I went here over the weekend with my boyfriend, and the food was so good and very affordable for how much was ordered. The gyoza was super crunchy. I honestly forgot which rolls we ordered, but everything was fresh with no complaints. Our waitress/server was great. She checked in multiple times throughout the dinner. The restaurant itself was nice as well. Very clean and good environment to be in and have a date night.

Been here several times with my wife most recently. If you swing by during off peak hours (after 1pm weekdays) there's basically no wait. Each time we've visited there seems to be new staff whom are always very attentive and supportive! The food comes out incredibly fast and the relaxing/calm vibes easily help retain new customers. The no rice sushi rolls are great, along with takoyaki loaded with squid, and the yellowtail sashimi is a must try. Hard to go wrong with any of the dishes!

Outside they had a cute little sign in area. With some kind of cucumber water with benches. So once you sign in and they open they can seat you right away. ( we came in the evening) so they don't open till five. Super clean everyone super sweet lots to choose from I got the crunchy salmon roll and salmon skin roll no eel sauce. I can see why they are busy. My dad dubs it the best sushi ever. They can accommodate. If you are on a diet they have rolls for that. Great portions great prices. Aislyn our server was amazing! So were the people who cleaned up.

Takeout Order Review - I was PMS craving sushi and decided to order from Eat's! Ordering online is super easy and convenient. When I picked up my food, I was greeted and welcomed in. They were so nice and communicative about the order status. I had a few minutes until my order was ready, so I took a looksie around. The inside and outside are both clean and decorated beautifully. They have cute cherry blossom trees and a nice welcoming vibe inside. Everyone working was so nice and helpful! The sushi itself was so yummy! I ordered 3 rolls that came out to about $24. It was a great price and the sushi itself was tasty. The to-go bags, utensils, and supplies were good quality and durable. EATS has it all, great food, great atmosphere, great service. I'll definitely be back!

This place is one of my favorite sushi spots in OC! Their fatty tuna is a MUST order. I arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday for a table of 2 and we were seated around 6pm. Not bad of a wait at all for Friday evening if you ask me. We ordered a few appetizers, rolls, and sushi. All was so good that I had to come back that Sunday!

Awesome as always and always worth the wait . . . Best sushi on Baker Street. Try the Mountain Hand Roll

Came here for a team sushi lunch and everything was delicious. The quality of the salmon sushi was actually very very good. They do have a yelp check in offer where you get a free soda with check in. They do not offer AYCE options, so we were calculating a bit so we made sure to not go over our lunch budget, but everything came out to be reasonably priced. I did enjoy the rolls as well. They had a good selection of hand rolls and no rice rolls. Service was friendly and they were able to accommodate our group of ~10. Definitely a great sushi spot if you don't mind ordering without the AYCE option.

By far and away my FAVORITE sushi experience I've had in a long time. The quality from Eat's sushi is next level. Sizable portions and pretty affordable for what you get. Service was kind a supportive, limited seating so make sure you put your name down and chill around the area during the dinner rush! Ambiance is a but dark for foodie lighting but the cute mini lamps help get that covered. I cannot rave enough about the quality of each bite. I can honestly say that it's the closest and freshest to Japan quality! Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself!

Really satisfied with the quality of fish and service here. I believe this restaurant has been opened for about 3 years. You can join a waitlist. We tried this spot on Wednesday around 5 and got seated quickly. By 6:30 the entire spot was packed. There's both sushi bar and booth seating indoors. Love their serving size of 4 pieces per roll. For sushi pieces you can order 1 piece instead of 2. The bluefin and uni were my favorite. The Karage was just okay. I definitely recommend all the fishes. There's options of no rice rolls to choose from as well. The server was great at providing recommendation for first timers. All food came out fast, including the cooked rolls.

Just a casual Wednesday night and wanted some sushi. Stumble across this restaurant. CAN I SAY UNASSUMING! Eat's Sushi to be honest, sounds like a casual to-go spot. The moment you walk inside it is vibes and ambient. Lighting is great, design is on theme and just good energy. I really enjoy a sushi spot where you have the option to have half rolls or smaller rolls. The reason being you get to try more variety. We ordered -Pink lady. -Albacore delight -popcorn roll - Salmon Blue Crab - Crispy rice with Spicy tuna. All great bites. The best role of the night was the salmon blue crab. Tangy Ponzu, rich truffle oil, creamy crab, avocado, and combined with the thin slice of tuna. Yummmmm. Easily one of my favorite bites of sushi.

POKE SALAD! Really good and really big!

This place was AWESOME!! Really good sushi with an incredible price point. Great interior decorating and mood lighting. Our waitress was nice but every other server, the slightly older women, were EXTREMELY rude. Probably just cultural difference and it was a busy Sunday. No eye contact. Dropping food off to wrong people and walking away. Asked questions get no responses. It's ok! Our waitress was lovely! And that is what counts! I'm on a cut, so the no-rice sushi rolls and big salads were perfect. I really liked the poke salad! Great poke covered in fish eggs with a delicious ginger dressing on it. Giant fresh salad. Hard to get better than that on a cut! The salmon and tuna was melt in your mouth good when combined with the dressing. I would definitely go back if in the area!

5 stars for all the rolls we always get here. Their nigiri is also good but it's not anything spectacular, but great for their prices! I love that the rolls are half sized so you can order multiple different rolls to try a variety, even in a small group because then you don't have to finish so many pieces in one roll and get full to try others. Fish has always been fresh for us and they're always sooo busy. The wait can get long and there are people waiting outside during prime time, however it goes by really fast. The sushi chefs are really working hard making all the rolls cause sometimes I'm shocked with how quickly our orders get brought to our table after ordering. Service is always nice and friendly and ambiance is dim but lively. It's located in a shared lot with multiple establishments, however it's not too bad to find parking. Definitely recommend for a quick good quality sushi meal!

I've been wanting to try this spot and it did not disappoint. The sushi quality is excellent, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the food came out. The rolls are also served in smaller portions (4 pieces), so we can try more from the menu without getting too full. The standout for me was the salmon collar, which I always order at sushi restaurants. The pieces were huge and perfectly cooked. Overall, a great experience and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend if you're in the Costa Mesa area. MENU: Tako Yaki Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Tempura Udon Bluefin Sashimi Salmon Blue Crab Salmon Collar Roly Poly Red Eye Cucumber Wrap Albacore Delight

The chicken kebob, filet mignon kebob, large shrimp, rice, vegetables, hummus, and bread were all flavorful and cooked really well. The portion was huge and easily fed four adults. OK im actually surprised how together it tasted. Good flavor, if u can get the veg pita and meat in a bite. The kebab tends to slip upward from the veg base. I did expect them to be fresh but they were completely frozen so I am not sure when they harvested them and the scallops themselves were a tad on the smaller side, at about $33 for a 17oz bag that seemed a bit steep. Or maybe they like the cuisine, but for health reasons they've been told to avoid eating it. I know for me I just haven't come around to a lot of Asian cuisines that are focused on high vegetable and low protein content. But to this day Toby and I have never shared a seafood boil together. She has a germaphobe reaction to eating food with her hands and there's no easy way to knife-and-fork stuff like shrimp, crawfish, crab, or lobster. She's offered to get something else like fish n' chips or a plain steak or something, while I get myself a boil. However, one of the joys of boils is digging into a mound of Cajun-flavored seafood together as a group effort. A wondrous temple to the art like Roux Seafood Kitchen would be wasted on her. I couldn't get enough of their shrimp and crawfish. They were both plump, flavorful, and disassembled easy in my hands. At a lb. each, I was more than stuffed at meal's end. I think the only thing that could've made it better is if I had ordered a lobster tail in there. That would've been my ideal order. The service was great here for my party. The drinks were refilled quickly, the food was brought out in an efficient manner, and even the order taking was controlled in what kind of have been haphazard conditions. I liked the ambiance too. The dining room was a spacious and accommodating. The music was low. And the crowds were busy but not super full, which is where I like it. Nobody was on top of each other at neighboring tables and the noise level wasn't drowning. All in all, I think this is the perfect example of a seafood boil joint. The only thing that could've made it better is if my oldest eating buddy (and ex) could've miraculously gotten over her condition and joined me. That's the dream.
