Really surprised by the negative reviews on yelp, so even though it's been some time since the Eberle team completed our project, I wanted to contribute my opinion. Kent, Shannon, Nick, Marco, Sergio - the team is really good. Kent is smart, experienced, enjoyable to work with and has unquestioned integrity. I think it's more important to him to do a handful of projects really well rather than many of them just satisfactorily. Shannon is a great project manager and respectful, courteous and friendly. Nick - well Nick is amazing - we miss having him around. Even my shy toddler started looking forward to seeing 'Mr. Nick' and he made my 70-something mother feel so comfortable, which really mattered since we were building her in-law. Marco and Sergio are likewise knowledgeable, skilled and fun to chat with. They also give great advice. The team aside, the addition they did for us is excellent. I have no regrets, would recommend them unreservedly and have continued to use them for smaller projects. As Shannon told me during one of these, Eberle is our "contractor for life" - they value long-term relationships and take care of their customers. read more

As a Realtor, I'm lucky to see great kitchens all the time. And, like the cobbler whose kids have no shoes, my kitchen sucked donkey balls. With oodles of contractor contacts, I was overwhelmed with whom to work with... I don't want quick and dirty. I needed to live in the house (with my hubby, two kids, pets, etc) and I wanted QUALITY. So my neighbor worked with Kent Eberle and WOULDN"T SHUT UP about him. I saw "The Binder" and the results in his house. Damn, if my friend and neighbor hadn't finished his kitchen while I'm researching and interviewing and... overwhelmed with choices. A client once told me that with contractors you get to pick two out of these three things: Quality, On time, Affordable. I picked quality and on time. And I don't regret a thing. I went with Kent. And he showed me what was possible in my kitchen. While we lived there. And without tax reassessment (!!). He explained his process: Plan, Pick and Work. (All your appliances, finishes and fixtures are picked before he starts. It was tough, but I did it while working full time.) And he gave me the timeline. Did his guys follow the timeline? YES! There were a few days that came up because - surprise I had 4 layers of historic flooring in my kitchen - but they'd amp it up, bring more staff and #boom, done! Was the staff nice? FUCK YEAH! I loved those guys. Kent's nice and all, but his staff is BOMB. Sweet, kind, friendly, helpful, respectful, clean. (And they love popsicles, so buy them some!) Was it more money than I expected? Yes. But it is more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. If you're not nice, don't call them. The guys work their tails off... They were like friends in my house for 3 months. And they shared in my joy when I got to take over my kitchen. read more

Kent, Shannon and their team just finished doing a full kitchen and laundry room remodel. I'm so happy we hired them. We found them at the home remodel show at Cal Expo. Kent came out and didn't BS us about what it would cost to get the kitchen/laundry room we wanted. I wanted something i would love for the next 15-20 years and then would be a valuable upgrade to our house when it was time to sell. I was NOT disappointed. It looks absolutely STUNNING. We didn't change the layout just made WAY better use of the space that the developer clearly lacked. Not only was the project manager Shannon always available when i called. The team took great care of our dogs. Making sure they were locked up when needed and let out when needed. Everyone was super professional and nice. I never once felt uncomfortable having them in my home. All of the contractors we were referred to held Kent and his team in high regards and said we wouldn't be disappointed with the results and they were right. They turned a standard 90's kitchen/laundry into something you would find in a magazine. I can't wait till we have the money to redo our master bath. I know EXACTLY who i will be calling. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! Kent and the crews from Eberle are amazing. We did a major kitchen/bathroom/laundry room rebuild on a 1947 home in East Sacramento and everything was done on schedule and according to budget. Kent is a professional and only hires the best to staff his crews. I would trust him/them with any project in my house! Kudos to Kent, Shannon, Rodrigo, Anatoli, the crew from Bud's Plumbing and everyone at Eberle Remodeling! The house was probably cleaner each day when they left than when they showed up. read more

I never used Eberle Remodeling because it took me two weeks to finally get a hold of Kent, the owner. He was never in the office during business hours and always called back the next day when I wasn't home leaving the office number. I thought it was strange that he always left the office number, never a cell phone number. I'd call the office the next day and of course he was out in the field again. This went on for two weeks. When I raised the issue with Chris Eberle who always answered the office phone, he said, "but he always calls you back." My response was he must not need the work if that's the best he can do. When I finally talked to Kent and said maybe it would be easier to reach you on your cell phone, he said he didn't give it out to customers. That tells me a) he doesn't need new clients that badly, and b) the customers are a bother to him. When I first called and talked to Chris, I asked him about permits. He said they would get them for me at a charge to me of $200. When I asked about waiting for a city inspector to sign off on the work, he said they don't do that, the money just goes into their coffer. I found out from another contractor from whom I obtained a bid, that that's not true. He said they do come out and inspect the work that's been done to make sure it's up to code. So who's telling the truth? The final straw was when I finally talked to Kent Eberle and he told me it would cost me $500 for each room I want remodeled for him to come out, measure, and give me an estimate. Are you kidding me??!! He REALLY must not need the work or he only works for millionaires! Over the course of other remodels I've done and many, many bids, I've NEVER had a contractor tell me that!! I guess that's a guarantee to him that you'll pick him as your contractor whether you like what he has to offer or not just so you don't lose all that money. He was my first bid, I will get others, and I may not have picked him (I'm certainly not now) in which case I WOULD lose that money. I'm NOT a millionaire so I can't afford that. He also had a little tinge of arrogance in his voice which is always a turn off for me. read more

Ok, I am about 6 months overdue in posting my review. Shame on me! I am sitting here tonight admiring my gorgeous kitchen and thought it was about time. We LOVED working with Eberle. Kent was very responsive right from my first email inquiry. He was organized and very detailed throughout the whole process. There were no surprises. I work in a service industry and customer service is always a priority for me. Eberle far surpassed my expectations. Shannon, the foreman, and every single employee that worked on our kitchen remodel were extremely pleasant and professional. I could go on all night about how much we loved the entire process, but I will let the before and after pictures tell the story. Our kitchen turned out even better than I imagined. Dealing with my parents house as they get older. They needed an upgrade. They live in the Fair Oaks area. I'd seen the Eberle sign when visiting. I decided to give them a call. Can't speak for cost or quality. Never got that far. The guy was such a jerk and so full of himself I had to get a beer when I got of the phone. How do these type of people keep their doors open. We've used Kent Eberle twice now, for a kitchen remodel and then a bathroom remodel. Both jobs went superbly. Before Eberle, we had another bathroom remodel from another company and it was horrible. Workers didn't come on time, were pulled off to go to other jobs, we never knew what was going on, etc. NONE of that happens with Eberle Remodeling. First, Kent (and a designer if necessary) works with you to get everything exactly the way you want it, with him clearly explaining the cost implications. There are never any unpleasant surprises. Then, the work is precisely scheduled and they stick to the schedule, sometimes finishing ahead of schedule. When there are problems (and there will be on any job) Kent keeps you fully advised and works with you to solve them. Not only all that, but Kent Eberle is honest and reputable in everything he does. I only wish I could afford to have him remodel the entire house. He is a joy to work with, as are all of his subs. In fact, i just wrote a positive review for the plumbing sub he used on our job, Bud's Plumbing. I recommend all homeowners put Eberle on their list of potential remodelers and have an initial meeting. You'll be glad you did and you'll probably choose him for the job. read more

Did not actually use Kent for our remodel, as it was down to him and another contractor who were tied for first. Kent was very patient with us, responsive, straightforward. I checked his references, which were stellar. I would not have a problem going with him for another project as I believe he and his crew would do a beautiful job. read more

My husband and I have worked with Kent on two major remodel/renovation projects. He came highly recommended from two people that I know who have very high expectations and set very high standards. I knew that if he could please them, he could easily please us. Kent's planning and execution made the remodeling of our kitchen, family room, and dining room, plus a new laundry room as painless as possible. He kept to the schedule. We knew what to expect every day and who would show up to work on the project. There were no surprises. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results. In fact, four years later we asked Kent to remodel our bathrooms and reconfigure our master bedroom, again with exceptional results. Over the years, Kent has become our personal "Angie's List" for home repairs. We have contacted him numerous times when we needed help. If his staff he didn't perform that particular work, he provided a name and phone number of one of his sub contractors who could. Kent, whose work is second to none, returns calls promptly, keeps meeting times, and always pleases his customers. When we first met with Kent over ten years ago, he said that he could work for us or with us. The choice was ours. Needless to say, his expertise saved us from making several mistakes. Kent and his staff of craftsmen do amazing work that will leave the customer pleased for many, many years to come. We have recommended Kent to several family members who have employed Kent and company. Each job has resulted with very happy customers who in turn have recommended Kent to others. read more

Last week I had a major plumbing repair done at my house. When the plumbing company was about done with the work, it was discovered that Eberle Remodeling had not done some of the work correctly that was done in 2013. The toilet that was installed in the half bathroom they did was not bolted to the floor correctly and had been leaking under the house. Additionally, when the plumbing for the new half bathroom was done, they moved the piping for the air conditioner and put it back together with different size pipes with insulation and tape. According to the plumbing company that did the recent repairs, had this been viewed by the city inspector, it would have never been accepted. I now have to spend an unknown amount of money to fix the air conditioner. When speaking to Mr. Eberle, he was uncooperative. When the remodeling job was completed in 2013, he was very hesitant and difficult to deal with when it came to fixing things that needed to be corrected before my mom paid the balance owed, which was about $25,000. The same thing happened when my mom was contacted at the end of the one year guarantee. This resulted in my mom hiring another contractor to remodel the master bedroom bathroom, which by the way, was done very nicely. While most likely there is no financial recourse I can take, this clearly speaks to the long term quality of work which is now going to cost me more money. My advice - if you want a remodeling job, look elsewhere. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone...ever! At the end of the day, it's all about how you treat people & these guys are snobby jerks. I found the company because I saw their sign in my neighbors yard. My neighbor sort of recommended them but warned me they were WAY OVERPRICED. That being said, I had some difficulty finding a contractor so I called them for an estimate. The guy answers the phone seemingly put out to have to take my call. I then proceed to tell him I want a huge wall removed, the flooring redone and a new front door set up installed. Instead of asking any other questions he says, "How did you hear about us?" I told him & he then says to hold on while he goes to see if the person I need to talk to is available. Ten seconds later, he picks the phone back up and says they're not here & they wouldn't even consider taking on my project anyway because they only specialize in full remodels. He was a complete jerk about it & acted like I wasn't good enough for him & his stupid company. I'm left confused considering that having an entire wall taken out & floor redone sounds like a remodel to me! And if they're so good at doing these things, my request would only have taken them a day. They could've easily taken on the work. The guy was a lazy jerk. The company should be embarrassed t how the treat people & I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE PROPLE TO ANYONE! Go somewhere where you will be treated with respect!!! read more
