Such an incredible spot to go to for a special day! We celebrated my birthday at Seasons and had such an amazing time! We ordered all sorts of dishes like their Mac n' cheese, loaded potatoes, shrimp filled mushrooms, pesto chicken flatbread, gnocchi, side scallops, and their strawberry spinach salad! The highlights were definitely the scallops as well as the loaded potatoes. For people who are health conscious, this spot is amazing because they keep each dish under 600 calories. It definitely makes for a guilt-free experience to enjoy tasty food! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I've probably only been here less than 5 times. The last time was for a birthday for a table of 9. I showed up first and checked in with a cake at the front. The table was set up and ready to go. The party trinkled in within 15 minutes. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. We had several appetizers including the grilled artichoke, 2 flatbread pizzas, stuffed mushrooms, and the tuna poke. Who knew artichoke could be so delicious? I definitely wouldn't be able to make it that way at home. I also enjoyed the stuffed mushroom and although several people said the tuna didn't taste fresh, I thought it was decent. We ordered an array of entrees as well. I ordered the scallops and added on a lobster tail for $14 which i thought was a good deal. The party agreed the portions here were generous. I was expecting to receive 3-5 pieces of scallops in my entree, but it actually came with 7 pieces and some risotto and asparagus. I was able to share the scallops with friends so that they could enjoy it too. I was very full by the end of the meal, but we ordered 3 dessert glasses to try out and we had a birthday cake to share. I would add that my lemon drop cocktail was not sweet, so I asked to have it remade sweeter and they were able to accommodate just fine. When the cake came out, the restaurant provided candles which was nice and the birthday person got an additional dessert glass and birthday candle to blow out. The only thing is we had to ask for dessert plates and knife/utensils after the cake was brought out and was sitting for awhile. My phone ran out of batteries during the meal, so I wasn't able to take as many pics. The meal was great though and I would consider coming back!

Located next to Bloomingdale's at the South Coast Plaza. Plenty of free parking however valet parking is also available. Outdoor seating available- full bar that hosts a generous happy hour. Upscale, welcoming atmosphere with friendly attentive servers. Good menu variety, reasonable prices- the food was delicious and the dessert menu has yummy decadent choices in perfect servings that are guilt free. Great seasonal offerings.

My sister from another mister lives in San Diego, so Season's 52 has become our go-to for celebrations. The quality of the food is consistently good, the martinis are perfect, and the exceptional service is also consistent. On a recent visit we received excellent service from bartender Ashley and our sever Jose. I noticed a message on the check that said, "Proudly served by" and that's true. The staff here do take pride in delivering great customer service. Thank you, Jose & Ashley, for another memorable dining experience. (Read my detailed review below from my first visit.)

Always wonderful here. We usually sit at the bar and have met great people there. They have a great wine selection at reasonable prices and the food is great. I have the Alaskan Wild Butterfish - it was amazing. My hubby got the trout and really enjoyed it... I had a taste and like my butterfish better.

My colleague was in town and we met at Season 52 restaurant. It's a beautiful restaurant evoking classic style and ambience with a decor of dark wood and mood lighting at every table. I say all this because it's so noticeable upon walking in as most restaurants these days have a decor completely opposite. Also, they have outdoor seating as well. Still though it's about the food. First they boast that their menu is "seasonal"...highlighting items that are more likely found in season (in this case winter). It's not an overwrought menu, one page for everything...the opposite page for all the adult beverage options. For appetizers we shared: Cauliflower as gratin-think macNcheese without the Mac. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and delicious. For dinner: My colleague ordered the porcini mushroom soup and rated it among the best soups he's ever had and had the same sentiment for the pork chop entree. Me, I got the salmon ( on plank) with a side Cesar salad. I would say the the Cesar was the least impressive, it had croutons and lettuce and that's all that can be said. The salmon was cooked well and served with crispy beans and soft mini potatoes. Overall, a filling, delicious meal. Lastly, their desserts are small, compact and parfait style...offering a sweet ending to a meal while consuming something lower in calories(500 ish per parfait serving) than the average slice of dessert at other place. I chose the cannoli and peanut butter while my colleague chose the pecan...we both agreed they were delicious! This was my first time at this restaurant (as well as for my colleague) and we came away impressed and satisfied. The service was attentive and good...we got seated right away before our actual reservation time. Overall a great experience and if I'm in the area a place to recommend or return.

Got the crab cake, pesto chicken and mozzarella flatbread, cauliflower gratin, Brussels sprouts, tuna tartar to share and enjoyed everything. The cauliflower was a standout item, everything else I would get again but would be open to trying something different as well. For my main I got the scallops. They were nicely cooked, not chewy at all and had good flavor. I really enjoyed the risotto as well, it complemented the scallops well. I chose the raspberry chocolate chip cannoli for the mini dessert and really enjoyed it. I went for this one cuz I didn't want a super rich and heavy flavor, and this one had a nice balance of tartness and richness from the cannoli filling. Would definitely want to the other flavors next time because they really did all sound good. For cocktails, I got the Hawaiian pineapple cosmo and blood orange margarita. I loved that they left you with the shaker with the leftover extra of the cosmo. They didn't do that with the marg. I enjoyed both. I also tried my friends cucumber basil smash and surprisingly really loved that one and wanna get that one next time I go. It was a sweet, smooth, and refreshing taste rather than being actually cucumbery in flavor if that makes sense. Like the cucumber melon version of cucumber. Not much basil notes from my memory.

Located in South Coast Plaza, next to Capitol Grille- be careful of allotting extra time for parking because it can get pretty busy during dinner hours. Granted, I was in a bigger group, and so the service was predictably slow, but still, you wouldn't expect to have to wait about an hour and 20 minutes before we could put our order in from the menu Prices are reasonable for a higher-end restaurant, although the lamb chop that I ordered was prepared way overdone, considering the fact that I ordered it rare. It was more like medium to medium well. I also ordered a Caesar salad that was sizable volume, but on the definitive, salty side and a little overdressed. Service in ambience or top notch and I would definitely return but perhaps order a seafood dish instead. That's all

Food: 5* Service: 5* Ambiance: 5* Food Enjoyed happy hour (HH) here before watching the Wiz at Segerstrom Hall. The HH food was largely flatbreads. We ordered their chicken pesto flatbread, Chipotle BBQ shrimp, and the Philly cheesesteak flatbread. The chicken pesto was good, tasty, and well seasoned. Our favorite. The shrimp flatbread was ample, tasty, and well seasoned. Our second favorite of the three. The Philly cheesesteak was not. It was dry, flavorless and needed oil or truffle oil to make it work. We had the Cabernet Sauvignon 'sip' and Chardonnay 'sip'. The cab was great, fruity and tasty. The Chard was lackluster, no butter, no depth. But the portion of 'sip' was great. Very generous and worth the $7 each. Service Excellent at the bar. Very helpful, friendly, and attentive. T.J. Was particularly helpful never let our glasses get empty and very helpful about service and recommendations. The front desk ladies were less so. Dismissive when they knew we wanted to have Happy Hour. Like we weren't worth their time to help. Ambiance The setting is very pleasing. Cozy, upscale, and comfortable.

This place welcomes you so well and listens to you. Grayson was our server, and he was amazing. Love his energy and enthusiasm. More people should be like him! Every plate that was served was utterly delicious; the fish, the grilled artichokes, and the chicken! Good thing I wore my pretty fat girl pants, because I made sure I was gonna devour my food, and lick every plate. Really like the bar area- seems so cozy. I had to tell my friends about this place!

Thanksgiving Meal at Season 52. Everything was magical. The service was excellent. We had reservations and did not have to wait at all. The food came right away. The turkey was perfect, with lot's of gravy. We had to ask for extra gravy twice but that is because we love gravy on everything. The cranberry sauce was fantastic. The helping of turkey was a good amount. Everything was perfect until they told us they were out of pumpkin pie! That is why I gave the dinner four stars. How can they run out of the best part? I recommend Season 52 for Thanksgiving .

I've been meeting my cousin for lunch here once a month, so I thought I'd better get to reviewing it! I've never had unacceptable service nor disappointing food. This time, we shared the crab cake as an appetizer. It had just the right ratio of crab meat to what holds the cake together, and it was delicious! My cousin had the spinach and strawberry salad, she added a skewer of scallops, which were cooked to perfection. I ordered the wood-grilled tenderloin salad, it was chock full of wonderful things: corn, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, along with the lettuce and fresh spinach, and the beef was tender and cooked perfectly! We saved room for dessert, a bargain at $4, each little concoction is so rich that the serving is just enough. The menu changes seasonally, and each dish is guaranteed not to exceed 585 calories! It's worth the trip to South Coast Plaza!

We had a large group of 9 for our monthly gathering. We sat outside and luckily no rain. It was a bit quieter outside so we could chat. Ordered a few of the flatbreads. The philly cheesesteak flatbread was my favorite. We also had the meatball appetizer which came with three meatballs. Again, very tasty and hearty. My main dish was a brined pork chop that was cooked perfectly, very tender and full of flavor. It reminded me of the Playground pork chop back in the day, but this was a much smaller version. The chop came with red cabbage and grapes. Had some wine with our meal as well. Overall, a good experience.

Hi, has anyone had a lunch event hosted in the outdoor area in July? They don't have fans and I want to make sure th weather is bearable Thanks?

Their outdoor seating is quite nice. Afternoon should be ok because the restaurant is facing east so the sun is already behind the building by then.

What's the corking fee at your restaurant?

I have been looking for same thing today. I eat there several times a month but usually for lunch and do not bring a bottle. I found one website on O.C. corkage fees which said $15.00 but these sites are notoriously wrong or out of date. I do know… Read more

Is there a private dining room with a TV for projecting a powerpoint? How quiet is the room for doing a dinner seminar on a Tuesday or Thursday night?

Yes there is a private dining room and projection screen. The rooms are very quiet any day of the week with doors closed.

How is the Noise level, for people hard of hearing?

I would say it depends on the time you go. I went late afternoon and sat in bar section and could it wast to bad. As it got busier it did get louder, but still could hear. The dining room section unfortunately I can't give the best info for you.

    Lunch entrees range from $15 - $18.

Do you have a pre fixed menu?

We heard it is very noisy?

It's a popular restaurant, and I imagine when it's busy it may be loud. I am sensitive to noise and the noise level has never bothered me.

Are dogs allowed in the outdoor patio?

Is the piano player back yet?

NO! We were so disappointed when we were there two months ago. We were told they haven't had a player since the pandemic started. 😞

    Do I Need Reservation?

isn't strictly needed, however if you wish to get in faster you must make a reservation.

Why was the tiramisu removed from the menu?

The menu is seasonal, including desserts.

Not yet. According to the people I spoke with last night, happy hour won't be back until full capacity

Can't say enough great things about it!…read more A super intimate, upscale-casual (smart casual vibes with no enforced dress code) restaurant located in the third-floor penthouse of SCP. The space feels intimate because it's on the smaller side, and they thoughtfully stagger reservations so the dining room never feels overcrowded. You can be seated in the main dining room, on the outdoor patio, or on the indoor patio next to the penthouse shops. I come here at least once a year for my birthday because the staff are genuinely warm and make every guest feel special. They clearly care deeply about hospitality and creating a true culinary experience. Honestly, the entire team is top-notch, but on our most recent visit, Kara took especially great care of us. She remembered our preferences, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without needing to ask, and made my birthday feel special while also giving my husband and me space (I dislike when wait staff at smaller restaurants hover - they don't do that at all). The way the staff serves, takes orders, clears, etc. is like a really well-rehearsed dance - they want everything to be paced, smooth, and efficient (without feeling forced or robotic) and it really makes a difference. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, with thoughtful attention put into every detail of the flavor profile and color palette. They NEVER miss. I love how they refresh the menu a few times during the year to showcase seasonal ingredients while still staying true to the restaurant's overall identity. They also have a selection of dining experiences - I always go for the 3 course prefix during lunch and the portion sizes and timing of each course is perfect. Also highly recommend their afternoon tea on Saturdays. Couldn't find a more luxurious afternoon tea experience in OC! I genuinely hope they continue to do well! It's a pleasure to be a guest and feel pampered for a special day or an elevated casual meal with friends/family. Will be back many times in the future!

Definitely will be back for the dessert at least... and maybe the tasting menu. Apple (vanilla panna cotta, tatin, earl grey crumble, granny smith: compressed & gelee, green apple sorbet): You gotta come here for dessert. This was phenomenal. The earl grey crumble was delicious and plays well with the sweet tartness of the granny smiths. I'd say the component that felt out of place was the compressed pieces; they tasted like an fresh apple version of tandra which was too sweet and the layers meshed together. Main diver scallops (cauliflower, romanesco, capers, lemon confit, crostini): The scallops were so juicy and perfectly seared on the top. The cauliflowers were good but lackluster. The server told me there's cauliflower puree on the bottom which was yummy. Lemon confit who? There was an essence of lemon but nothing very present. Crostini was essentially like mini plain croutons. Wild Alaskan halibut (braised & fermented fennel, castelvetrano olives, preserved lemon): Only tried a bite of the fish and fennel. The fish was very nicely cooked and the crust on top was delightful. The fennel was sour due to fermentation but I didn't particularly enjoy it.

The rest of our food once we got them were good; NY steak, filets, crab cake, lobster Mac and cheese, fries, onion rings. Unfortunately, the long wait time over shadowed the good food. The only problem was we couldn't finish all of our food but we will just eat it tomorrow night at home. Nothing wrong with have great meals two nights in a roll. Our waiter Chad was really helpful, friendly and informative. Everyone around us was well dressed it made the dinner extremely special and memorable. This was my first time frequenting this location, and honestly it delivered in every facet. The happy hour was an excellent value including numerous $12 cocktails and an exceptionally priced Dry Aged, Kona-crusted New York Strip. For $18 you got a very generous portion of an excellent cut of steak. The filet mignon we ordered off the main menu was perfectly medium rare (not a given at other steakhouses in the area), and the au gratin potatoes were super creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor without being overly heavy. We ended the meal with a delicious creme brûlée, and left feeling happy and full. Beyond the food and drinks, I have to also call out the exceptional service we received from Eric. He truly took care of us from the moment we sat down and made my birthday feel really special. He was attentive, enthusiastic, and friendly throughout. Thanks again to The Capital Grille for making my birthday a great one!

You can tell it's been thoughtfully curated, and the staff really knows how to guide you through it. The pairings are intentional and elevate the entire experience, not just an afterthought. The ambiance is top-notch, effortlessly stylish, warm, and the kind of place that works just as well for a date night as it does for a relaxed night out with friends. And the food... the pork belly taco was absolutely mind-blowing. Perfectly balanced, rich without being heavy, and executed with real attention to detail. This is one of those places where everything, from service to wine to food; comes together seamlessly. Definitely a standout.

Instead, I called them and they were able to accommodate that change. Since, Bar Tinto is in WIP, we know that parking here sucks. So come early for parking, luckily they were able to hold our table. This review is for Jonathan Garcia's menu. Kushi oysters were served with a lime mignonette already in the oyster shell. Oysters tasted fresh and good quality. The ribeye vampiro was served on a corn tortilla, with a sheet of cheese, and balanced salsa. I was expecting nice thick chunks of ribeye, but it was a thin crispy slice. I enjoyed the dish, but I was hoping for more. I tried my friend's pork belly taco and it's delicious. The fattiness was decadent. I wish I ordered one for myself. In addition, as a wine bar I would expect a wider variety of wines. They are knowledgeable about the 5 wines on the menu. It's ironic facing a wall of wines, but only able to sip on 5 varietals and some spritz options. However, the desserts were delicious and I recommend saving room for both of them. Unfortunately, I would not return here. The customer service was attentive, but kitchen is slow. If you do decide to come here, then I suggest you practice patience or come here on a date with someone you really like. Also, check their IG for an updated menu, since it probably changes often.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and was such a cozy area to sit outdoors and enjoy drinks with friends :) Tucked in the corner with a vintage, maximalist, whimsical vibe. If you have some time while browsing The Lab during the day, I recommend stopping by for a drink! It's also nice to include in your barhopping itinerary in the evening since there are a number of breweries around too. I've had mixed experiences with the bartenders. Luckily, the gentleman manning the bar during my most recent visit was very friendly. Drinks are always great. I've tried a variety of drinks from the menu here, but my favorites are: -Love in Drunk, a lovely cocktail with cucumber and grapefruit flavors that create a fresh watermelon taste when mixed together -Bee's Knees, short but strong and sweet -London Mule, very herbal thanks to the gin and very refreshing
