I can only say great things about Ecola and their team. Very reliable company and a pleasure to work with. We had the rodents and termites treatment done, the eco version of it (not the tenting), and everything went very smooth. Arthur, the technician who performed the service, was very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all the questions we asked regarding the treatment. Also, despite the teribile heat outside he took his time with the treatment, making sure that every area affected by termites and rodents was treated properly. Many thanks to Will the technician who performed the initial inspection and to Arthur who performed an outstanding service ! read more

I went with ECOLA out of recommendation from a friend, should have done my research and looked up all the reviews first before proceeding. The inspector Dave was great and very helpful with identifying our termite problem and providing instructions for preparing ourselves for the tenting process. Reason for the 2/5 was the lack of ownership for the damage they caused to a line that was our internet connection, during the tenting process the line was snapped. When we returned we had no wifi, we chased the issue to the snapped line. Our internet provider had to come out and repair the damage (for a fee of course). I called ECOLA right away to see if they could compensate for the added costs I incurred due to these damages and they gave me the work around and ultimately left me in the dark. If you are looking for a termite company that will take care of you and your home from beginning to end, DO NOT go with ECOLA. read more

Beware if you have terra cotta tiles! Back in October I had my home tented for termites. Upon further inspection after the service was finished I noticed several tiles looked like they were about to fall off along the edge of the roof. My Contractor had also raised concerns about the hanging tiles. When he got up on the roof he was in shock as additional roof tiles were smashed into pieces, which came to about 235 tiles. The tiles are terracotta which are on most California homes. I have been in contact with Danny since December, when he did come out to my property, with my contractor present he agreed that there was damage done and clearly the men on the roof were not being careful with the heavy tarps. I have been strolled along by your representative hoping I will go away. I will be going to small claims as a result. Be prepared to pay additional fees once the service is finished and you will be responsible for their damages. read more

I do not recommend using this company for any rat problem. They dont have people and tools to handle the problem. I asked them to do the work. They could never find rat or mouse. And they did not even have sealing material to seal areas from where the mouse can come. I paid money and the issue still remains after 5 followups. I suggest do not use their service for any rat or mouse issues. I later found that many pipes on the roof are left open assuming that mouse can't enter from their. This is not professional. How can a professional assume that certain openings in roof will not be used by mouse? Anyway, I have to go with someone else and Ecola would not even refund my money. read more

I thought I had a major termite infestation and called Ecola to take a look. Dave came out to the property and inspected the area and determined that it was ants and not termites. He saved me a bunch of money and couldn't have been a nicer guy. Fast, reliable, and honest. A Five-Star review for Ecola. read more

Friendly service, reasonable pricing. Even though they don't use harsh chemicals, their products worked and the termites were gone.

My mother in law called in for help with termites and Hugo and Will went above and beyond to exterminate the invaders. Balcony, eaves and patio all dialed in and couldn't have represented Ecola better. 11/10 read more

This review stems from the most professional termite technician I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. William is a technician with Ecola company. he was beyond knowledgeable and immediately put his expertise to work. He was pleasant enough to extensively, distinguished the vast differences of species that existed. Histrustworthy was evident the minute he put on his booties and was very compliant with our modest requirements. I would definitely utilize this company and especially William again. Ecola is one of the best (Termite) companies that I've had the pleasure to higher to make sure that my home is Termite free. They work with your timing and scheduling and they are compassionate to all your needs. I recommend this company to anyone and it is one of the best companies I have ever had a pleasure to work with. read more

We were highly impressed with the two technicians dispatched to our home on 1/23/2023 to treat termites. Both William Rodriguez and Jeffery Little were polite, professional, and proficient! We would and will refer Ecola to our friends. read more

I had a mixed experience with Ecola. Shaun, who came out both for the estimate and the actual treatment of my home, was professional and thorough in his explanation of the preparation I needed to do in advance of the treatment and the treatment itself. He was very easy to work with accommodating. There do seem to be some scheduling and communication issues between the office and the technician. On the day of my service, the technician was running a couple of hours later than my assigned window of between 8 - 12. This had a ripple effect on my end due to the need to coordinate several things around the time of service, e.g. time-sensitive preparation of the house and dogs, being out of the house for several hours etc.. Every message I left with the office seemed to have been completely miscommunicated to the technician... if it was communicated at all. The difficulty in communication has me questioning whether I will use this company again. Shaun the technician was great, but the overall experience was frustrating. read more

Santos of Ecola Pest and Termite came by today and I could not have asked for better service! He explained everything (yes: non-toxic, no: humans and pets do not have to leave while the treatment takes place) and took his time for a thorough inspection and wrote up an estimate. Most of all Santos was super kind and pleasant! You never felt like a high pressure sales pitch (as I experienced with another mega company in the past that I never used and never called back). Santos delivers personalized, in-depth service and clear professionalism and know-how! Highly Recommended! read more

My wife and I signed up with Ecola the end of April on a Friday afternoon. We like his proposal and signed a contract for their services for rat traps in the attic and spray for insects around the house. He set the rat traps and said he wold return every week for four (4) weeks, he then went outside and sprayed around the house. He returned five (5) days later to check the traps in the attic. We thought it was a little early to be checking the traps, but he said he stopped because he was in the area. NO Rats..... That was the last we saw or heard from him. I called and left a message and it was not returned. It's been FOUR (4) WEEKS since we heard from him. I've also left a message at the company's web page. No Answer... Time for a partial refund.... read more

I've been a long time customer of Ecola. My renewal was due last year on April 2020. I made over phone and scheduled a technician to come out for annual inspection. Technician came out and did his job. One year later I called to renew contract and I was told that the payment I would make would be for last year 2020 because I never made the payment. This is ridiculous. I was told they would look into this and get back to me. No one ever got back to me so I called on 6/10/21 to follow up and pay for this year 2021. I spoke to Keyia at 8189207301 who told me that last years payment was made on April 2020 then she went on to change what she said. I asked if the conversation were recorded. She said yes so I told her to listen to our phone call because she just told me that I payed then processed to say that I didn'tpay.. I asked how did a technician come out for inspection if I didn't pay. Then she told me inspections are free. IF YOU WANT A FREE INSPECTION contact Ecola. Which this isn't true but this is what she said to me.. I advised her that i wanted to speak to a manager. She hung up on me. So, I called back the same girl answered. She said she sent Daniel a message to contact me. I post my updates. read more

I think it is terrible business when you publicly say you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you let your business SCAM people. They were at my house 5 years ago and said we had subterranean termites. I never had treatment done because just one year before they had tented our house and I felt they should have found the subterranean termites at that time. We just had our house inspected again and THERE ARE NO SUBTERRANEAN TERMITES. ECOLA totally lied to us. Thank God I didn't let them treat something that was not there. Please do not say your an honest Christian and then treat your clients so poorly. read more

I needed to do a termite inspection and to obtain the report ASAP and they delivered. We contacted Ecola and the service was excellent beginning from the secretary (possibly named Erika) to the inspector, Santos, who came out to our home. Santos told us what we needed to do to protect our home. We asked Santos about the termite inspection report, advised him about our situation, and requested it to be expedited. We were emailed the report the following day, which gave us a relief. I would contact Ecola again when we need another inspection and would refer them to friends and family. read more

Called their general number, 877-209-3554 to scheduled an appointment. The number for their Brea office is disconnected. We were looking forward to getting a quote from Ecola Termite because they have a lot of alternative eco-choices - but this company seems very large and they have multiple locations across the state, I think even all over the country..? I spoke with Christine. What a waste of time!! I don't know what was wrong with her, she was soooo slow in taking my information down. After spending 10 minutes just getting my name, phone, email, address, and the info for my house - she tells me the next appointment is December 1st. Um, we would like to get this taken care of sooner than that. When I asked her if she had anything sooner she just said no, sorry. Not very accommodating. So when I explained it'd be great to get this taken care of sooner and we are getting other quotes as soon as tomorrow, she just said "okay." and didn't seem to care she was loosing a potential customer. I can't speak for their service or the quote since I wasn't able to get one but based on Christine's customer service skills, I don't think I'd want to go with this company. read more

Heard these guys on the Radio. I really appreciate thier natural approach to pesky pest problems. Pest Control is not my favorite thing to spend money on. But when the spiders and bugs are moving your furniture for you it's time to call the experts. Orange County seems to have a serious problem with spiders for us homeowners. Not sure why... The Technichians were on-time. Yeah! They were also respectful and courteous which I really appreciate since I have young kids and a dog. They took care of our spider and ant problems and now we're a happy go lucky house once again. Thank you Sue Fries and team...really appreciate your services. Go Ecola!! read more

I had Ecola come out to do a Termite inspection awhile back. They came out - on time, friendly and were very knowledgeable in their field. I signed up for the 2 yr program. They came out and completed a GREAT job. About a yr and a half later for a follow-up appointment I made, their was a little misunderstanding as to whose fault it was (to long to explain), but Ecola chose to satisfy me the customer and came out and did more treatment. Again did a GREAT job. THANK YOU ECOLA. read more

I just had Ecola come out for a dual termite issue and I was very pleased with their customer service from beginning to end. They are professional, were able to accommodate my urgent needs and the tech (John) was very fun and pleasant to work with! The work done was very thorough...they performed the work exactly as they said it would be done, spraying my attic and wood framing, injecting the soil, etc. I went with Ecola originally due to the use of natural products that are not harmful for my dog. read more

Made an appointment and they were supposed to be out between 8-11 AM. No one showed up so I called the company. They said they would get in touch with the serviceman and let me know if he was coming and call me back. I hadn't heard anything by 11:30 so I called them again and spoke with Jody. She said they were trying to get in touch with the serviceman and would call me back. Again I didn't hear anything from them so I called at 11:45 and Jody said the serviceman " was running two hours late", yet no one from the company bothered to call me and tell me this. I was the one initiating all the calls to the company. Jody said she would arrange for a serviceman to come out at 3:30 that afternoon. When I got home at 3:20 there was a notice on my door that the serviceman had come out to my house at 12:40. There was also a message on my answering machine that Moses was only in my area on certain days and at certain times and he was not coming back that day. Again I called the company and they said they would try to get in touch with Moses and call me back which they never did. I called again at 3:45 and they said they would talk to a manager about the situation and call me back. Again never heard from them. I would not recommend this company. Actually, I felt that, I should not be giving a star rating, because of what I have experienced personally & until now, still ; the issue, is not yet resolved! When, I met Alejandro, one of their staff, he told me I will have 3 treatments/spray, once I paid $450.But,instead I only had 2 treatments! I spoke to him, but he tried to avoid me & his been relocated to a different location. Then, I called the office, they send me another staff his name is Moises, he told me, that I needed to pay $450, for another treatment & he explained to me that I should be receiving the 3rd treatment within a month! which I didn't know because Alejandro didn't mentioned it to me?! I called the office again, & the customer service told me that, the issue had been forwarded to Mr Daniel, the manager& that he will give me a call.I called back the office to follow up,the customer service she told me that his busy, because his always in the field,& up to this time, he never call me back!?And because of this I am very disappointed!! especially they are advertising that this is a Christian business, that I trusted them when they offered me their services!! This has been going on for the pass 3 weeks !! read more

During my tenure in the Construction business, I have been extremely happy with the services and courtesy of Ecola Termite and Pest Control Services - especially Estimator/Inspector Dave Williamson. Not only have I referred them to my customers, but I have also used them for my office and my family's home. The most important part of being a Service organization, is trust, ethics and transparency - because anyone can be the cheapest. However, the old saying: "You get what you pay for" clearly rings true here. Next time you are looking for topical or whole-structure treatments, or even pest and rodent work - give Ecola a call first, and trust the experts in Customer Service! read more

We have used this company for years and they continue to please us with their honesty and service. They have a great system of sending out someone to identify where the termites are and then arrange a follow up appt. for the technicians to do the work. They explain everything to you. Their treatments are not toxic- they kind of get the termites drunk so they can't eat your wood. The process lasts for 10 years. read more

A great job! We used them in the past many years ago. This time we received efficient customer service. David came out to do the estimate, he was very professional and fair. I had been using Ecola a number of years now for controlling pests both at my residence and at a rental property. Recently, I was charged for service to the rental property that did not occur. The resident (family member) of the property informed me that he had turned away the technician and that the technician would reschedule. He did not, yet I was charged $85 for service. Called it in. They reversed the charge, but they only said it wasn't fair that I was charged. It is not about fairness. It is about trust. I can't trust an organization who places the responsibility for billing on the customer. I had used them for the past three years to do pest control. I had thought it was the previous resident who was being a bit picky, but realized it was the techs at ECOLA that were shortchanging the customer. I wouldn't trust them to do work unless you can be present at the property when they arrive and when you cannot supervise. Thought I could trust them because they were on the FISH 95.9, but I guess I was wrong. read more

Absolute worst phone service I've ever been given. The woman who answered was short with me, spoke over me, and was incredibly put off that she had to take the time to give me a quote. The pricing that I was quoted was average to high end. She ran off the contract requirements that I was expected to fill without explaining any of the benefits of the service itself. When I inquired about outdoor rodent control in the form of bait boxes she told me I needed an in person estimate. I attempted to explain again that I only was looking at outside bait boxes and could she give me an idea of the cost. I was told all rodent work started at $250. I tried asking if that included just bait boxes outside (since typically other companies offer this service for about $20-30 per box with little or no fees ongoing). The woman yelled over me again that it would start at $250. At this point I asked her why her tone was so rude, since I was just trying to get information. Instead of an apology I got more attitude and yelling. I was forced to hang up on her. I would recommend not working with a company who hires staff that treats customers this way. read more
