the best we've tried but a little on the small side. Next time we will order an additional stack. The french toast came with a piece of coconut Jello that complimented it really well. Comforting and delicious food with quick service. The perfect combo to get you started for the day on the most important meal of the day.

Chef John Adams opened Anuenue Cafe in 2015 and one of our favorite places to go for a quick breakfast bite. A feature a lemon curd sincers on three Hawaiian bread which is the best on the island for an excellent coffee great service they must stop it while in Poipu

Cute cafe in a shopping area. Order inside and seating is picnic style outside. Staff will bring your food out to you. Arrive early as the line will long as they get busy. My sandwich was messy but so good.

Thank you for going out of your way to get bananas and make banana pancakes during my stay in Kauai. I was only there 5 days and banana pancakes were on my list. They made delicious pancakes with eggs and sausage. Breakfast was so yummy!!!!

My husband and I had a yummy breakfast here. They are in a shopping center. They don't have tables inside but there are some outside. The guy working was awesome and very prompt and helpful. My husband got the Riptide eggs Benedict and thought it was incredible!!! They didn't mention that this came with overnight oats which normally wouldn't matter but it had some stuff that we can't have due to allergies. The avocado toast was delicious but very messy. I really enjoyed the lilikoi iced tea and they did tell me I could get refills. This is a really solid breakfast option to stop in to before shopping.

Nice little breakfast joint in walking distance to the beach. There is free parking in the complex and a bunch of shops to walk around as well. The food was solid. I got the French toast and my husband got the Kalua pork. We both enjoyed the meals. The French toast is pretty large and I did not finish it. The bacon was perfect! The roosters and birds surrounded us trying to get to his food!

Our first morning on Kauai, we went to a local restaurant on the south shore. To our delight, the breakfast turned out to be the best of the whole trip. The French toast with lemon and berry topping was to die for. We sat at a nearby picnic table While the chickens roamed around the yard, very fun atmosphere. Service was kind and efficient, small place with a big taste.

Went here twice for breakfast and it was consistently delicious! The food is flavorful, seasoned perfectly and the eggs are incredibly fluffy. Even our picky toddler ate an entire portion of scrambled eggs! We loved the surfer's bowl, the tube ride, the mea kanu and the rip ride :) don't skip out on their cold brew either because it was one of the best we've had on the island. The service is quick and friendly. There are two tables with benches you can use to eat right next to the restaurant.

We come here for breakfast often when on the island. My absolute fav is the pork fried rice breakfast! Good lord it's good! The way the chef crisps up that rice!! My hubby had the french toast with eggs and Portuguese sausage and he raved about it. It's casual, little seating and gets busy! But go! It's a must

Tucked away little breakfast spot in the Poipu area. It's located in the Kiahuna Plantation center so gotta go looking for it. One of the few breakfast places in the area that's not on a resort or a Starbucks. Was pretty busy in the morning but food comes out pretty quickly after you place your order. We got the avocado toast sandwich which was $17 a pop. It was essentially a BLT with guac and pesto which definitely put a different spin on this sandwich. The bread was toasted well and doesn't cut the top of your mouth (thank goodness). Overall, great food.

Flashback price on chicken wing of $0.25 each, max 10 per person. We ordered 20 buffalo wings and fish tacos. They have a great selection of the local Kauai Brewing Company beers, another reason we want to try this place. We started we the pale ale and the Cook IPA. Cold, tasty and refreshing. We also tried the chicken IPA and Fonz IPA. All were great! Our favorite was the Cook IPA. The chicken wings had a nice heat level and were perfect accompanied by beer. The fish grilled tacos were fantastic. This will definitely be our go to place to watch a game and just a quick bite. Looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

The first time we spent just over $100 for a family of 5, and last night we got out of there for $88. That is a feat in this part of town! The happy hour is unbeatable. $7 drinks and 25 cent wings. Note that you have to have minimum two drinks per person, but they don't have to be alcoholic--we got a cocktail as our first and soda water as the second. The cocktails are quite large, so you can still get the $7 price if you order a soda or sparkling water as your second drink. The waitress was super helpful and let us know that last night! We went for taco Tuesday yesterday and the tacos were $1 each! They were good--not insane but great for the price and hit the spot. The service is great and the food and drinks come out quickly despite being busy. The drinks are standard fare, nothing crazy delicious, but for the price it's great. The food is all yummy. We especially love their chicken wings! Home-fried and lots of meat. All of the dipping sauces are excellent too. We haven't had a bad dish here! Truly wonderful prices, good food, and great for the whole family.

We had been to Tidepools together a few years ago, pre-kiddo, but this recent time was memorable thanks to the kind wait-staff. They had crayons for our little one, allowed us to walk around and view the fish nearby, and supplied us with delicious and fresh ube rolls, which our toddler loved (so much so that we had to take her actual kid's meal to-go). I ordered the Tai Chi, which is their version of the Mai Tai, and it was solid - great balance, and I almost ordered another one, but our little one was tired. To eat we got an appetizer of scallops, which was amazing - slightly sweet crust and juicy inside. My main dish was the ribeye, which was tender, cooked to my liking, and larger than I expected. The fish itself was very fresh tasting, but it was overcooked to the point of being dry. It was also bland and seemed to be unseasoned. It sat on a bed of purple sweet potato with a fresh succotash mixture on the side. The vegetables must have been plated long before the fish was ready because the potatoes and vegetables were no longer even warm, which was an unpleasant combo with the overcooked, bland fish. There was a sauce on the side, but not nearly enough considering the dry slab of tasteless fish sitting on top of cold potatoes. Others at the table ordered the lamb chops and steaks.
