Have not been back since 2022. While there we witnessed a couple being racially profiled for what the Caucasian waiter and waitress thought the black female couple didn't pay for drinks, then we were racially discriminated against and I absolutely felt uncomfortable. The staff called the cops, made a scene, chased the ladies down which just happen to be walking down the street but the staff came running which was totally uncalled for. We came here for brunch there first weekend of opening! We sat at the bar and we loved the atmosphere. They played old school music from when we grew up and loved every minute of it. We loved the decor and decided to go all out with a mimosa bucket. We chose pineapple juice and blood orange. They were great! We got some brunch sides and the fried ravioli. My fiancé got biscuit and gravy (side) and cheesy grits. Great portions for size dishes. We will definitely be coming back and this will be a place we visit regularly. I'm so glad we chose to have dinner here! The ambiance, the drinks and staff were absolutely wonderful. I was hesitant at first from some reviews, but it turned out to be such a cool place. I had the elder frozen drink and it was so refreshing. The pear taste was not overwhelming at all. The speciality drinks range from around 11 dollars, but were worth it. My family and I were at the Ebb and Flow, Legacy, on Mother's Day Sunday! We were the third group to be seated and completely ignored afterwards. No Water, no waitress, no service. When we asked a waitress if we could get some service, she yelled at us as she was waiting on another table. So loud that the table next to us let out a "WOW." Went here for drinks before my bday dinner and the tall blonde server was extremely rude... I had one friend come late and the server didn't greet her or say anything. Her tone was very rude when we were ordering, she said kept saying "what" with a annoyed expression on her face. When it came time to pay, I just gave her my card which she ran. She didn't give me an itemized receipt with my credit card receipt so when I got it back, I tipped her. Since she didn't leave the itemized receipt, I had no idea she added a service charge of 20% when she was extremely rude to my friends and I. The only reason I noticed it was because I asked for an itemized copy right before I left (which she blankly looked and me and continued to be rude about when I asked or it). Lastly, I had chicken and waffles. Honestly, it was almost great.. But the breading of the chicken had so many clumps that were rock hard, and it hurt my teeth. I just scrapped a lot of it off, and ate the chicken. I was pretty turned off, so I barely touched my meal. I like to be pretty forgiving and understanding. But this was just ridiculous... After two decent experiences at the restaurant we went in for a 3rd visit within 2 weeks and were greeted by a very rude hostess named Abbey, there were several open tables and no additional groups waiting. Our friend was told to say hello to Eric friend a friend who knew him, when she did Abbey responded this is Ebb & Flow. She then proceeded to tell us that people have lied to her face to get a table. There would be no need to do that with 4-5 open tables that could accommodate 3 people. Our server was Kylie, there was a long wait to place our drink order, appetizer order and food order. One of the people with us ordered a salad and requested no almonds due to an almond allergy. The salad was brought with almonds in it. She mentioned to Kylie that it had almonds in it and she responded that she told the kitchen so it wasn't her fault. She took the salad away and then came back shortly after to remove the almonds that were on the table, I assumed she would be removing them because she was allergic to them and that could cause an allergic reaction. Instead she said I'm taking this to show the kitchen because they don't believe me that they put almonds on it. After the experience I thought it would be beneficial to reach out to the management directly and let them know about our experience prior to their official grand opening, I felt that it would be useful feedback for their future growth. I sent a message to Dallas Hale mentioning our negative experience and stating that I'd like to provide feedback. I was called at 7:40 pm on Easter and after providing my feedback the CEO Dallas Hale told me "You want to threaten me with Yelp? You will lose! I own 15 restaurants and good for you that you have hospitality experience in NY and LA but this is Dallas and I own 15 restaurants around the country and you will lose." I don't know what exactly I'm losing by providing my feedback but definitely not a good response from any business owner. This place is a joke. Ask for an itemized receipt every time you order drinks at the bar bc they are sketchy about the drink prices. Every round of drinks was a different price. When we said something to the bartender he said he will give us a good deal by charging us for 6 drinks and will throw in a couple of free drinks. I was really excited to try this place and was horribly disappointed. Pros: the decor, the patio with the flower ceiling, location, menu options. Cons: all of their staff needs additional training-from the hostess, wait staff, chefs to management. Service was incredibly slow. The patio was full of extremely loud, possibly intoxicated ladies. The food was horrible and the drinks were overpriced. I ordered the blackened mahi handheld without bread, with sweet potato fries w/sauce on the side. The first attempt had super overcooked, visibly burnt fries, no sauce on the side, overcooked to death mahi that I couldn't even cut witch a knife. The mahi was supposed to be blackened, but neither the fish or fries seemed to have any seasoning. I've had more flavorful food in the hospital. The waitress walked up and noticed the condition of the fries (another person delivered the plate). She offered to talk to her manager. Manager didn't come over and by the time the waitress finally returned she said she had it being "remade on the fly". I wish she came back sooner so I could have told her we wanted to leave because we had been there a long time and I was starving. The second plate was prepared much better. The fries were not burnt but they still weren't seasoned. The blackening on the mahi was non-existent and it was so bland. I ate a couple bites because my blood sugar was too low (diabetes) and I gave up. The waitress eventually returned and I had to ask for the manager. She came over and asked if we needed something lol. Okay, clearly she's new at this. She didn't really take accountability or try to make it right. She was like yeah, I saw how brown the fries were, I saw how overcooked the fish was, I saw it come back so I know you waited a long time...Um, then why didn't you feel the need to come by the table? I had to ask her for an adjustment. I told her I didn't want a box for my wasted bland food, she still brought it. I left it on the table. Maybe once they train their staff, or hire a more competent team, and learn to season food...then the experience will be as pleasant as the decor. My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Ebb & Flow on Friday night. We had four different cocktails, and they were all fabulous! For our appetizer, we ordered the Stuffed Jalapenos. We get jalapenos everywhere we can, but these were the BEST we've had! So yummy! For dinner, my husband got the Californian with fries, and I got the patty melt with sweet potato waffle fries, and everything was really delicious!
