Nice size, fast-casual restaurant with ample parking. I got their app which gave me a free protein bowl (with purchase of a drink). I was going to try the protein bowl so was very happy. I also got a Mediterranean chicken bowl. The servers were very friendly and helpful. My protein bowl had 4 proteins and some beans, rice, and chopped chilis. I've been to several California Fish Grills, but not to this location. I ordered the everything protein bowl for the first time because it has 39 grams of protein. It had a bit of salmon, white fish, shrimp and grilled chicken as the protein and came with white rice, hummus, couscous and a few greens and it was delicious and very tasty. Service was great and you can either order your food at the counter through a kiosk or a staff member will take your order. There is a lot of seating available as well as a small section for outdoor seating. Casual dining located at the end of a strip mall with a private parking lot. read more

The Barramundi we ordered was perfectly done, crispy and juicy and well-seasoned. The shrimp skewers were literally perfect! The vegetables we ordered are flavorful and pair well with the rice and seasoned fish. First of walking in the people working are so sweet and welcoming! The woman working the front helped us and answered any questions we had! They brought our food to us and even brought us over some green sauce and red sauce! The food was exceptional! My tilapia grilled plate was everything! The fish was cooked perfectly! I live down the street and was excited to try this place last year when they opened up. Once I tried the food I was hooked and I come here once a week for my fix. My favorites are: (the seasonal) Miso Salmon Plate, Dynamite Shrimp Bowl, Sockeye Salmon Plate and Mediterranean Chicken Wrap. I wish they had more wild caught fish on the menu. Right now the only wild caught fish is the Sockeye Salmon and it's a couple dollars more expensive than the other farm raised salmons (which I am okay with). The service here is always top notch and like the friendliest and nicest people work here. Even though you order on a kiosk when you come in (cashless) they always ask if you have questions or need help. They offer you a water cup while you're waiting for your to go orders. I'm not sure who trained these staff members, but give yourselves a pat on the back for the great job! I'd also like to say that all my 16+ orders have been 100% correct which is great. The cashiers were sweet, and parking was easy. No trash cans in sight, which was surprising. Tables could've been wiped down better, but nothing major. I grabbed a fish taco before heading to the airport--looked heavy on the crema, but it was perfectly balanced with the salsa and pickled onions. The fry on the fish was spot-on. Other locations can go overboard, but this one nailed it. I dined around 2pm on a slow Thursday, which was nice. Can't believe that I slept on California Fish grill. They've been around for decades but I only just tried it recently per the recommendation of my friend. I tended to avoid California Fish Grill because I wasn't sure how much the meals cost and if there were ever enough in variety to choose from. CFG is extremely affordable and this location caters to those looking for a more casual setting to dine in or order to-go. On average, the plates cost about $15 per person and it's portions are large in value. I could see myself eating dinner and lunch here often. The kiosks at the front make it useful to order your food and browse through selections at your convenience. The soda fountain is accessible for refills. My boyfriend and I ate here two nights and row and tried various entres that did not disappoint. PS, you can NEVER go wrong with classic fish and ships. Also, you will never find a sea bass or mahi mahi entree at such a good quality and price anywhere else. read more

I was more than pleasantly surprised at this casual fast food eatery. I am usually leery at fast food seafood places but this place was fantastic! For the grilled plates, you choose the protein, then the sauce, and then 2 sides. We ordered the grilled shrimp plate with seasoned olive oil and chose sweet potato fries and zucchini for our sides. You have the option to choose upgraded sides for an extra buck or two. We also ordered three out of the four tacos: the battered fish taco, the chicken taco, and the Cajun salmon taco. The portions are very nice for the price that you pay. We got 6 large grilled shrimp and they were very fresh and tender and flavorful. You would probably be paying $30 for this dish at a restaurant but it was half of that at California fish grill. The tacos were all very good as well but the favorite was the battered fish taco. The sea salt mango juice came in a very large cup for $4 and was very good (thick consistency) and not too sweet. The eatery was clean as was the restrooms. This was located at the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and supplied us with extra utensils, napkins and dipping sauces. It was nice to be eating fast food with actual plates and utensils! If you're looking for a place with great seafood at a good price, this place is for you! read more
