They were so nice and communicative about the order status. I had a few minutes until my order was ready, so I took a looksie around. The inside and outside are both clean and decorated beautifully. I'm a self-proclaimed sushi snob, and although I do think the quality and variety of places like Nobu and SOTA (one of my personal favorites since they have the "Mitchy roll" - off of the menu and named obviously after me ) certainly set them apart, the price tag is something that leaves a lot to be desired. Enter Eats Sushi. One of the better quality fish places at reasonable prices. We tried this spot on Wednesday around 5 and got seated quickly. By 6:30 the entire spot was packed. There's both sushi bar and booth seating indoors. Love their serving size of 4 pieces per roll. Really good sushi! Came here during lunch time on a weekend and was seated immediately. I love how they have physical menus with pictures to look at. We write the items we want on the piece of paper that they provide. We ordered various items such as seaweed salad, takoyaki, sashimi, rolls, etc. They gave us real wasabi for our sashimi which was nice. The sashimi was a thick cut and super delicious. There is a reason this place has a wait list that shuts down because it's filled up so early. You have extremely reasonable prices for fresh fish that is incredibly high quality and carefully plated. It's also not a very large space for how popular it is. Located in an unassuming area, I almost thought I got the directions wrong. We went fairly early so could avoid the long wait even though the wait list was closed. Every single thing I had was amazing from the uni, to the fatty tuna, sashimi, nigiri etc it all just melted in my mouth. They even had things like monk fish liver which you don't see as often. The baked green muscles were unlike any I have had at other spot, they also had other seafood in the sauce they topped it with and they were cut in half so it was easy to eat them. Perfectly cooked too. Shoshito peppers were even done in way that was addictive. If I'm ever back in town this place is a must to visit again. The service was fast and attentive, great options on the menu, and amazing quality with prices you don't see these days with how bad inflation has gotten. The wait can be really long, as in, waitlist can be 0 wait one minute and the next minute you check, it has 30 people already on the waitlist! Also, you need to be within 5 mi-radius to get on the waitlist. However, once you made past all that challenges, and are seated, the goodness will come. I like the service here, fast, efficient, and no nonsense. I like how their rolls are shorter/smaller, and cheaper, so you won't get too full if you order too many rolls, though we always ended up ordering too much anyway. I also like their tempura, udon, salmon and yellow tail kama (cheek), and takoyaki. I love all their no-rice rolls, hand rolls, and anything with salmon. Fish was fresh and delicious, no wait for a table at lunchtime and they didn't rush us out. Service was flag down as needed after you order. We tried three rolls 4 pieces each roll and then decided three more were needed so waves them down for more. The space is nicer than you'd expect in a strip mall. The music was a little loud the acoustics in there are a bit spartan for sound absorption so if you are there to chat and are sitting by a speaker prepare to lean in. All the fish was amazing. We have been coming to Eat's Sushi since 2022 merely because of their high Yelp and Google ratings and haven't sought out any other place since discovering them. IYKYK! Have we tried other places? Of course - and always regretted doing so lol - now it's just Eat's Sushi every time! I attached 3 photos from this particular visit on Friday night, 5.22.26, and wrote a short blurb for each photo to explain why Eat's is hands down, the best place and usually the place of choice we go to at least 3x a month! They are always busy and that never bothers us because everyone else knows this is the place to go for fresh fish, amazing service, and friendly staff! We have figured out how to join their wait list without waiting their usual 30-60+ min wait. Even if we have to wait, we will. It's worth it every time! On this particular visit, Leo sat us down and Evelyn was our server. All of them are wonderful and these two elevated our visit yet once again! It is the main reason I wanted to post this because they deserve accolades. Leo already had our usual "hot water" order waiting for us at the table and Evelyn is always patient with us when we place several small orders because we like to keep the fish fresh. It's called "tsuika de onegaishimasu" if you care to know haha . The owner was also there that evening, and we witnessed him supporting his team quietly and gratefully by helping collect empty dishes off occupied tables to take them to the kitchen himself. His humble leadership explains why Eat's is on point with their customer service ! Price is extremely reasonable, quality is exceptional, and for us, we love the cozy ambiance! I came here with a friend on 5/11 around 6pm. We only had to wait about 5 mins until we got seated. We ordered the cucumber salad, bluefin tuna sushi, scallops sushi, eel sushi, salmon carpaccio, scallop carpaccio, crispy rice with spicy tuna, spicy tuna handroll, and the scallop handroll. Everything was soo good just like how I remembered it. The sushi and sashimi prices did increase but that was expected since my last visit 3 years ago. My favorite was actually the scallops - it was juicy and there was no fishy smell. I wanted to eat more but I was already full. My friend was an absolute fan and told me she would come back. We were in the area craving sushi and if you search sushi on Yelp this place is usually one of the top results. Came in around 8:30pm on a Tuesday and there was no wait. The menu is huge so we ordered a mix of nigiri and rolls. Some of the items we liked were the toro, jumbo scallop, sweet shrimp, and the pepper salmon. For rolls we tried the dragon, caliente, and fire island which tasted pretty much how you'd expect. I'll be honest, the meal reminded me a lot of an all you can eat sushi spot. For the price the quality is decent, nothing particularly special, but good enough to satisfy the craving. I do like that they offer some rolls in 4 piece portions which makes it easier for small groups to share and try more items. Food came out quickly and the service was attentive. We didn't think the amount of food was going to be a lot for each portion, so we ended up ordering a lot only to find out that everything was packed with protein and with the highest and freshest ingredients. Everything was made fresh to order, and you can taste the quality in each bite. The kitchen staff were all working very hard and you can tell that they were trying their best to work rapidly. Perfect spot for a date night with dim lights and food sushi. Only con would be is that it is a fairly small place so coming with a big group of friends of more than 5 people would definitely be a longer wait. Waitlist on yelp close early due to demand and manually entering at the restaurant would give you a long wait time regardless. I was a group of 3 girls and the wait was surprisingly 2 hrs. Came at 5:50pm to put our names down and didn't get called till 7:30pm to be seated on a Saturday. Luckily we ran errands around the area so time flew by easier. Since the rolls come in smaller plates of four pieces, it's nice being able to try multiple rolls instead of committing to a standard eight-piece roll like most sushi spots. I usually prefer fresher rolls, and the fish here was fresh enough without being drenched in sauce. Everything was simple with just the right amount of toppings. I did notice that a lot of the rolls include tempura. While I usually prefer fresh fish on the inside and outside, the ones with tempura were still done well. I'd still like to see more fresh roll options, but overall the sushi is solid. I also like that there's a dedicated no rice roll section. Caliente was my favorite from that category with a nice, slight spicy kick. My favorite roll overall was the Fire Island. I love red onion, and the peppery flavor combined with the seared fish was a great combo. Service: Very straightforward and efficient. The staff helped us whenever we flagged them down.
