We've remodeled a kitchen before with a company that wasn't fantastic, so having Vostok construction be so great was amazing. We chose Vostok Construction to remodel our primary bathroom/bedroom that had lots of water damage. We knew that it would be a big job (needed new subfloor and floor joists and studs in one wall) and they took care of us. They were very careful to make sure their mess didn't get anywhere outside of the job site, took their time to make the finishes look just right, and were courteous and kind to myself and my kids. And Igor's tiling is absolutely stunning. I have high standards for finishes and I cannot find a flaw in our tile--he's that good. Eric and Alex were super helpful with seeing our vision and explaining what would be cost effective but also functional. I never felt like either of them pushed me to do something I didn't want (and as a people pleaser, that's hard!). The job had a couple of rough spots (bad plumbing from the previous contractor, and a paint color mixup etc.) but each time there was an issue, the communication was clear and they let us know what needed to be done. They were patient when we realized our faucets and other metal finishes weren't matching and did their best to help us find what we needed. They finished the job in the timeframe they quoted us even with some hiccups along the way. I would 100% recommend Vostok Construction (and I have to some friends!). I hope to use them again in the near future for some more bathrooms and a living room overhaul. read more

I got a few quotes from places and I went with Vostok as the quote was in line with the others and I felt comfortable going with them due to their professionalism and response time. I love the new bathroom! I needed the shower/tub combo removed to have a shower only due to my elderly parents that visit and stay over on occasion. I also had an electric bidet installed, which is one of the best inventions ever made. The new exhaust fan is great and is a lot quieter than the previous fan. Vostok has done work for us a few times. First a bathroom remodel, then plumbing. I have to say, it has been a pretty great experience. When there are issues they have always been sure to resolve them, even if the issue keeps coming back for an unknown reason. This alone makes them get my recommendation. The thing is, they also do really nice looking remodels. The work is detailed and they lean towards correct fixed, not necessarily the easiest fix. I respect that a lot. It's good to have a company that is honest with you about the work they do and stand behind it. The pricing has also been competitive. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. They removed and moved walls, did everything in the kitchen, and throughout the house installed new insulation, new drywall, new plumbing, new electrical, new lighting, new doors, new floors, all new appliances and more. They also had some good input that caused me to adjust my vision and I'm glad I listened to them. Vostok's quality of work is top tier! If your priority is high quality work, these are the guys to go with. They take great pride in doing things right and making it as visually & aesthetically pleasing as possible. They were also always willing to address anything I noticed that was missed or not up to my standards. There wasn't much of that, but some. You will notice more than anyone else as it's your house. You are most familiar with it and the one who is going to live in it after the work is done. For me, Vostok was responsive to texts and phone calls throughout the project. My brother had his house remodeled a few years back and he said he had to repeatedly call his contractor before getting ahold of him. I didn't have that problem with Vostok. In addition to that, they were always willing to explain everything every step of the way so you know what's going on. You do have to let them know that you want information and ask questions. Once you do they will explain anything and answer your questions. I wasn't living in my house when the work was being done which I'm sure makes the experience a lot less stressful. So, I can't comment on what the process would be like in that scenario. In the end, the results speak for themselves and the results are exceptional! I am VERY happy! Highly recommend!!! We had very little experience with home renovation, so we got five quotes. Vostok was the ONLY one that provided an itemized estimate by category, including product allowances. And the quote was right in the middle. We also got a realistic time estimate, which they met! Alex and Eric were great to work with on our remodel (knocked out two walls, new kitchen, laundry room and revamped the dining, family and living rooms and raised some ceilings). They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive but the quality of work they completed was undeniably terrific! Alex has a wealth of construction knowledge and always provided cost effective alternatives for issues that in the end always turned out better than what I was expecting. Alex and his crew paid attention to details throughout the construction process and always strived to make me happy with their work products. They stayed on budget (minus change orders based on my upgrades) and would have stayed on schedule if not for some overlooked structural issues that my engineer had to work through with the city to approve the permit amendment. Eric was easy to work with through the contract process answering my questions promptly. The only minor complaint I have is some of their workers start work at 9am so they sometimes stay until 7pm+. Since I'm retired it wasn't an issue and allowed the workers to completely finish a certain phase of the work by the end of the day.
