Sheraton's convenience store for hotel guests. You can get water, gifts, snacks, souvenirs, and even wine here. Pour your own coffee and toast your own bagel. A banana will cost you $2.50! It's very pricey! There is usually only one clerk behind the counter and service can be slow. There is a small area inside with table and chairs, and more seating outside that looks into the beautiful Sheraton courtyard area. I guess we could have stocked up on snacks at a market in town, but we enjoyed making Link's our first stop in the morning for our coffee and bagel before heading out to watch the sunrise.

Turkey egg McMuffin which is worst than a gas station!

Avoid this place at ALL cost! The egg turkey McMuffin was simply a microwave frozen tv dinner for $7. Go to the nearest Starbucks or McDonalds instead. Breakfast burrito was frozen and reheated. Safeway burritos in the frozen aisle is better than this! Everything is literally from a frozen section to be reheated and a gas station can do better. I'm sorry, but this is one of the worst dining hotel places I've ever been. It's like they don't even try to make anything appeasing because there is no walkable distance places besides them. Do yourself a favor and get a protein bar and banana from the grocery store if you want a quick bite before your morning activities. The only reason we came here was because we had a 8am activity and this was our of convenience. DO NOT come here!!!

Link@Sheraton Café has coffee (Starbucks), beverages (water, soft-drinks), breakfast items (like oatmeal & croissant or muffin sandwiches with bacon, egg, cheese, etc) and sandwiches like roast beef, turkey, etc. The deli sandwiches start at (iirc) 11am and most (all?) items are pre-made so not much customizing. The odd name (IMO) comes from the "Link@Sheraton(sm) Experience with Microsoft(tm)" which appeared to be referring to the handful of Win7 machines near the concierge plus several within the café. I saw this naming in the Guest Services binder, not by the "Link" machines so hopefully this is working out for the M$oft marketing ROI. Anyway, we came for breakfast items a couple of days during our stay. The g/f went with the more nutritious oatmeal (topping choices of Almonds, Brown Sugar, Raisins) and I went with the Sausage Egg & Chz Muffin ($5.50). Breakfast sandwiches get zapped in the microwave way too long. Bread gets tough and cheese gets crunchy (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/link-sheraton-caf%C3%A9-koloa?select=vrOslf9jq3avw16dGQS8qQ#OnRWl4QdHRQTC6FK087Jsg). Ask to have time reduced and it will be much better. Oatmeal not bad (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/link-sheraton-caf%C3%A9-koloa?select=vrOslf9jq3avw16dGQS8qQ#biVSUvS5LUTbO3tDyFv7WQ). Variable toppings amounts depending on the worker. Cute feral will eat just about any leftovers (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/link-sheraton-caf%C3%A9-koloa?select=vrOslf9jq3avw16dGQS8qQ#KEAeCjtR0kxCP0YXbmlxVA). There's a small sundry's section which inexplicably does not have Sunblock. You're a resort in Hawaii. Where's the nearest ABC Store??

The good: Open till 11 pm and they make hot pizzas. There is a ice cream and cold beer in the fridge. Starbucks coffee and good pastries. There is almost everything you need for your hotel room snack needs The bad: they don't allow you to use their microwave to reheat your food that is cold or left over.

1 liter bottle of water was $4.00 ugh...

Goods are overpriced. But what do you expect from a resort. Always upselling anything & everything. Only place close enough to get a snack before bed. Room service is done at 9pm. Can't really expect the girl behind the counter to be very helpful, just because she is the only one there. At least she was nice.

    Coconut Muffin

I had a coconut muffin at the link today. It was fine but not what I had imagined a $6 muffin would taste like. I expected a lot more coconut flakes in my muffin. My husband had a blueberry muffin. There was plenty of blueberries in the muffin, but it didn't taste special. My husband said there was no wow factor.

Very, very overpriced! It's like they take advantage of you because you're at the resort! Shame!

It's light, fresh, but packed with soo much flavor that exploded in my mouth! I couldnt get enough of it!!! At first my friend and I were debating whether or not to add macadamia nut inside d/t the extra cost, but boy is it worth it! The oxtail soup was really good too. Especially how easily the meat fell off the bone and the flavor that warmed the heart and soul. By far my favorite food stop in Kauai. And I'd come back to visit just for their food! Service was efficient and fast and at the end they give u a receipt to which u then go up front to pay. Ambiance is like an old school dinner that's frequently packed with locals and guests 5 stars!!

As someone who's never been to Kauai, I'll say the one spot/food that was repeatedly recommended by…read morelocals was tip top's oxtail soup. Like brah, it kept coming up whenever anyone would list their favorites. So you know your boy had to check em out. The setting is def unique hahaha. It's a lil restaurant on the first floor of a motel? Also, check their hours and days bc they're at least closed on mondays and I think close at like 130 every day. Now what you see is their half-size portion of oxtail. I think I paid $25-30 after tax and tip. Something like that. But brah, even after a sunrise hike, my big back struggled to finish allll that. The taste was definitely solid. I will say I've had better oxtail soup in Oahu, even from Liliha. BUT no complaints, I'm glad I tried out tip top's! It was obviously a local favorite as the entire place was packed with straight up locals--don't think I saw one tourist in there.

We sat on the patio but they call the main dining room however it is outside. The host and the servers were very nice on both days helping us choose our dishes and beverages. The first night were shared the shrimp and unui (sp?) patties. They were tasty and slightly sweet but over-charred and the sauce served with them did not complement them very well. It needed a fresher sauce or something with a little kick The first night I Had the chicken Which is actually a tiny little bird I should've known from the name. - pouisson. It was well cooked, but there was very little meat on all of the bones. And also needed a sauce of some kind. The one baby bok choy was a nice addition. Two of the group had the fish and chips it was made with swordfish that night and was very tasty. However, the chips were slightly limp and not hot. No one wanted to return them, but they really were not very good. One of the other entrées was the veggie bowl with seared Aji tuna and it had quinoa at the bottom with lots of roasted beets and other vegetables. It was a very good dish. The second time I ordered the grilled seafood bowl because that night they were offering Oppa as the grilled fish on the kebabs/skewers that were served on top of the bowl the seafood was cooked, absolutely perfectly, and it had pickled cucumbers, pickled red onions, slightly cooked carrots, and then regular cucumbers on top of lightly dressed soba noodles. It was a very tasty and hearty bowl. We also ordered a kale, beet and blue cheese salad for the table, but what came out was their strange version of Caesar salad, which has chickpeas on it which of course we did not want. It took them quite a while to bring the kale and beet salad to the table, however when they did, it was quite tasty a combination I would not have thought of on my own The first night we ordered the passionfruit cheesecake which had a strange chocolate crust that was too thick and a very light topping of passionfruit. It was fine, but we would not order it again. The whole restaurant is a nice change from all of the really overpriced offerings in the area. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is professional and fun at the same time.

Best poke bowl that I had on Kauai!…read more This restaurant has outdoor seating and also a health-centered grocery store inside. It's in the main Poipu outdoor shopping mall area. We ordered takeout and while waiting for our food, we browsed the grocery aisles and then checked out the surrounding shops. I really enjoyed the Ahi poke bowl. There was this tasty kimchi cucumber on the side with sweet o ions and avocado. The fish was fresh. G got the quinoa and vegetable bowl, topped with roasted chicken. It was a delicious salad with beets, macadamia nuts, kale, and more- and the chicken was nice and moist.
