Food was delicious! We had the Haupia French toast and the pancake meal. Husband love the pineapple juice and I had the Lilikoi iced tea, both drinks were super refreshing. We sat out in the amphitheater area as the three tables outside were already full and it was a great way to start our day on this side of the island. It is takeaway food so if you're looking for an indoor sit down type of place, there's a few other spots near by but you'd definitely be missing out!
You order at the counter and wait/eat at the communal table right outside the shop. The food came out quick! The polish sausage they use here is really good. The macademia nut pancakes are the best we've tried but a little on the small side. Next time we will order an additional stack. The french toast came with a piece of coconut Jello that complimented it really well. Comforting and delicious food with quick service. The perfect combo to get you started for the day on the most important meal of the day.
Cute cafe in a shopping area. Order inside and seating is picnic style outside. Staff will bring your food out to you. Arrive early as the line will long as they get busy. My sandwich was messy but so good.

Thank you for going out of your way to get bananas and make banana pancakes during my stay in Kauai. I was only there 5 days and banana pancakes were on my list. They made delicious pancakes with eggs and sausage. Breakfast was so yummy!!!!
My husband and I had a yummy breakfast here. They are in a shopping center. They don't have tables inside but there are some outside. The guy working was awesome and very prompt and helpful. My husband got the Riptide eggs Benedict and thought it was incredible!!! They didn't mention that this came with overnight oats which normally wouldn't matter but it had some stuff that we can't have due to allergies. The avocado toast was delicious but very messy. I really enjoyed the lilikoi iced tea and they did tell me I could get refills. This is a really solid breakfast option to stop in to before shopping.
Nice little breakfast joint in walking distance to the beach. There is free parking in the complex and a bunch of shops to walk around as well. The food was solid. I got the French toast and my husband got the Kalua pork. We both enjoyed the meals. The French toast is pretty large and I did not finish it. The bacon was perfect! The roosters and birds surrounded us trying to get to his food!
Our first morning on Kauai, we went to a local restaurant on the south shore. To our delight, the breakfast turned out to be the best of the whole trip. The French toast with lemon and berry topping was to die for. We sat at a nearby picnic table While the chickens roamed around the yard, very fun atmosphere. Service was kind and efficient, small place with a big taste.
Went here twice for breakfast and it was consistently delicious! The food is flavorful, seasoned perfectly and the eggs are incredibly fluffy. Even our picky toddler ate an entire portion of scrambled eggs! We loved the surfer's bowl, the tube ride, the mea kanu and the rip ride :) don't skip out on their cold brew either because it was one of the best we've had on the island. The service is quick and friendly. There are two tables with benches you can use to eat right next to the restaurant.

My hubby had the french toast with eggs and Portuguese sausage and he raved about it. It's casual, little seating and gets busy! But go! It's a must
Tucked away little breakfast spot in the Poipu area. It's located in the Kiahuna Plantation center so gotta go looking for it. One of the few breakfast places in the area that's not on a resort or a Starbucks. Was pretty busy in the morning but food comes out pretty quickly after you place your order. We got the avocado toast sandwich which was $17 a pop. It was essentially a BLT with guac and pesto which definitely put a different spin on this sandwich. The bread was toasted well and doesn't cut the top of your mouth (thank goodness). Overall, great food.
Their portions are large, good and filling, see my pics. We were on the way out of town, and made a quick stop for breakfast/brunch. While they don't have inside seating, we readily found outside seating. Even though their menu is limited, see my menu pics, they execute well. Under the sandwiches heading, is their Avocado Toast, see my pic. This more than "toast", there is ample avocado and the bacon was great! It was warm, rich, creamy and bacon savory! My pic doesn't do justice to the Shark Omelet - it should be sold by the pound. There were a ton of meats, and it seemed more than 3 eggs. This was savory and rich, truly filling. At the time we visited, this is only a morning restaurant.

Breakfast at the spot that we were staying was super pricey, so took the opportunity to head out and saw the glowing reviews for Anuenue Cafe, and glad that we stopped by. It's sort of in the middle of an outdoor shopping plaza, and was pretty popular for brunch with a significant line waiting to order. I ended up getting the Riptide Benedict and cold brew, and it was amazing. Delicious kalua pork on the muffin with a perfectly cooked drizzly egg, accompanied with overnight oats. I really enjoyed it. I will say though it was a little bit tough eating with a little one on the benches. I didn't see any high chairs, and of course there were a bunch of chickens around the outdoor eating space. With a little one, just be ready for what you're in for with no indoor seating, but come for the food! read more
I was pleasantly surprised by this little cafe - I LOVED their banana pancakes, and I'm a pancake snob. I also loved their overnight oats. There are 2 picnic tables next to the shop, as well as a little step seating area nearby. Unfortunately the owner snapped at the front waitress due to a payment terminal issue, which dampened our experience - he should treat her better, it wasn't her fault! read more
I loved this little cafe, it's a great spot for a quick breakfast. It's located in a shopping plaza, so there are a few other stores around as well. The cafe is mostly takeout, but we ordered and sat at one of the two small tables outside. The owner was super friendly and ran the place himself, which made the experience even better. Here's what I tried: Surfer Bowl - I'd highly recommend this if you like rice with your breakfast. It was very flavorful, and everything worked well together. Definitely my favorite. (5/5) Tow-In - If you're in the mood for French toast, this is a solid choice. It's pretty simple, but the coconut topping adds a nice touch. Basic, but good. (4/5) If you need an early bite and you're in the area, this spot serves up a solid breakfast with friendly service. Parking: Easy, with plenty of spaces in the lot. read more

We stopped by for brunch after 10am and was very short line. It's a small shop in the shopping center. We ordered The Shark, Kalua Pork fried rice and breakfast plate. The Shark was too salty for me so I didn't really enjoy it. The fried rice was good but the toasted rice pieces hurt our teeth. The breakfast plate was decent. We sat at the bench right outside but be warned the chickens will come at you. Will jump up on table and will try to eat your food. read more

Yummy breakfast! It's a to go place but there is a small area next to Anuenue where you can sit and enjoy your food. Everything we ordered was so good. The kahlua pork fried rice (watch out for the jalepenos); the Shark omelet was full of meat for meat lovers; and the side of hauoia French toast was amazing. Lots of cute shops to checkout in the area after eating! read more

Small cute place. My family and I, stopped here twice for their breakfast! Which was amazing! Not to much sitting area though... I had the plain French toast which came with 1 big piece of French toast, 2 eggs, and 3 pieces of bacon .. amazing!!! The service was fast, and quick. The girl greets you with a smile and is pleasant :) Would definitely be back, next time in town. read more

Solid takeout breakfast cafe, an appealing menu cooked to order. I enjoyed the veggie fried rice with a couple of eggs, enough carbs and protein to keep me satisfied until dinnertime. The cold brewed iced coffee is great, too. Note that there are actually two park benches to sit at, one next to the cafe, and one hidden around the corner next to adjacent sandwich shop which opens later in the day. You do have to share them with the resident roosters and chickens and their chicks, as well as the other customers. Get here early before a line forms, although it does move quickly. Conveniently located in the Poipu Shopping Village, plenty of parking. read more

Wow this magnificent veggie fried-rice is more than just a delicious breakfast! Amazing flavors make this meal more of a love letter to me. Yes, Chef! Yes, I love you, too, for cooking this perfect plate of yummy goodness. If we ever meet, I promise to thank you myself. I've tried almost everything on the menu here at Anuenue, and everything is spectacular including the location and atmosphere. I return often for the overnight oats, hibiscus tea and now my all-time favorite veggie fried-rice! Yum! read more

Great local gem with tasty food, generous portions, and fair prices. I've been coming here for years, and they've been consistently solid every time. The Kalua pork fried rice with jalapeños hits a perfect balance of sweet and heat and is a great way to start the day. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Seating is limited outdoors, but it's ideal for a quick, satisfying grab-and-go. read more

Tucked in Po'ipu shopping village, Anuenue Cafe offers delicious breakfast options! It is counter service and they have limited seating to the right of their building. If that area is crowded, you can always take your meal to the middle of the shopping village where there is plenty of area of sit. Beware of the birds and chickens though - they will approach! I opted for the Mea Kanu omelet. It was a good sized omelet, filled with a variety of veggies and topped with pesto, balsalmic drizzle, and cherry tomates. I also got a little taste of their overnight oats which were good! My order came out timely and the service was friendly. If you're looking for breakfast on the go, Anuenue would be a great place to pick up from. The menu is diverse offering a unique blend of tradtional American and Hawaiian style brekfasts. read more
Amazing breakfast that you can get relatively quickly without having to dine in. We ordered the french toast and an omelette. Both absolutely delicious. The French toast is definitely a must order. Fluffy, sweet, and cooked to perfection. The shark omelette which is basically bacon, kulia pork, and ham was a bit salty but definitely a good choice. Portion sizes were on the smaller side (1 piece of French toast) and definitely left us wanting a bit more. Service was friendly and quick. The location is a small spot with 1 outside table for seating. Perfect for taking out back to your resort or eating around the shop plaza. Needed to get away from the big resort hotel and yelp steered me here! A very short line when we arrived that moved quickly and I loved the kalua pork fried rice with over easy eggs cooked perfectly. My only struggle was the lack of seating. There was one adjacent picnic table but it was full, so we sat on a bench area around the corner. The sparrows and a chicken immediately accosted me and it was tough to enjoy my meal. Still, would return and maybe take back to the hotel. read more

Can you order for pick up?
Yes you can. There is no indoor seating or table service. You walk up order and grab your food. Food is very good!
Do you take reservations for large parties?
I am almost sure they don't. Once you see their setup it order and sit outside the type of place. Service is very good so you don't wait in line long and the FOOD is well worth any wait.
Is this place closed?
We are just closed for today only, Jan 31st doing some kitchen maintenance. Open 7 days a week again tomorrow. Eat with aloha!!!
