Are you looking for an one of a kind dinner place for a special night out? Then the Eberly should be at the top of your list! The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFUL! The atrium and lighting inside is stunning and don't even get me on the one of a kind bar that was shipped from CA in pieces. Let's talk about the food shall we? TOP NOTCH! I've never had a bad meal here...and never left food on my plate. lol. Add in that the servers are always so kind and inviting and so well versed in meal/drink/wine pairings. And are also great to chat with too. You get what you pay for and everything here is worth it!
We visited Eberly on a Saturday night and had a reservation for 2 at the bar. It was a busy night, and while we originally were disappointed not to have a standard table, we realized that the bar scene was even more amazing. The food was incredible, we tried the chickpea fritter starter, some fun cocktails, and then for mains we had the short ribs and the rigatoni. This was easily a top 3 Austin restaurant for us. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic, and exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back again to try additional cocktails and dishes!
We recently visited Eberly to celebrate our son's birthday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience from start to finish. The first thing that stood out was the beautiful ambiance. The restaurant offers both stunning indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for any occasion. Since we planned to bring our dog, we called ahead to confirm outdoor seating availability. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly guided to the outdoor patio. Before we even had a chance to ask, the staff brought a bowl of water for our dog, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Another touch that made the evening special was that the staff acknowledged our son's birthday upon arrival and presented him with a birthday card signed by team members. It was a simple but incredibly sweet gesture that made him feel celebrated. For drinks, my husband ordered the Swedish Fish Punch, while I enjoyed the Family Business German Pilsner. For appetizers, we shared the Burrata and a salad that is no longer on the menu. The salad featured cashew butter and was absolutely delicious. Both appetizers were beautifully prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned for the three of us. For the main course, we decided to share two dishes. I wanted to try a vegetarian option, and our server was extremely helpful, offering several menu items that could be modified. I chose the Mafaldine pasta, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. It was rich, flavorful, and unlike any pasta dish I've had before. Every bite was outstanding. My son ordered the salmon, which was equally delicious and perfectly cooked. Both dishes were satisfying and filling. Since we wanted to save room for dessert, sharing the entrees turned out to be the perfect decision. We ordered the Pistachio Crème Brûlée and Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the restaurant also surprised our son with a complimentary birthday cake complete with a candle. All three desserts were exceptional and a perfect ending to the meal. Eberly is definitely a high-end dining destination and an excellent choice for special occasions, celebrations, or gatherings with family and friends. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and spacious, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and every dish felt carefully crafted with unique flavors and attention to detail. What impressed me most was that every aspect of the experience--from the hospitality to the food and special touches--felt intentional and genuine. We left feeling celebrated, well-fed, and already looking forward to our next visit.
I've heard of Eberly for years, I just figured it was out of my price range. My friends and I decided to try the Cedar Tavern happy hour, but we arrived to find out it was booked for an event! The hostesses were super accommodating and even though the bar area was full, we were sat at a table and they would still honor the $7 martinis and $10 burger at least! We just had to be out by the time the next reservation was due, which was plenty of time. I thought that was so nice of them. Our table ordered some martinis, the Japanese milk buns, burger and fries, apple Asian salad, as well as the zucchini dish. I would skip the caesar salad, nothing to write home about. I would definitely recommend the zucchini dish, it was perfectly fried and the accompaniments were delicious. The Asian salad was great for a hot day. Of course I've seen the pictures of the grand atrium room with skylights, so it was cool to see it in person. There are many different areas to Eberly, and I must return to fully experience them all. I saw a side patio area, I have heard there's a rooftop, and I know the Cedar Tavern bar was transported from New York City. To top it off, valet is free!
Great food, ribeye special sauce was so good and filling and was already sliced. Potatoes hit the spot with its sauce and cooked so soft. Bread and butter was great star as the butter was whipped and bread was glazed so well. Crudo was so tender and beets salad was great portion. Service was quick and ambiance was dark, would've been nice if blinds were open Would come back.
I love that i don't have to find parking as there is valet. The staff were super friendly. Since I dined alone they gave me just the right amount of attention. The restaurant is beautiful in this old cigar club kind of way I ordered the crudo which came out so quickly. It was delicious with such a good amount of acid. I had the halibut. I did not like that it came out while I was eating the crudo and would have preferred a gap. This fish was delicious. Absolutely loved the pickled chillis with it. I had the pistachio creme brulee this was delicious. I was being greedy and being from Australia I had to have the sticky toffee pudding. This sadly was disappointing. It was too salty and hard to enjoy. Wish I ended on the brulee. I would definitely come back as the service and savory items were great
A group of us went to celebrate a birthday and reserved a table. Our server and manager were very attentive and the service was great. I didn't get pictures or everything but we had tasty food and drinks. The fresh oysters were fantastic and everyone was happy with their food. The potatoes were shared. Between the Bellinis, Old Fashioned and lots of champagne we were happy there. They also brought out a little birthday dessert for the birthday girl. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Valeting is the way to go but there is parking nearby but with a walk if you prefer to park yourself.
Had a reservation for 6:45, SXSW road closures had another idea. Didn't arrive until 7:10 and I did call beforehand to inform them. They weren't very busy and got a seat at the bar. Very friendly staff and attentive. Only recommendation would be to give the rundown for newbies. I mentioned it was my first time in and didn't get any insight. Surprisingly a couple sat near me with a different bartender and they were given a rundown of the concept as well as what they are known for. I got the Cesar salad and the pork chop both recommended by the bartender. Salad came out quickly and was delicious, crisp lettuce and enough dressing. The pork chop too a hot minute. To the point where the couple that ordered after me was almost done with their meal before it arrived. Sooo, not sure where the disconnect was. That same couple finished their meal and left before I was half way through my meal. The pork chop was worth the wait and cooked perfectly. The Brussel sprouts were also crispy and seasoned well. The restaurant had a chill vibe and definitely liked it once the sun went down as the interior lighting really set the mood. You get to walk by the open kitchen line to use the restroom and see the Sun room across from the kitchen. The restrooms were great! Love the decor and the full individual stalls. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the locks to 'occupied/vacant' as it's hard to tell which are available. They def were busier when I left. They do have valet, no self parking and I used a ride share as I knew parking would be tight. I'd love to go back and try a few other things on their menu.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning making it worth the visit alone! But the food and drinks are also amazing. I went for happy hour which is one of my favorites in Austin. I ordered an espresso martini and a maverick martini. I'd pass on the espresso martini in the future but the maverick martini was addicting. Yum! For food, I ordered fries, artichoke dip, and soft pretzel and loved every single thing! Parking was easy as there was complimentary valet. You won't regret a happy hour here!
My girl Maren knew her stuff! She was absolutely the sweetest and everything she recommended was fantastic. The food was so good I was thinking about it the next day and knew I had to share it on Yelp! We got a 6:30 reservation and it was perfect; not too loud or too busy yet. We started with the bread rolls and HOLY! Those things just melted in your mouth and the butter with them was chef's kiss. Maren absolutely rocked my world by recommending the salmon. It came with a thick hash brown-like patty underneath, and it was so well done. The flavor was insane. The rigatoni was fab as well. It had a little kick, but nothing crazy. Now let's get to that toffee cake pudding. W O W. I have nothing else to say besides seriously save room for this in your stomach. Next time I definitely want to check out the cool bar in the back too. The burgers looked awesome
My wife and I went to Eberly's for Fathers Day and we had a wonderful time. The food was very good. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My ceasar salad was great and abundant in size, which helped. The service was a bit on the slow side, but they were all extremely friendly and attentive. The ambiance is date night. Dress is business casual. Look forward to good times here! BTW, there is a hidden speak easy (Shhhh...).
Great date spot! Especially before opera. Get the potatoes it's fantastic. The salmon and bolognese are also wonderful. Can't go wrong here!
We drove from NOLA to Austin with reservations here at 7p on a Monday (thank you for being open Monday or we'd never have been able to experience this)! The establishment is even grander than the photos make it out to be... massive rooms peppered with large wooden beams; tables; and ironworks throughout. There were two other tables finishing up, and us. Our 40-something waiter had just the right balance of casual earthiness and professional attentiveness to match the stateliness of this restaurant. I ordered the Double Feature (Mezcal, hibiscus, ginger) $17 and she her usual "old fashioned" Montecristo (rye, highland park, cynar) $18. Both were fabulous. For apps we noticed charred/tossed brussles with one of the entrees and asked our waiter if that could be an appetizer (not on the menu) and he promptly said Done! It was terrific. For entrees she ordered the Texas Wagyu Strip $48 and I had my go-to fav whenever I see it on a menu: Short Rib $40. See the menu pics for the sauces and sides, suffice to say... incredible. By 8p we were the only occupants left in this cathedral-like establishment and ended up lingering until 9:45, ordering another drink and then one of THE best desserts I have ever had... the Guinness Chocolate Cake (with pumpkin puree, candied quinoa, and maple/choc ice cream) $12. We agreed that the candied quinoa was over the top - adding a delightfully subtle crunch to every bite in this richly dark choc dessert. After realizing that for the past hour we were keeping the bartender, host, waiter, and kitchen singlehandedly at our beckon call, we quietly dropped a c-note for a four-way tip. Thank you folks for the beautiful welcome wagon and chance to unwind and reconnect after 9 hours on the highway!
Came here for dinner and we loved it!!! The server was very knowledgeable and was so helpful in telling us about the menu and the history behind the restaurant. I got the mussels and they were soooo good!!! So flavorful and you get a lot!! The decor is really cute too so perfect for pictures. I think in general it's a bit over priced but definitely still worth checking out!! read more

Fantastic!! Everything was amazing. The food was delicious. The appetizers were great who would have thought the grilled cabbage would be so good! Our waiter B did an amazing job and was very attentive and explained the menu to us. He was very patient and recommended some excellent eats and drinks. I took my wife here for our 21st anniversary. I i have to say it was worth every penny. We definitely be returning. Sorry I forgot to take food pics. The interior is pretty awesome. read more
Overall nice dinner in sophisticated romantic dramatically lit nyc-vibes ambience. Most of the food was on point and server was top notch. Bone marrow beef tartare dissapointed a bit because it seemed somewhat cooked and the beef should be red not browned like much of it was...perhaps from the torched bone marrow. Also, to serve that on top of a napkin was off putting because who wanta to eat any of a bits of a messy dish that falls on the napkin? Found some uni in the pasta (which is typically hard to find in other restaurants) and shrimp were great. Duck rigatoni arrabiata was heavy smoky flavor which is too much for me but that is a personal preference. The creme brulee was excellent and the cherry sorbet was very granular and perhaps would be better described as a granita but strong cherry flavor came thru with a hint of smoky mezcal which was nice. The front of house seemed more subdued, the atrium is a beautiful room, and the back bar area is more lively for food and drinks. read more

I was in town for a trade show, a colleague from the area recommended Eberly. The restaurant is very pretty. Lots of business groups there on a Tuesday night. I had the bread and butter which was good. The halibut was very good. I sat at the bar, the bartender was great. I enjoyed having acqua panna as my water option. The best, cleanest water. read more
Loved this restaurant! The building is so unique and a beautiful environment complimented excellently with great food and cocktails. The chickpea fritter was my favorite we shared as a starter and the Mafaldine was sooo good! An excellent choice if you're looking for a meat free entree. read more

This place has been on my list for some time and is truly impeccable. The staff is attentive and always ensuring that the table is cleanly bussed. We came here for brunch which changes on the regular as the food is seasonal based. I can't speak too much about dinner but our brunch items came out fast and were super flavorful. I ordered the pork belly confit. The pork belly was great but the real star was the cornbread that it was carefully placed on top of. The side Brussels sprout salad had a nice zing and was different when stir fried with some eggs. I'd come back to check out more items in the future and doubt that it will disappoint! read more

I went here on an evening with some friends, and it was a disappointing night. The place was beautifully decorated, and the ambiance is nice for a date or an evening out. However, everything else was mediocre, if not worse. Service: The server did not come to us until about thirty minutes after we sat, and afterwards, only came to take our order and hand out our food. They did not check up on us at all. Everything took forever from service to food coming out to getting the check. They also put the utensils on thr side of the napkin straight on the table, which I felt was not the most hygenic personally. Food: I ordered the NY strip steak medium, and it came with some grains and broccolini. The food was very bland, especially the grains and beans, and the steak was overcooked and more on the medium-well side. The steak was super chewy and lukewarm. In the area we were sat in, the lighting was so dark, and I could not see what I was eating or cutting at all. I understand having dim lighting for the mood, but it was super dark. I also got the Japanese milk bread creme brulee and sticky toffee pudding, which were good but nthing special. They were definitely way better than the main course. Overall, the service was terrible, and the food was okay. read more

Visited Eberly for the first time for a dinner reservation for a Bachelorette party. At first glance, the interior and architecture of the restaurant is exceptionally nice. Unfortunately, despite the stunning interior the food absolutely falls flat. The only item that I enjoyed eating was the Japanese Milk Bread. The NY strip and grains severely lacked seasoning and for how much it costs, there are truly better options for steak elsewhere in Austin. The sticky toffee pudding was okay, but eventually became hard to eat after a few bites due to the overwhelmingly sweetness of the cake. I was also disappointed in the service. It took about 20-30 minutes for us to be able to place orders and then when we were ready for the check it took about another 20 minutes to flag down someone. Once I was able to flag down someone, they gave an attitude when I asked for the check. Again, for a high end establishment this is unacceptable. Eberly has the potential to be great given the interior but unfortunately the food left something to be desired. The cost does not justify for the taste or quality of the food, and service. Even if the food was cheaper, that would still not justify the lack of flavor and mediocre service. read more
A very beautiful restaurant with decent food. We came here to celebrate my birthday and I had requested to sit in the glass room when I made my reservation a month prior, but they could not accommodate us. I love that their pasta is made in-house, but the crab pasta (chitarra) was almost insulting. There were maybe 4 or 5 tiny lumps of crab meat in the dish. I would much rather pay more to get something substantial than this for $36. The short rib was excellent, as well as the crème brûlée. The complimentary birthday cake and sorbet were delicious too. The Japanese milk rolls were decent, but needed the help of the butter. read more

We went to Cedar Tavern for happy hour and were absolutely blown away by how fantastic it was. I think we just found our new favorite spot. Overall, this spot is quaint and luxurious with well balanced cocktails and well seasoned bites. The bartenders were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They made an effort to have conversation with us and made sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed $7 martinis (espresso and dirty), $5 snacks (Parmesan fries, a soft pretzel, spicy dill popcorn), and a $10 burger. Everything was done impeccably. Although it wasn't a happy hour deal, I would also recommend the buttered popcorn martini; it was super unique and worth trying. We will definitely be back for more happy hours, and we look forward to trying the actual Eberly restaurant for an upscale dinner sometime soon. read more
Ambiance was really nice, and Viby. The food... great twist on traditional lao cuisine but the execution wasn't there. I do give the chefs props for trying to put a twist to Asian cuisine. Maybe I'm stuck in my old ways but everyone else seemed to like it! read more

DO NOT plan a large birthday dinner here. I reserved a table for 12 to celebrate my birthday and the staff made me feel less than welcome...probably the worst place I could've chosen to spend a birthday. The service was pretty much nonexistent, we placed our orders and didn't see our waiter for about two hours until we received our food. They didn't think to check in during that time, nor the rest of the meal. For birthdays, the staff sign a card and throw it on the table in front of you without saying a word, I think my head was turned and looking back, found the card with their signatures. In addition, they charge $4 per person, if we want to cut our own cake in their restaurant. For a party of 12, wasn't worth spending almost $50 just to have our cake there. Next time, I'd rather spend my birthday elsewhere to actually have a special time. The food quality was just okay, until we got to the main entrees. I ordered the short rib and this was so incredibly over-salted, it was basically inedible. Other people in my party said the same thing. I ended up saving it, so I could make rice later to drown out the saltiness. Overall, the dining experience from food quality to service was extremely disappointing, especially for a restaurant so highly regarded. Based on my experience. the only thing Eberly has going for them is their ambience, they have a cool looking garden room that we were not able to reserve. Perhaps would be a better experience coming with just one other person. Gratuity of 20% is automatically included in the bill and there is complimentary valet parking. read more

We came here for a late valentine's day dinner and the vibes were immaculate especially in their atrium portion of the restaurant! However, they're very busy and service is generally very slow. We got there right at the time of our reservation and had to wait 10minutes to be seated, once seated we waited around 15minutes for our server to show up with water and ask for our order. Understandably a busy saturday night, but I feel like water is a given and should be ASAP. Crudo (4/5): This dish was delicious! However, seemed very out of place with the rest of their menu. It seems to be more of a Uchi style dish that they borrowed over. Mussels (5/5): The curry sauce that is served with the mussels is amazing and the bread that they give you to scoop up the sauce is so good. Rigatoni (3/5): This was just okay I'm not sure why I got this one. Halibut (4/5): The fish was crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside and very good. I think the food was amazing but I would come back simply for the ambiance. The service could be a little faster. They also have complimentary valet! read more
My friend had her birthday dinner at this location, and we had high expectations for this place as we heard how nice it was. However, I was not super impressed with the quality of food for the price. Everything was just okay. The service was also just okay. It did, however, have a super cute ambiance. The dim lighting set a proper vibe for the evening and created a chill, relaxed mood to enjoy company with friends while eating good food. read more
One of my favorite meals in Austin!! The service was amazing - the waiter was kind, my water was always full, and they switched out plates/cutlery between courses. The ambiance is also incredibly well done with intimate lighting and unique finishing throughout. Some favorites were the squash, bread rolls, rigatoni, and creme brulee, but everything was really good. Eberly is definitely a great spot for any special occasion dinner. read more
Cool vibe. Delicious food. We made reservations for the Bar Top (which is the bar) and had great interactions with the bartender to order our food. Everything was super flavorful, and we were happy with everything we ordered. The bowl of Brussels Sprouts was huge! We weren't able to finish it because everything else has been pretty filling. read more
My wife and I decided to come here for our anniversary because we had been watching Chef Jo Chan on Top Chef and really wanted to try her food. We had an amazing evening, the entire kitchen signed our menu and really made our special night extra special. The Japanese Milk Rolls were probably the best dinner rolls I've ever had. The short rib was complex and tasty. The Rigatoni pomodoro had a brilliant and bright sauce that was absolutely to die for. For desert we had the Polenta Cake, a scoop of house made "Thai tea" Ice Cream and a Banana Creme Brulee all absolutely amazing. Thanks for the extra special night Eberly you rock! read more
I've always wanted to come here because it's one of Austin's most famous brunch places, but the food is overpriced and really mediocre. I wish their brunch menu was more extensive because nothing really seemed to stand out. I barely touched my food because of how underwhelming it was, and my friend who ordered a salad was also playing with her food the entire time. The only redeeming quality of Eberly is probably the ambience and interior (there's a pretty sunlit room inside that's perfect for photos). Other than that, I definitely wouldn't come here for the food. read more

Justine was a lovely server. The food was amazing. I especially loved the tempura mushrooms and the chickpea fritter. I would come again and again! The atmosphere is also very pretty with a nice wine by the glass and bottle list. read more

In short: definitely don't go to this place for special occasion, below average food and sucky service for higher price!! We made a reservation for our anniversary brunch almost two weeks before, and mentioned in our reservation under special occasion, so when we checked in, saw there garden covered patio was not full, and asked if we can get a table there, and the girl who was checking in told, they have a reservation for that place at 12:45, we were there @ 11:30 and I asked we too made a reservation and there's no where you can pick a place while making reservation, then she thought for a minute and told, you can add it as a request So you pick them for a special occasion and specify it in the reservations and request something, which they could've done, but they say no and give you a lame excuse?? Our host was okay, dint even bother to check even once if everything was okay. Food is okay nothing special, we ordered milk rolls, hot chicken sandwich, French toast, El Paso( cocktail ) Milk rolls: it looked glossy, but it's just like Hawaiian rolls, warm on top and cold at the bottom, they haven't even warmed up thoroughly. Cocktail was just okay French toast: this was good, but single slice French toast For$$$ Hot chicken sandwich: there was nothing hot in it, it's just dry hard chicken breast in between the bun, we dint taste any white cheddar or burnt onion aioli as they have described it. So overall I don't recommend this place, and especially not for special occasion!! read more
Awesome place to grab drinks and a bite to eat! The ambiance is incredible -- the place is extremely well-decorated, great mood lighting, etc. Service is prompt, and all of the staff seem extremely nice and genuine! Valet parking makes it such that you can easily show up and get inside, although I highly recommend a reservation. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I always suggest the milk buns if you're getting a bite to eat! They literally melt in your mouth. read more

They had me at free valet! Which was incredibly needed on a Friday during dinner. We made a reservation for the bar top about 2 weeks out for 2 people. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has awesome gender neutral restrooms. Gotta love when you can see if everyone is washing their hands. Overall the volume of this place is LOUD. I wouldn't come with a large group. We started with cocktails. My Manhattan was really boozy, love. The nick the singer was pretty sweet. Espresso martini was just like any other. The $45 Manhattan was good, but I wouldn't order it again. Glad we made it the dessert. Pork cheek ragu was a good size and flavors. I wish it came with my veggies. I'm not a big pasta person so overall it was just good. Short ribs were average. The turnips on it were really good though. Service was slow to start but got better. The person making the drinks was new so that's probably the cause, no biggy. Overall it was a nice experience to do at least once. A bit overpriced for American food just done nicely. That valet though might have me coming back. read more
The Eberly is a very aesthetic and fun restaurant. It's a busy place so make sure you make reservations. The Japanese milk bread and pasta dishes are a must! I had the shrimp with corn pasta and it was spiced great and delicious. The service was great (little slow at the end) but had a great time. read more

Stopped by for some bites and drinks on Friday night and I love the ambiance of the restaurant. We ended up sitting at the bar area and ordering a few appetizers. We got the octopus, steak tartare, crab hush puppies, and a side of broccolini. All in all, I thought the food was just okay. Some of the flavors didn't mesh quite well and felt a bit too sweet for my tastes. The drinks on the other hand were great. We got an espresso martini and Paris review and both were really good. The service at the bar was great and the bartender was very friendly and she gave great recommendations. read more

Great ambiance that makes you feel like a good cocktail is made here. Prices weren't too bad and everything was delicious. My Halibut was so well seasoned and I loved the crab lump pasta. Definitely a great date night spot. Our server Danny was amazing. The way he described dishes on the menu made me want to try everything. He was so attentive and charismatic. And that was while training someone. I will definitely be back. read more

Shout out to the complimentary valet parking. The restaurant blocks the parking belonging to the building for their valet. Directly adjacent is Pavement, a vintage store, and all their parking has strict signage that parking is just for them. Next to that is a plaza with an urgent care facility, and it had tons of open parking, but the way Austin's towing community operates, I was not willing to try it. In other words, there isn't any parking and you might as well valet. I didn't have any cash, and I tipped him via Venmo and appreciated the digital option. I went during brunch, and we made a reservation on Resy, which I highly recommend because we had to wait a few minutes after our time. After all, it was busy. Once we sat down, service was super attentive, and upon ordering, our food came out so quickly! The shrimp was cooked perfectly in my shrimp and grits and was not too salty. If I'm being picky... I wish the cheddar came through more in the grits because the sauce overpowered the delicate flavor of the grits, although hella tasty. The eberly breakfast was standard. The whole grain biscuit was a surprise. It had a lot of flavor and paired nicely with jam. Normally, I expect a golden brown, crispy outside with a flaky melt-in-your-mouth center, but this was not as delicate but really flavorful. Despite the heavy biscuit, fried potato, and bacon, the pops of acidity from the cherry tomatoes added some freshness. As we were leaving, I saw so many people order the Tavern Burger, which you can see all over Yelp. I can't wait to go back and try it because it looked so good. Maybe I can split the banana foster French toast as a dessert with my friend. Also! If you run cold, despite the 107 high today, I would have worn a cardi inside. If you are not in the sunroom, there are some dark pockets in the restaurant that I would have liked a little warmth. read more

This restaurant is gorgeous! I came here with a friend for drinks previously, and we knew we had to come back for brunch after seeing their greenhouse-looking seating area. They only have long tables (6-8 seats) in the greenhouse section, but the hostess was nice enough to seat the 2 of us at a long table anyway since they weren't too busy. I ordered: - Nitro Espresso Martini (5/5): Delicious and caffeinated, no complaints! I'm not sure if this drink had both espresso and cold brew, but unlike other cold brew martinis I didn't feel like this one had a watered down flavor at all. - Cherry Bearclaw (5/5): If you're considering getting a pastry with your brunch, this is perfect! This is a wonderfully flaky pastry with a sweet cherry filling and crispy sliced almonds on top. It arrived warm with fresh lime icing on top, which added the perfect note of citrus to cut through all the sweetness. - Avocado Toast (with poached egg + $3) (4/5): If you're a garlic girl, this is the dish for you! This toast tasted like the chef had rubbed garlic on the bread before toasting it, which added the perfect amount of savoriness to every bite. I loved how the chickpeas added a crispy element, and the herb salad on top added a much needed freshness. Generally, I prefer my avocados to be mashed and seasoned for my avocado toast, but with all the additional elements in this dish I didn't mind too much that they were just sliced. I do feel like if I hadn't added the poached egg, the dish may have been a little dry without the runny egg yolk, but I would still recommend this if you're looking for a lighter brunch dish! Second time back for a work dinner and per usual, Eberly did not disappoint. The food was good (a bit on the salty side this go-around) but I have yet to find a restaurant with a better ambience/layout. We had the privilege of meeting Tommy, who is one of the restaurant owners. He told us how they bought the bar in the back room from a famous NYC bar and rebuilt the original piece by piece. We had a great experience here. It was an anniversary weekend for us and we went to the Eberly to celebrate. They gave us a nice card when we got there. Very kind. Started with the Cold Fashioned which was very nicely made, though I have never had one of these, I enjoyed the flavors and tastes. I will definitely try it again. I went for the spicy chicken sandwich which was broiled not fried, I loved the flavors and the coleslaw and tangy spicy sauce. It comes with tons of fries. Also tried the Avacado toast which was nice. Our strawberry coffee cake came out last (not bad, just were expecting it earlier). It was very nice, lots of flavors and textures. Our server seemed to want us to leave though as she kept asking us if we wanted to wrap up the cake , if we wanted anything else or the bill. We were only there for 45 min total. That was strange.
